The store deserves a much better rating based on the great service I received today from Eric who's part of the Project Team!!! I headed back to the Apple and computer section and thankfully he was on duty that day. I bought a DJI Mini 3 pro drone for my home inspection work. Salesperson asked me if I wanted to buy a 2 year protection plan for additional $199. Thinking I am new to this so I decided purchase it along with the drone. Now that I my drone is damaged after 18 months, I came to best buy and claim the replacement. They told me the protection plan was canceled due to TotalTech membership (which according to them, cost $194 per year) was cancel. I told them what does $199 2-year protection plan has to do with membership of $194 per year. Also, their salesperson did not tell me this when I made the purchase. They still don't want to replace my drone no matter how hard I tried to talk to them. My best friend, at the same time I bought my drone, bought directly from DJI with the same protection plan price got his replaced without any issues, or additional membership charge from DJI. I am googling up another drone to purchase but I will eliminate all searches relate to Best Buy. read more

I waited 2+ hours on the phone in total calling 4 times, and got to talk to 6 people on the last call i got connected to, and nothing he would do or suggest or help rather making appointment. Oh the fun didn't stop there, the attitude, and rude questions back and forth and also judging me for not giving him info the first time he asked just because i wondering why he needed that in the first place,, and he was giving me grace. I was a lost soul that he was taking his precious time out to help me. I could have done that myself. GREAT Customer service. Best ever!!! Next, I did the chat support. Amazing grace/miracle happened. I waited 5 minutes or so for each respond, it felt like 10-15 actually, after dedicating hours to fix a phone i sadly bought here. AND.....(Drum roll)..."There is a technical issue so we cannot send you your script." and "apology for inconvenience". Wonder how many scripts and rewards (that cost digital images of the cute logo) they would have sent if I rated 10/10. Like many of you, I prefer to pick up large items at the store instead of having them shipped home hoping that the transportation companies used among BestBuy stores are better than commercial postal services. I sent two monitors to this store and one of them had a huge hole that literally split the box in half like it was ran over by a forklift. Honestly kind of flabbergasted with this one. Saw online Best Buy was selling this Nintendo switch game for $10. I ran up to the store and grabbed the game and took it to the front. They rang me up and asked for $35. I showed them their own website having the game on sale for $10 and the deal was valid for another 20 minutes. Was then told that's an online only order and you would have to come and pick the game up from the store. I said "I'm literally at the store now and pulled the item myself, showed you the correct pricing advertised on your website, and you can't honor it?" Was immediately told no because they have to go through a whole process to pull the order. I again said I pulled the order for you why can you not honor this price? The cashier did not have an answer. I then asked if Best Buy priced matched local competitors and was told "yes of course we do". So why don't you honor your own pricing online? No answer. I use this Bestbuy when I am in the area of if I need a particular product that my closest one is out of. I don't know why they aren't laid out in a similar fashion? It would make it easy to shop but since it isn't, I learned my way around after visiting a few times. They seem top always have stock of the different items that I need. Its just not as close as I would like to my home. They always have open box TVs for sale in the TV section. All stores are different so you have to visit to find out. Not much to say as if you been to one you have been to all. The service has always been good and they are extremely helpful. So i'm updating my review from a 2 star to 1 star. I have finally given up on the store, I REALLY tried. Spent THOUSANDS of dollars into this place, which do they care? No. I swear they must have a low IQ, ignorant, self-centered, egotistic, moronic preference when hiring these people, from management on down. I spent almost 40 minutes in this place waiting to get help. I already knew what I freggin' wanted! They didn't have to do anything, no explaining, no answering questions, all they had to do was come over and unlock the stupid case to get my item! I was going to buy TWO PSP Vitas and games along with it, but they missed out. Finally after 20 minutes I found someone all the way in the cell phone department, which that person was chatting away retardedly with another co-worker, after a few seconds of looking at me like deers caught in the headlights, they told me just wait a few mins their tied up. I looked at them like, um... what the heck are you two doing? I just need a stupid key. But that didn't do any good, after a few minutes more, I finally found a manager who appeared to be even more clueless than the minions that worked there. I finally gave up, and left the store, I told the idiotic worker that greets you at the door to let their manager know they missed out on a purchase because of the ignorance, and what did he do? Shrugged and said "my bad." After calling later and being hold for over 20 minutes on the phone and on hold to their corporate office for the same amount of time, I gave up. I am thoroughly convinced that if the anti-christ is here amongst us right now, he owns the Best Buy corp. This is place is everything unholy about retail stores, the service is terrible, the products are over priced when compared to your Targets, or even Amazon. I hate this place with a passion. I wish no ill will against anyone associated with this store, but I pray this place goes bankrupt. I miss the days of Circuit City, and Frys Electronics is way to chaotic and far to go to. Asked for a manager and the manager ,Garret, would not listen to my side and asked me to leave the store. Sided with the employee. I came in to the store in Cypress Texas today to buy a laptop. I was prepared to drop close to 3k. The middle eastern female in the computer department was extremely rude to us. Even another customer noticed her being rude and commented to us. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years with this store. I will never step foot in another bestbuy again. This location is easy to get to right off of 290. Unfortunately the customer service is pretty hit or miss. We went right after Christmas to buy a TV and I was asked if I need help right away. The guy answered my husband's questions about two of the TV's and we ended up with a Sony and getting a great deal on it. He took us to an area with chairs and a desk and made check out super easy. He wrapped the TV in plastic wrap for us since it was sprinkling and we were in a truck. The next visit a few days later, we had to search for someone to help us with Apple Watches. There were employees around but they seemed to be on computers or talking to each other. Hit or miss with customer service but they have great deals all the time. read more

We purchased a new microwave from this location. Ordered it online, picked it up the next day via curbside. When we unboxed it after bringing it home, we found it to be pretty dented. Now, obviously we are unable to use it. We can't take it back to exchange it for another 4 days because of our work schedules. It's just a large inconvenience looking at the fact that we are now without a microwave for another few days and we have to carve out time to drive back and complete the exchange. It would have been appreciated if the staff would have looked at the appliance before selling it. Would have saved us a lot of trouble. read more

I shop here a lot and have never had an instance where I could not find a knowledgeable associate to assist with selecting the right product for my needs - but I do avoid high traffic shopping days like around holidays. I don't even know how this company is still in business. I brought my computer into the geek square for Diagnosis. They tell me my laptop has crashed and all they can do is hardware recovery. They take my $50 and send it off to their corporate geek squad. Then I get an email stating my computer is fixed and on its way back. I call to find out what they are talking about. They proceed to tell me how they just replaced my hard drive which is not what I had asked them to do by any means. Then two eeeks later I get an email stating my hard drive is being sent to the manufacturing company to be destroyed. Still no data retrieval. I call corporate to find out what is going on. Well all of a sudden no one knows but they will find out. We're on week 3. I tell them I want my computer back. They tell me could be 2-3 weeks to return to the store. PATHETIC! I will NEVER EVER EVER go back to Best Buy. No wonder they are on the verge of going out of business. read more
