After the compustar t13 remote start and alarm…read moreinstallation that Wicked Sounds, aka dfm, did for me, I returned because the auto arming and proximity release of the alarm failed. First, the business is an authorized Compustar dealer, but not a pro dealer. Thus, apparently they are not authorized to purchase or install the T13. I am told the errors I have are likely due to error on installation. Compustar has a lifetime warranty, but since they are not PRO installers of the T13 PRO, I have to find a PRO to fix. In the meantime, the business says it works when your here the day it is installed thus not their problem. Conclusion, go to Sacramento for the install at a PRO, because using them leaves vulnerable to the scam that you have no warranty because of their ignorance in proper installation of the PRO product. All this information is kept secret from the customer. I am still trying to fix the defective install and Danny said he washed his hands of me and the install. Keep in mind I suffered intense gaslighting where they record you in front of the cash register and the staff stands outside of the view and acts abusingly and falsely blames you for the breaking the product when you use the product as it is to be used This is a disturbing experience. I have alerted Compustar regarding the situation.

He attempted to downplay his initial proposal as merely an "estimate," despite it being presented as a formal quote with a detailed plan. I've never worked with an owner--particularly one who claims to have four decades in the industry--who couldn't provide a project cost within a reasonable margin of 15-20%. To see the price double after receiving a written proposal is deeply concerning. When I voiced my frustration, Vinny offered no apology, instead referencing his customers have "open wallets" and boasting about a $90,000 project currently underway in his shop. If you're comfortable with vague pricing and shifting estimates, this shop may suit your needs. However, given the abundance of reputable alternatives, I strongly advise against choosing this business. While some might be upset about there not being a whole wall of choices when it comes to stereos, they have a good selection of things you'll actually want rather than hundreds of choices just for the sake of having hundreds of choices. We made a deal and he estimated about an hours' time to install the radio. You can easily hoof it to Carl's Junior down the highway so I did that. After munchin' a burger I came back and, within a few minutes, the stereo was in. The installation looks as good as if the factory installed it and, for a reasonable price I am now driving safer and listening to content that I want. This new stereo is pretty slick as it can draw content right from my iPhone and works great as a bluetooth phone, too. Even the mic installation for the phone is beautiful and there are no scratch marks on my ancient pickup whatsoever. I liked that the answers I got from them were straightforward and honest. I never felt pressured to buy things and he didn't try to talk me into a stereo that cost more than my truck is worth. Quality installation, fair price and outstanding service means I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new audio system for their vehicle. With today's laws about hands-free phones you can get all fixed up for a pretty affordable price and be very happy with a job well done. I'm definitely pleased.
