The old man owner is very knowledgeable and always helpful. The packed shelves offer the you the opportunity to see, touch and find what you are looking to buy; unlike the larger neighborhood lumber stores where one feels intimidated for not knowing the jargon. Support local businesses! First purchase was paint for my bedroom. They have color samples right when you walk in door. And after you choose your preferred color card. Go to counter, there is usually a line. Counter guys are really knowledgeable and helpful. Just don't be an ass! Store is full of everything for your house and home. Anyway counter guy got the right tint base and mixed color into base. The paint they carry is Valspar. Haven't painted yet lol. Price for 1 gallon tinted was approx $55. Oh btw before purchasing I checked prices. And was reasonable compared to online costs. Online doesn't offer 100s of color choices. Recently needed some touch up paint for my parents home. And can was 31.5 oz at $20 with tinted base. Will be using this store for all my basic home needs. The store is open Monday to Saturday 7 AM to 5 PM.

Even if they had it nobody at Home Depot would bother to check. I called on the phone and the person who answered was very helpful and polite. I explained the part and he said he thought he had it. When I came to the store and showed the washer. He asked if I called on the telephone and I said yes. His name was Ray and it took him all of 1 minute and he came back with the correct washer. When I asked how much it was he said $1. I was a little embarrassed as I ran out of the house without any money so I asked if I could use my credit card. He smiled and said don't worry about it! That's so rare today and I said I will be back for other things and will give him the $1 as a matter of principle. It so happens I went to a bakery across the street that only took cash so I went to an ATM, made a withdrawal and stopped back to pay Ray. He also helped me with a kitchen cabinet hinge which I was surprised that they had. The store is large, carries a great selection of plumbing supplies, including, toilets, tile, faucets and just about everything you can think of. I read the one other review on the business and was surprised Richard gave them only 3 stars which may have been because of the news network they play. REALLY?? Everyone spoke perfect English, was welcoming, friendly and eager to help. The price look good and high would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs. I will definitely be back.

I really wish I remembered the name of the worker who helped me but he was a tall, dark, 40ish year old man if that narrows it down. He was so knowledgeable about the different types of wood flooring and was so eager to help. He probably spent about an hour with us. I really wanted to place an order because of him but the smart thing for me to do was to keep shopping around before going all in. I was able to find even lighter wood flooring at the shop next door, so I ended up going with them instead.

I was told by my contractor that the floor I bought would buckle with temperature changes. I was instructed to get a floor that was waterproof and not flexible. I call LL flooring and ask about the return policy. They told me that they are rebranding and will no longer be called LL Flooring but lumber liquidators instead and they are cannot lookup orders for exchanges. The policy on their website is a 90 days for exchanges or returns. I'm within the 90 day window. The next day they change the policy online. I decide to put the flooring in my car to take it back. I looked up the store hours to make sure they were open and they were closed on 10/6/24. I filed a dispute with my credit card. I also heard that they change the connecting mechanism of the tiles every 5-10 years. So when you look for 1-2 pieces to replace, you have the replace the whole floor. If you buy from them make sure you keep 2-3 extra boxes in storage ready for that day.

If I was a tradesman I would not utilize their tools, the quality is hit and miss. If I'm on a job site I need to know that my tools will work properly. For the majority of the Fix it public, the tools are cost effective and function. They have a mailing list and they will send you coupons and deals quite often. I have a location close to my house and work so when the need arises I can't get what I need. This week I needed a specific ratchet set for my Jeep and yes they have it at the best price and available. I love the fact that with every visit you can get something free with purchase. 2 gripes, the lines at the register are always long and again the quality of their tools isn't quite up to my standards. If I had a crew of apprentices who were learning, Harbor Freight is a great spot for them to start.
