My wife and I have eaten here many times and it is our favorite local breakfast place. They have a cafeteria style lunch line serving things like meatloaf, mashed potatoes, etc. They also have a menu you can order from with all the usual breakfast items. One thing I very much value is that they make it clear that they want our business. We go to so many restaurants where they act like we are an imposition. Not here. I always feel like I get my money's worth too. And my best tip of the day, try the peach cobbler...if you can get it. It's the best we have ever had. read more

We are new to the area and came to the restaurant based on the reviews. W e were willing to bypass the broken pots and the immediate need for lawn care outside the restaurant because we were there for the food. The sign said 'Please seat yourself' so we did. It was convenient that napkins were on the table so I was able to get the sticky stuff off the booth before sitting down. After 15 minutes and 2 waitresses walking by us (we were never greeted) several times we decided to leave. The 3 stars is strictly for the service. Greeter and server were both warm and friendly. However this food is bland. Beyond bland. My grits not only looked watery, they tasted like water as well. The bacon was good though. My husband had an omelet that left a lot to be desired. He felt like the veggies weren't cooked through. I had a rare moment of enough time for a sit down breakfast. I had avoided this place because of a bad experience at the same building about 17 years ago. Totally different restaurant and totally different people. About today's visit: really good! I was greeted by a friendly hostess and I was told to sit anywhere. I was shortly thereafter given a menu. My server was pleasant and friendly. Another server also helped, and it was nice to see wait staff working together to serve customers. I ordered my two egg breakfast with smoked sausage. I wanted to try someplace different for breakfast, so I looked on yelp and found this place. I called and placed my order to go. The associate said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived there in about 10 minutes and my order was ready....they even asked if I needed some water to go, wow! Nothing beats having a good breakfast in the South. I have been to this restaurant a few times that I'm in this Atlanta suburb and every time I'm never disappointed. I am an easy person when I order breakfast: eggs scrambled soft with cheese, hash browns, turkey sausage and toast/biscuit. I agree with other yelpers, the pancakes are great. We had the Hungry man breakfast with a side of really buttery, creamy grits and a biscuit. They should not serve biscuits. The omellete we ordered was plentiful with bits of ham, cheese and veggies. I guess they are doing something right because the customers kept pouring in that Saturday morning. I probably won't be going back anytime soon though. The place needs renovating and I can get the same quality of food and a better dining experience at Truetts or IHop. read more

While their name implies that they have the best breakfast I would disagree. There pancakes with candied pecans is great but the rest of the menu is average. The people are friendly and the prices are fair. The best thing about this place is their lunch. It is a cafeteria style lunch with a limited menu but the price is unbeatable. beware !! Roaches poor service &extremly late food !! Beware I know it was mothers day and busy but it took a hour to serve my wife, my 3 year old daughter , the server brought out my wifes food first then 5 min later the rest of the order , we only ordered pancakes ,meal , sausage , bacon , eggs, , 3 people came in 20 mins after us eat and left before we got our food , when the food came I told them I was very unhappy with customer service , and I think that they should make it rite , she told me next time I gotcha??
