This is my go to store when I need a cable, cord, or adapter and can't wait for Amazon to deliver. Despite sometimes having higher prices than Amazon or EBay they often fill online orders in less than a hour and I most recently had an order filled in about 15 minutes. This means I get what I need in a timely manner. I have also bought open box and refurbished items there at a discount and thus save money. They will gladly sell you a power cord for a device that is 3x overpowered for the device and then get an atitude with you for saying as much. Never offering to fix the device they destroyed. Do NOT buy from. Best But!!! I bought a washing machine from them which was installed April 21, 2023. Well the delivery guys damaged my bathroom floor. The insurance company (sedgwick.com) which handles Best Buy's damage claim denied the claim because the guys told them the damage was already there which it most certainly was NOT. The store I got it from said there was nothing they could do. Since this is the way that Best Buy chooses to handle customer service which is to say they don't care one whit about their customers me and everyone I know will never ever shop there again. This also includes my manager who said he will be informing everyone in this trailer park not to shop there as they themselves will be responsible for any damages that Best Buy employees cause. read more

I will never shop at Best Buy again. Ordered a computer for my son for Christmas on Black Friday and got notice 10 days before Christmas that it would not be available until January 12th! They wouldn't honor the black Friday price on another computer and so I had to spend more than I wanted to on a comparable product. What a sham. I can't for the life of me remember the assistants name. I think his name began with a J. He had a bit of the nerd look about him and wore glasses. My words by far, THE best customer service assistant I've ever come accross I'm a store. I'm looking into the a6000 and an all in one. I've literally been researching months. I've had bad demos at other best buy stores that led to my indecisiveness. This guy knew what he was doing and if he didn't he would figure it out in seconds. He had a no n.s approach. Not only that he helped me evaluating all in one's and he told me some cool new features about windows 10....j thought I was educated on technology that appealed to me. Stopped by this Best Buy while moving across the country from California to Maine. We were interested in purchasing two Kindles. My mom went into the store and purchased two Kindle Fires. We opened up one of the Kindles and it did not turn on. We decided to turn around and return it because the next Best Buy was quite far away. I realized that my mom purchased two Kindle fires, we are new to Kindles and we were interested in the "original style" (come to find out its called the Paperwhite version) the Kindle Fire seemed to just be a tablet and not an e-reader. We both already have two tablets so we weren't interested in having another. Reading on a tablet or phone with a LCD screen was hard on our eyes. I decided to go in with her to make sure we picked out the right ones; we were going to return both the Fires to get the ones we originally wanted. When we walked in we told the two gentleman in the front that we didn't want a tablet, we wanted a Kindle. They told us that the Kindle Fire was the only Kindles that are made now. I was a bit confused because I just looked on Amazon and saw that there was the Paperwhite version for sale (but I wasn't sure what the name of it was at this time). I brought up the point that wouldn't this just be the same as using an iPad and using the Kindle App? He said, "You mean the Kindle Books app? Kindle doesn't work on Apple products, its an android system." He also said that the Kindle Fire was the only Kindle that Best Buy sold. His tone during all this made me feel quite stupid for being confused about this information and the other employee laughed when I asked "So this is the only kind of Kindle?" I was honestly quite confused and frustrated so I returned to the car. My mom wanted to return the broken Kindle Fire and get a new one. When I went to the car I looked up the information I was told by the employee. First, Kindle still does make the "Paperwhite" version. Second, Best Buy does sell the Kindle Paperwhite. Third, Kindle does work on Apple products. Later we released that they did not give us back the original receipt so we could return the case and the two Kindle Fires, which we plan on doing, after finding all this information out. I have NEVER written a negative review on Yelp ever, but the whole experience made me feel dumb inside the store and frustrated once I found out the information I was told was incorrect. read more

Mobile folks are not knowledgeable or helpful at all. I was looking for a few minutes in the mobile section for a case for my phone. During the whole time none of the mobile employees asked me if I needed help. Go into the other sections, such as computers and televisions and you usually get asked right away. Not here. When I finally did ask someone for help, he explained they didn't carry anything for my device, even though it's relatively new and still sold by the carrier. He said they focus on selling more popular items such as the "Macintosh iPhone" you've got to be living under a rock if you're an employee who is suppose to sell cell phones and says such a thing. When I asked him if he really meant Apple, he corrected me again saying it was Macintosh. Not trusting him and his credibility, I continued to search the rest of the store without his assistance looking for what I was looking for. Turns out he was right in that they didn't carry anything specific for my less than two year old HTC phone. The only cases that fit were universal cases but I think I'll take my business to a different Best Buy with more knowledge mobile employees or to Amazon. Want a phone accessory? Order it online, at a different Best Buy Location or at your Verizon/ATT/Carrier store. Hiring an employee who has a clear lack of knowledge of what he or she is selling is completely unacceptable. read more

Absolutely terrible! I went in to purchase a vent phone clip with the magnet, but before I even left the parking lot was back in to return it as it didn't even stick to the phone or case. When I went back into the store I was told that I needed to talk to geek squad! Mind you besides insulting my intelligence, I am not sure how smart you have to be to follow simple directions. Even then, geek squad told me it was defective at which point Douglas helped me get a steelie which worked great; however, it rang up $40 even though the price tag said $16.99 upon which I was told he could match Amazon price of $34 even though the Best Buy website shows $16.99. My wife picked up the truck and did not do a full inspection of the glass, a week later when I had time to inspect the tint job I noticed there were bubbles in the tint and there was a spot by the drivers side window where the tint did not stick and is not folded over. Very happy with my new computer! Excellent customer service, easy to return if not satisfied, price will be matched and mine was adjusted within two weeks after I bought it because there was a sale. Office Max wanted 15% restock fee if I decided to return a computer and the box was opened. Best Buy allowed return with no restock fee and helped me find the right product for me. read more

I have shopped at the Best Buy in Casper, WY since the store opened. I have never been impressed with the store but over the past couple of years, I have been very disappointed with the store. I consider myself to be a tech nerd since I have become an adult. I have done a lot of research on computers, phones, TVs, gaming consoles, etc. I have overheard and have been told information over the past couple of years by the employees at Best Buy that is extremely biased and misleading. It seems as though the employees at this Best Buy are anti-Apple, regardless of the product. I have heard numerous employees tell customers that the only people dumb enough to buy a Mac or iPad are 'Apple Sheep'. I know many people that use Apple products that need the software for specific programs/apps. Millions of people use the Apple 'ecosystem' and do not need to be told they would be dumb if they bought an Apple product. Additionally, these employees stated there is no benefit to using Apple products, which could not be further from the truth. I have called them out on the misleading information and they told me that I was wrong. One other frustrating factor is the lack of products that they carry at this specific store. They don't carry Apples #1 selling accessory; AirPods, they don't have very many iPhones in stock, when I wanted to buy a Dell XPS laptop, or a Razer PC, they told me they do not carry those in store and that I should just order one on their site and return it if I wasn't satisfied. Why have a retail store for me to buy products at if you're going to make me buy the products online anyway? That is why I have Amazon Prime and from now on won't even deal with the local Best Buy. The Walmart across the street has a better selection of products for that matter. read more

I could definitely list a variety of reasons why this facility is ridiculously and most obviously mismanaged!!!! I purchased a remote start nearly a year ago, paid for the install!!! And you f'n guessed it!! I am still waiting to have it installed!! I thought to return it. As you have already concluded, if you have had the grave experience of dealing with these sub par people, the manager wouldn't come out to speak with me nor refund my money!! Instead I was offered store credit??? like I would dare purchase a dang thing at that place or any other f'n BB!!! Dear Best Buy in Casper, I haven't been this disappointed since seeing Han Solo die in Star Wars the force awakens. First off when the Nintendo switch came out in 2017, Best Buy advertised it was releasing it at 6am. Come to find out by the rude employee that they're opening during their normal hours at 10am. They are fricken liars. The second annoying thing they have done was put merchandise on the shelves that weren't released yet. This was stupid because I found a keychain I liked and when trying to purchase it they told me I couldn't because it wasn't released yet. Don't fricking put shiz on the shelves when it can't be purchased! (Btw I went on amazon and bought the same exact keychain five minutes after this event). Last thing that makes me hate Best Buy more than I hate myself is their online orders. I had ordered a laptop online after I called to see if it was in stock and it said it would be ready for pick up in 1 hour. I waited for the stupid email to tell me it was ready for TWO hours and so I went in to see what the deal was and the guy I talked to was fricken rude and told me to wait for the email. So I went back to my car and an HOUR later I got an email saying it was out of stock. I fricken called to ask if it was in stock and they said yes. On the Best Buy website it had said it was in stock. In conclusion, the the Best Buy in Casper Wyoming makes me want to kill myself. Their service is awful and slower than my grandma. A friend of mine had a virus infection in her computer last week. She took it to the Best Buy Geek Squad for help. They charged her lots of money, of course. Their answer to the virus problem? They erased her ENTIRE hard drive! Now she has been trying to get the manager to talk to her but no luck there. There may be an independent business that can help her get most of her files back, but there's no guarantee. So- not only is Best Buy a ripoff but their Geek Squad is a ripoff and dangerous and doesn't give a damn. Too bad the rating system here only goes down to one positive star. I gave Best Buy at the Casper mall a 1 star rating because they have no space for 0 stars. I am disabled and have shopped at that mall over the years since I was a child whenever I come to town. This time I noticed all of the handicap spots were replaced by "reserved for fuel efficient vehicles" signs at Best Buy. When a call was placed to the manager of the Casper Best Buy he outright lied and said this was the decision of the mall owner. If that were the case the signs wouldn't have the resounding yellow best buy tag stamping their approval of fuel efficient vehicles and their disdain for the disabled. Since my experience I've googled the issue and many Best Buys across the nation are doing this as well. Not only is the Casper Best Buy discriminating against handicapped folks everywhere, but they won't even acknowledge they are doing it and lying about who did it when they have what amounts to a signed confession right on the sign. I will not shop in any Best Buy that has those signs; in fact I will park in those spaces with my big ass truck and my handicap placard and use their store as an entrance. read more

My husband and I bought a Samsung Galaxy tablet from Best Buy in Casper. Aurora, the sales woman who took care of us stayed well past her getting off time to make sure our tablet was connecting properly. Another brand we purchased the week before wouldn't connect to the internet. She also wanted to make sure all of the old apps were transferred to our new device and even used her own cell time since the store internet was not downloading fast enough. She was cheerful as well, which makes the whole package for a sales person. read more

So my daughter was with her boyfriend at Best Buy in Casper so he could buy a PS4 and could not find one or get any help. After half an hour of being ignored while helping the countless other people get help as they came in, still no help. Her boyfriend got upset and got a little more loud. When asked what the problem was (finally) he calmed and explained what the issue was. They were still not helped, but treated like thieves and kicked out of the store. Six months later my daughter goes in and she is told very rudely to leave or the police would be contacted to escort her out. Mind you, she never, at any point, did anything to warrant being banned from the store. Austin (not sure if he is a manager) then proceeds to say he was threatened before (which was a lie), but no worries, she left as she was so rudely asked. I will never shop at this store again. This is a shame. There are several more people that will no longer give Best Buy in Casper WY their patronage either. She even called about it and was apologized to and told they hope she still shops there (from the first incident). Not only was Austin rude to her, he was quite a prick about it, as if he had all the power. Shame shame Best Buy for keeping employees such as this.
