Troy focused on her, as I asked. She caught 12 nice rainbows spread out over the day. Troy has done this for ten years and it shows. He let us fish but was always putting us in the right place, teaching skills for that river, and having great conversations. Originally, we wanted a day on "the Mile", but the team convinced us to change. They were really right. The Mile's water was very low and close to unfishible. Their expertise and progressional approach saved our day. Thank you...

I'm from Georgia...spending a few weeks in WY fishing for trout. I stopped by the Ugly Bug Flyshop…read moreat the recommendation of our waitress at The Fort (thanks Addie.) Upon entering I was greeted by Mike. He spent several minutes explaining where I should fish and what flies to use. He circled the areas on a map to make things clear on where to fish. The store is tastefully decorated with a large selection of flyfishing related merchandise. It's in a great location, surrounded by shops and restaurants. Even though the shop is in "town" parking was not a problem at all. There is a city parking deck across the street but we were able to park on the street. I'd highly recommend The Ugly Bug Fly Shop....especially for visiting anglers who are not familiar with the area.

Overall my mountain bike experience wouldn't have been anywhere as fun in and around Casper without this shop and the helpful, friendly and knowledgeable employees. I'm an avid mountain biker, race several times per year and found myself in Casper do to a death in the family. Without time to pack my own kit I was relieved to find this shop and triple relieved to find halfway decent full suspension bikes at a great rental rate. Thanks guys! I'll be back!

I find out that they had, without my consent, put on their most expensive race tires and gave me a slight discount because they "had no other tires that would fit the bike ". WTF. Overcharging me by double, plus taking two days to change them is just absolutely ridiculous and horrible business practice. It doesnt end there.. As soon as i got home i realized the back tire was already flat. Had to load it up, drive all the way back, and let them know. No apology, just a 20 min wait to fix it again. Im super pissed about how they handled it. A phone call about the upcharge and lack of generic products would have saved me the time.. but instead i pay $95 and make three trips. I will go to Mountain Sports where I've always had great service from now on.

I show up and wait in line behind one customer buying a high-end bike. After a few minutes, I check out the helmets, then get back in line. A little while longer and I decide to walk around the store while I wait. Another customer is looking at clothes. Back to the line. Fifteen minutes have passed and not one word from anyone. Another employee comes from the back and starts helping clothing shopper, which is good because he was in the store before me. Twenty minutes now and clothing guy is going to check out. Other customer and employee finish transaction and chat about the world of biking. Employee comes around the counter and begins to stand next to me. "Hello, I called about some help with a bike?" is my cry for help, since I am clearly the one that is going to have to start this shindig. "Oh, sure. Let's have a look," he replies. "Yep there are a few problems, let me get my wrench." Awesome. I'm going to get help, but as the employee goes back to get his wrench he decides to help another customer who has walked in. Another customer then walks in, past me with a bike in tow. Other employee finishes checking out customer and greets the walk-in, beginning to help her with her bike. I wait another five minutes as the first employee continues to help the customer select and then ring-up a bike tube, while the second employee finishes up with the new customer and then proceeds to walk into the Narnia that is the back of the store. Customer with bike issues who was in the store for less than five minutes is now on her way out, as compared to my thirty minutes with absolutely no help (the employee's original ascertain that there are problems with my bike is only a confirmation of my already established state of existence - not helpful). She asks, "Can I get the door for you?" I say, "Yes." I pick up my bike and walk out - Mountain Sports helped me within thirty seconds of walking in. I won't be returning to Ragged Edge - terrible customer service.
