Spent 4 days on North Platt River in early September with guide Aidan . We did 4 different sections including the Miracle Mile. Aidan knew every run that we should put a fly in! He is great!! The fishing was great! My friend had little experience fishing moving water but Aidan had him catching fish with in mins. Would like to spend a lot more time with him on any body of water! We had a large group outing (14 people) and had a fantastic day fishing! We were able to divide into smaller groups and separate all along the river so we weren't all on top of one another. The people we scheduled with were communicative, easy to work with and accommodating. Most of us had never fly fished before and we all had success and want to go back next year! read more

Very organized, super knowledgeable and fun fly fishing guides. Our group enjoyed both Andy and Dustin as guides. I floated with Dustin. His comprehensive and entertaining explanations of the primary steps to FF made the day fun. I especially was impressed with his coaching of me while I carefully managed the trout from the hook set to the net landing. He and Andy definitely know the river and it's best spots. They were positive, helpful and professional. We caught fish and enjoyed the day because of them. Only two minor items I'd like CRFF to consider: having a shore lunch comprised of fresh fried trout, fried potatoes with onions and fruit. The other surprise was that our fishing trip ended at 2:30pm v. the 3:30pm time we were told when we made the reservation. If you don't hire a guide from crazy rainbow, then you're crazy! I can't even put into words how absolutely amazing this place is. I was with Kody for 2 days (sure he's beyond sick of me) but that dude is patient as sh$$ and I met Ben who is totally awesome and Addie who my father in law and the rest of the guys can't stop talking about - she's also the shi$ .... you definitely cannot go wrong with any of the guides at this place! Fantastic guided trip with clients with overnight stay at the lodge. The lodge had many sleeping options. Steak dinner was very good. Ben Brus is an absolute pro and fit in with our group. Had the best flyfishing experience ever on a one-day guided float trip with Blake. Blake was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was glad to help my novice wife improve her flyfishing skills and by the end of the day she felt completely comfortable casting and catching fish. He was able to give me plenty of pointers as well which was fantastic. We spent the night at the lodge onsite. Best decision ever. We were able to fish that evening as well as the next morning with direct access to the river from the backyard. The lodge itself was gorgeous and was decorated to get you into the fishing mood. We can't wait to come back and bring our family and friends for many more trips!! read more

Every year my father and I take a fishing trip and this year we chose the grey reef river and the Crazy Rainbow. We loved it! For starters, Laurie, who manages the lodge, was exceptional. It is wonderful to see someone take such pride in their work and do so with such exceptional customer experience. I do t know if she gets to sleep, but I guarantee you will be take. Care of! Ryan, our guide, was one of the most effective and professional guides that I have had in over 20 years of obsessive fishing. The lodge was in beautiful, located right on the river and had all the amenities you would expect. Lastly, I love it when staff share their respect for their management and ownership. I didn't get to spend much time with Blake or the other owners, but it goes to show that great people surround themselves with great people! Spent a wonderful July morning on the North Platte with Ty and Luke. They guided us through impressive stretches and into some of the best Fishing in the western US.
