Poor management , website not reliable, states TV inventory available in one hour for pickup and when I got there they didnt have it. This is the second time it has happened to me within a year. Closed more often than they're open and don't answer the phone. Every time you walk in they always pester you and ask you what you're coming in for and when you tell them they generally don't have much help. ( Honestly one of the main reasons I don't come here more often, you can't just pop in to browse and look around ) ~ "If you want to find something in-store then use the app." I find the value in this store is a necessity for a specific electronic component That's usually why I come here, especially when the availability doesn't add up with the app anyway so it's a gamble if I can even get the thing I want. So just pray that the thing that you want is in stock, and on sale for it to be at a reasonable price. I've heard good things about the Geek Squad at this location but every time I've asked them for service they say "We don't do that here" ( even though I've called over the phone to confirm the services before visiting the store. So there is either a miscommunication between the phone service or the store isn't holding to its standards, either way, I've lost my patience trying at this point. ) Overall thoughts Pros: - They have electronics ( sometimes ) - The store is clean Cons: - Their online inventory seldomly matches the store inventory - The interaction with store staff sometimes feels forced and aggressively friendly - It is impossible to ask questions, as usually the question leads to a false expectation or a dead end - Some of the quality of the presented computers is a bit questionable - Even after guarding the entrance and a strong security presence, and with the product being locked up, you still can't browse the store when looking at the product you intend to purchase, almost forcing you to buy piecemeal. read more

If you read my previous review, you know I'm not a big fan of Best Buy. But, I also want to be fair and acknowledge when somebody does a great job. The other day I went into Best Buy thinking I was just going to do some research. I ended up talking to Cole. He was great to work with. He understood what I was looking for, answered my questions, and showed me the best products for what I needed. I was in and out, with what I needed, in about 20 minutes. This kid could sell ice to an Eskimo (and as a believer in the capitalist system and the free markets, that is the highest praise I can give him!). If you are looking for a Christmas present and are not sure what you need, see if you can get a hold of Cole at Best Buy and he'll point you in the right direction. read more

I cannot recommend Best Buy because of their lousy customer service. When calling about a repair that is being handled by a third party, the Best Buy web site does not report the progress of the repair, so you need to call the store, Geek Squad, to get information. You cannot get a human being and you get stuck in automated attendant answering. When you call the Geek Squad 800 number you get an "associate" somewhere in the world who gives you the store phone number (which I already called) and they are as helpful as Mammaries on a Bull. This is mainly for Andy, the car stereo guy. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs for scheduling issues and he was easy to get ahold of. My truck took longer than expected and he still busted it out and got it done before our weekend trip. He price matched some items that I had found cheaper on amazon, he was honest about me not needing the $200 Total tech support that one of the associates had talked me into getting. So I got to refund that, and he called me a few days after to tell me I was overcharged for something and he refunded it to my card. Best experience I've had with any type of vehicle related service. Ford was going to charge $1300 for a factory radio and I got a whole new system for under $800. Person who discuss home "routers" really didn't know much about the technology at all. But then again, they probably get no training and/or support. Let me just start with we have never had an issue with this store until today. For the past 3 days my husband has been calling into the service center for Best Buy to resolve an issue we had with an over the range microwave we had bought during the quarantine period back in March. Our old microwave died with no way to fix it so we had no choice except to buy a new one. We wanted a new over the range microwave to replace the old one and we were so excited Best Buy had the best option and price for what we needed/ wanted. We bought a warranty with it just Incase there were any hiccups. At the time of purchasing we had to do it online and they did not offer installation due to Covid, completely understandable. Please, again note, installation was not available and not offered at this time. We didn't have a choice. So, as I said, we purchased the warranty just Incase we needed it. We received our microwave in a timely fashion and went about installing it ourselves. We get the microwave installed, it's looking good, we go to try it out and it doesn't heat. The heating element was dead upon arrival. So, we called Geek Squad and they advised on what we had to do and noted our account so we could have our microwave replaced and have a installation tech come out once available. Here we are today. My husband had an awful time trying to get in touch with someone through Best Buy services to get this matter taken care of even though we were assured back in March all was noted and would be taken care of since we had a warranty. For three days my husband had to play phone tag with a representative from Best Buy just be told we would have to pay an installation fee for them to come out and take out the dead microwave and install the new one. My husband questioned the representative several times as to why we had to pay an installation fee when we didn't even have the choice to have the microwave installed in the first place and had our account noted that we were to have a installation tech come out and take the old one and put in a new one, no problem. The representative unfortunately couldn't answer him and told my husband to call to local stores to have them wave the installation fee and it shouldn't be a problem. My husband called Best Buy in Tridelphia, WV, this is the closest Best Buy to us, and he had an awful experience with the manager on duty, Justin. Justin was extremely unprofessional, uncaring of the consumers needs and down right arrogant while speaking with my husband. My husband explained our situation to Justin and explained to him how the call center told him to call to our local Best Buy to have the installation fee waved. Justin's response to my husband is as follows, "it's illegal to give a free installation, that it didn't matter what the call center said, he wouldn't honor it, I won't give you a free installation". When my husband asked to speak to his superior his response was, "he's not here and I'm not giving you his information, call back at another time." My husband asked to simply speak to someone else in authority at the store and Justin refused. First of all I work in customer service and my husband works in customer service. You do not treat a customer poorly, ever! I would be fired if I ever spoke to a customer in this manner. We have been faithful customers of Best Buy for 10+ years. We have bought many of appliances and electronics from Best Buy and have never been treated this way. I'm extremely disappointed in Justin's behavior, tone of voice and poor attitude today. He should not be a manager nor any type of authority figure. As for his response to an installation fee being waved is illegal, that's 100% untrue. We have never paid for installation with Best Buy! Ever! My husband works for a very large technology company that waves installation fees all the time. At the end of the day, Justin was wrong and treated a returning customer very poorly. We will not be returning to this Best Buy location as long as Justin is a "manager" here. I can not and will not recommend this Best Buy location to my family and friends any longer. read more

I have shopped this store several times in the past 4 months. All of the associates are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. This past Monday I purchased a Lenovo Laptop after going there specifically looking for an HP. Thats all I have ever owned. Anyway, after about 30 minutes, I could not make up my mind and almost left the store. I didn't catch the salestech's name but not only did he convince me to purchase a better equipped Lenovo, he save me about $350.00. Thanks BestBuy! read more

I have been to this store twice in the last couple months, first to purchase a vacuum cleaner, and again to purchase a TV and sound bar. On both occasions the sales associates (Ben the first time and Kevin the second time) were very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. My wife and I aren't the most tech-savvy people and aren't into all the latest electronic gadgets, so we're usually apprehensive as we walk into the store for these type of purchases. Some sales associates have a way of making you feel inferior even if that isn't their intent because they don't understand that everyone doesn't know what they know about these kind of products. We did not feel that way either time we visited this store. It was also nice that you had the products we were looking for in stock, on display, and at a good price. So for both of our visits, we left with the items we came for and feeling confident about the purchases. read more
