Hoods refused to honor Toro's own warranty and charged me for labor and parts to repair it. They also charged me a $20 "service fee" for using a credit card. I will go back to Home Depot from now on for lower pricing and better service.

Service was terrible. Absolutely zero communication from them. Hoods had my lawn mower for 6…read moremonths, and not one call to update me. I had to initiate every update call. I needed belts and pulleys replaced, and some of the parts were out of stock. So, I patiently waited for 3 months, then called for an update. They had no idea when the parts would be in, so more waiting. Summer is winding down and still no mower. On one update call I was told the parts were in the mail. I called again a little over a week later and was told, they never received the parts. So, more waiting and no lawn mowing. Finally called this week on a Tuesday for an update, and low and behold, the parts were in, but the tech that was working on it, was off that day. So, I waited for 2 more days, and then called back. They were working on a different mower, and mine would be worked on next. After having my lawn mower for 6 months, mine should have been priority as soon as the parts came in. And the kicker, they charged over $100 more than the quoted me. A bill of $530. Now that summer is over, and I will not be using the mower, I asked them about the warranty on their work...I have 30 days. This place is a joke. Will never go back, and do not recommend.
