I'm a long time fan of Best Buy! For my YouTube and podcasting cameras, mics, and other accessories, I have always found deals and excellent customer service, which has helped increase my visits here. For example, around Black Friday the deals on the new Apple MacBook Pros with the M4 chip were so amazing that I found it was time purchase one to replace my 2018 version. At $300 lower and the Apple Care that comes with it because I belong to the Geek Squad probably saved me up to $500. I also purchased a gimbal for videography at a greatly reduced price on Black Friday as well. I actually did it the smart way. Order first on the Best Buy app (create an account), then either have it sent to you or go pick it up at the store when it's ready. The delivery service is stellar. Don't fear using it if you want to go that way. Never had any issues and the drivers have been super courteous too. Also, if you shop frequently at Best Buy, make sure you join the Geek Squad. It offers great advantages to serve and other 2 year warranties for free that will extent the life of your purchases. This remains an excellent Best Buy store. This one has always had great service, super courtesy when assisting customers, and if they don't have the product at the time of your visit, they will help you through the process to get it. Proud to give this Best Store a second review! It felt good to be here back when I first reviewed it a few years - and not a thing has changed about it being top notch electronics venue and a continued favorite for acquiring new gear for my social media channels! Recommend: VERY HIGH

The defective MacBook that I returned

I was racially profiled by the employees in the Apple section. I came to the store today to return a defective refurbished MacBook Air that I had purchased yesterday. The computer screen kept glitching so I decided to return it and possibly purchase a new MacBook Air instead. The employees in the Apple section were very dry and it seemed like one of the employees was security or loss prevention. ( older white man and younger Latino man). I am not sure why someone would assume I would steal. Idk I guess because I am black. It's crazy because I had just spent $600 on a computer from Best Buy that didn't even work. If you are black I wouldn't purchase from this store. They are extremely racist towards black people. I will buy a MacBook Air from the Apple store instead.

My husband had a great experience television shopping at Best Buy! We were in the market after our living room television stopped working. I am an avid LG user and my husband is a Samsung lover. We received help from Keara and Armand who are the two Samsung experts at Best Buy that assisted us in picking the best television that met all our needs. They demonstrated all the features the televisions in their back room. They answered all our questions regarding the different sound bars and the rear speakers. My husband and I don't know much about televisions or the Samsung brand but after we left Best Buy we were better equipped to make an informed decision on what television to get. We then drove to two other competitors stores such as Walmart and the Nex (the navy exchange store) and we received the best service at Best Buy. We didn't feel rushed. Best Buy had the item we needed in stock allowing us to leave with the television we wanted the same day. I also have to add that Best Buy had the cheapest price and they also price match! There is also a ton of other televisions on sale! You should totally check out their store!

Staff was friendly and greeted with enthusiasm but there's was very few options and most things were unavailable. Quite a let down when looking for cameras and/or electronics.

In a fleeting moment of anger following a very minor disagreement on Friday evening, I placed my iPhone face down on a table a little too hard, and what followed was utter devastation for me. My phone screen, although not cracked, went to half-screen, then it went gray, then it went black and did not come back up. Oh no. In the midst of the pandemic did I just kill my iPhone? OMG!!! What was I to do?? After spending over an hour on the phone with Apple Saturday morning and following multiple "tries" to fix the problem, I was told my phone was dead. Black screen of death. A brick. I could take it to a service provider (nearest one was St. Simons Island because the Jax Apple Store was closed due to the pandemic!!!). In doing so I'd also have to erase the phone then remove it from my account. This is fine, IF I HAD BACKED UP MY PHONE with iTunes (like I was supposed to). Nope. This is fine if I used the Cloud. Nope. Lesson learned loud & clear. TWO years of my data, including notes, pictures and videos of my kids during birthdays, Christmas, school plays, etc. was LOST. Yes, I cried. I prayed. And I probably cried again. But something told me not to erase it. So I refused. Despite being told by THREE people it was what I was going to have to do. I researched online. Could my data be recovered? My phone would still ping when checked, and I could shut it down (home button locked) and get it back up (home button unlocked) even though it didn't register as online, and I couldn't get it to connect to iTunes, I had hope. Didn't I? Surely I wouldn't lose two whole years of memories. It turns out I did have hope!!! I found LifeLine Repairs after searching for data recovery in Jax and sent a message to them (through Yelp! whoo hoo) regarding my phone. Daniel quickly responded that it might just need a screen change, so I should bring it in for diagnosing. What? Did I hear that right? That's it? I didn't "break" the phone but I just messed up the screen. Really??!!! My hope escalated as high as the Eiffel Tower, and I just about burnt dinner running around the house telling my family my phone might be saved. One thing though...they were now closed until Monday. So I had to wait....hope...pray...all through Saturday evening and all day on Sunday. I can do this! I had hope. I went in on Monday Morning and Daniel checked. He didn't know I was praying in the lobby. He came back out and said all it needed was a screen replacement. I teared up and said I could cry (but I was not gonna let him see me cry, I'm an ugly crier). Anyway, back to the point...he fixed my phone within 20 mins for less than the cost of what my insurance would've charged me to replace a cracked screen and also less than what a replacement phone would've cost me. I could've professed my love right there on the spot (and maybe I did express over and over how much I appreciated him and that he made my day). Instead of professing love though I did promise to give him a worthy review. So here it is, in detail. DO NOT LOSE HOPE at least until Daniel says so! He surely provided a life line (see what I did there?) for me when I was in my own Lion's Den and I cannot thank him enough. He and LifeLine Repairs will undoubtedly receive many referrals from me to anyone who mentions a problem with their phone, and I hope if you have a phone issue and took the time to read all of this you will run to LifeLine to get yours checked. (Side note: I came straight home and backed up my phone so all is right in my world again. Thanks again so much Daniel!!!)

Honest shop, the technician Dan here is extremely knowledgeable and very transparent about the…read morerepairs. I forgot my appointment to drop of my laptop and he still offered to see and repair my laptop the same day. That's the kind of customer service you can expect here. Big fan of the JAGS, and he loves supporting us military folks. Dan you're the man!
