Today I took my first driving lesson with one of the drivers, he did not introduce himself, however, right at the start he was there five minutes early. He had me immediately sit as the driver, went through adjusting my mirrors and how to properly exit the driveway. keeping tabs on the things that A driving instructor would during the actual driving test. In terms of teaching method , with this instructor in particular, he was direct but a little bit confusing in certain explanations of his instruction. However, I thought that I did learn quite a lot, and I appreciate that he treated my driving as if I was taking the test with him. He gave me some really great tips on how to better turn the car and be sure to not hover my foot over the break. as well as what they are looking for when you take the test. They do require that you pay upfront with cash before the lesson starts, but I was really proud of what I was able to accomplish within the hour of time allowed. He was very encouraging as my instructor and based on how I did, he said that "maybe give it two or three more lessons" and then I should be ready for the driving test. I personally know that I do need to practice more, so I definitely would use this place as that resource! read more

The tutor was very irreponsible and impatient. . Despite our prior agreement for $160 in cash, he attempted to charge $230, which was both unexpected and inappropriate. I was deeply dismayed by the lack of professionalism displayed throughout our sessions. Instead of offering constructive guidance, the tutor responded to my queries with dismissive remarks and impatience. When I sought assistance with adjusting the mirrors, his response was not only unhelpful but also disrespectful, stating, "You're sitting in the driver's seat; why are you asking me?" followed by, "You can waste any time you want; it's your choice." This attitude hindered my learning experience significantly. Furthermore, the tutor consistently failed to provide clear instructions and feedback, opting instead to schedule additional sessions without addressing underlying issues. I actually had a good road lesson with this driving school though the reason I'm rating them so lowly is because of the rude and unprofessional man who answers the phone. I called this place multiple times to schedule a road lesson and explicitly stated I was interested in the 3-road lesson package ($195). The day before my first lesson he called me to finalize a time and told me to bring my learner's permit and $70. I assumed I would bring the rest during my next two lessons. When I called back to schedule my second road lesson I asked if I should bring the difference to my next lesson and he very rudely and aggressively said that "it doesn't work that way" and that I had to pay $70 for another individual lesson or $195 for another 3 lessons. He then went on about how he told me this on the phone when he only ever said to bring $70. It's unfortunate because if he said this in a nice and professional way, I would have just ate the extra cost of paying for individual road lessons vs the package. I began Drivers Education when I was 16. Went here over spring break in 2013. I did the lessons with them. Tim and the others were beyond rude. Took personal phone calls during my lessons. Were never clear on what I needed. I also was screamed at and the instructors also swore at me and made me cry. My mom called them and they apologized and continued their behavior still. Told me I was horrible and was not ready. Told me not to come back until I was ready. Never come here. read more

From the experience i had in this school, surely, 'BEST' is the best name for the driving school - very experienced, patient, matured, courteous, supportive and accommodating instructor; also, very functional, comfortable and clean car to learn with. I had a horrible experience with this school. I hold an international license and I have been driving for two years before I got here. I know driving in real life can be very different from driving for road test, so when my coach told me I would fail unless I practiced way more with him in the first class I had, I was ok with it. I then asked him to register me to a Road test two and half weeks later and he said ok. I repeated my willingness to take the road test every time when I drove with him and every time he told me he would put me on the list. Then, after 4 classes, I asked him if I was on the list, he said I was not. When I asked him why, he said "I did not take that seriously" What kind of coach would not want to take that seriously? I was mad and I asked him to put me on the road test after the one I was supposed to take and continuing driving with him that day. While I was driving, he got a call from student who had exactly the same issue I had. He used the same excuse to respond to that kid. I decided to not take the test with him at that point because I was worried that this would happen again. read more

This place sucks!! Don't let them tell u otherwise. I paid the full amount here for a drivers Ed course. On my first road lesson, the instructor was unhelpful and inpatient!!! Then, when I scheduled for my next lesson. The director called me and pretty much told me that it's pointless for me to drive with them, that I can't pass the road test if I don't drive with my parents. Meanwhile I paid $500 to them so I can learn how to drive. They were pretty useless so I went to Beckys, did a couple of road lessons and got my License the first try. So many people told me "just go to ALERT", and I wish I listened. It was like pulling teeth trying to schedule my drives and observes. And 2/3 times, the driver was a half hour late, or didn't show up. I wouldn't find out about a cancelled session, unless I sat and waited for a half hour, then call, only to be told that nobody is coming. My feedback is just for the adults drivers who are looking for a early date to give the road test onsite at Best driving school Inc. I had a very bad experience there. I gave the test twice they cost me $110 and as mentioned on the website the warm up of an hour it's completely wrong they just gave a warm of 20 minutes. The examiner had to fail you no matter what as they have to complete the quota for failing road tests. They never fail their own students who pay $600 for the course as then they would lose the customers. However they take out on the adults drivers like me who are not aware of the system are new in the country and want to give the test earlier. It's better to wait and give the test directly through RMV . Secondly I got very racist remarks from the examiner and when I said him that he's was being racist on his face he suspended my learners permit for 90 days. He used his authority to satisfy his personal anger and himself. I stood up for not being bullied by power and authority and he punished me for it. They have the same examiner always as I thought that the second time I will get a different examiner because my first experience with this rude arrogant full of himself and racist examiner was not so good. He said to me that it's not his fault that he was born in this country and he knows this language suggesting that he was superior and better than me. Then he said I can't learn 42 languages for you people. And That I need to learn all the terminology. I was there to give my driving skills test and not my English language skills. I have complaint against him so that poor immigrants like us cant be bullied by authority and power . Further when I asked the best driving school to give me the name of the examiner first they refuse and then said that it's Micheal and they don't know his last name. How can it be possible that the school conducts road test by the same examiner every time and they don't know his last name so they lied to me . Then when I asked them to give me the name of their sponsor as he was the witness to all this they refused to give me his name too. This school is just making money out of the pockets of adult drivers because when the person not their student is failed he/she asks for the second date and so on. So be aware. Should be renamed WORST DRIVING SCHOOL, INC. Extremely unprofessional - all fees have been paid, road test taken utilizing their own service and my daughter still does not have her license - REPEATED phone calls to try to get this matter taken care of with NO response to phone calls or email. You can NEVER get anyone on the phone - always have to leave a message. We now have to pay again at the RMV in order for my daughter to be able to drive and get put on our insurance policy. read more

We had very positive experience (after a bad one at that large establishment in West Boylston everyone goes to). We just needed to get our kids drivers tests. My kids learned a lot in one hour warm-up and both passed the test on first try. It was easy to get scheduled quickly. Mr. Pelletier always called back the evening of the day we left a message (unlike the phone tag problems at the Other Place). He also picked them up at our home. The manager Mr. paltier is extremely unprofessional . I entered the best driving school car and received attitude as soon as I buckled my seatbelt . He requested that I show him my permit and give him a fee of 110 dollars. As I pulled out my permit I told him that I would like to receive one 30 min practice session and I would take another the following day before my road test . He told me that I owe him a fee for not making my previous session and not calling to cancel . That was no problem I didn't mind paying but I felt a little skeptical because he did not mention the fee over the phone prior to us meeting up . I told him that I could pay it and I would just need to run upstairs to get my mothers card. I came back down and my mother requested that I should see documentation stating that there is a fee when you miss a class and to ask for a receipt when I was finishing driving. When I entered Mr.Paltier's car again I had my mothers card in my hand and he suggested we proceed to a bank. I responded and asked if it was fine if I could see documentation stating that I owe a fee and if it was also fine to see a receipt upon completion of today's session. He replied by saying " you are giving me problems already , get out of the car". Confused I looked at him not expecting that response . And then he repeated his self again "can you please get out the car , you are giving me problems. I replied by saying "if I did owe a fee there should have been a way you could have informed me over the phone when we discussed driving twice . And if I do owe a fee there should definitely be documentation in the office or in the car stating the requirements or fee's enforced after you miss a class". He looked at me and said can you please get out of my car. If he is the manager of the Worcester best driving school he is not representing this organization in a positive way. It seems as if he was trying to con me or get extra money from me . It is reasonable for someone who work's for there money to look at verification if not at least a receipt when making a payment for ANYTHING . I expected to learn not to be treated unfair and it seems like it's a part of discrimination as well . I think that best driving school is a very good school to get your license at. I took driving lessons there for about two months and I never had any issues. Mr. bellatiere and his wife are both very nice and respectful people. You wont meet his wife until the day of the road test but she is very nice as well. I don't understand all these other reviews. The school is very helpful and he is dedicated on helping you improve your driving and he will work with you until you pass the road test. I myself did not pass the first time because my nerves got the best of me :( However Mr. Bellitiere will continue to work and do everything he can to make sure you pass the road test next time. I liked it there because he was very patient with you, and I have been to other driving schools in the past years attempting to get my license, and what I noticed is that other driving schools will tell you that you need to find someone outside of the school to practice with. Not everybody has that luxury, but best driving school didn't even mention that once and I really liked that about them. There convent because they'll work around your schedule and come pick you up and drop you off at home or work. You do have to call them the night before to make an appointment but he usually gets back to you in a good amount of time, the same day. I did pass my second go around :) and proud to say I have my license and car now :) I highly recommend this school to anyone who is serious about getting there license because best driving school will work with you and help you every step of the way read more
