What I signed up for turned out to be a full on sales pitch from this outside company. The technician who came out was friendly, but it became clear the purpose wasn't to help. The sole purpose was to sell. I was told I needed a $4,300 filtration and reverse osmosis system because my current setup was "failing." I scheduled the installation on the spot, but something didn't sit right. I did some research and contacted an independent plumber the next day. He determined that my water softener simply needed to be turned on. The water softener and the R/O system were working perfectly. No replacement was needed, just some maintenance. (Filters etc.) I chose to cancel the installation within the legal 3-day window, as outlined in the contract. A friend helped me hand-deliver the cancellation notice to their office. What followed was frankly bizarre. The office staff seemed flustered by the simple request for a receipt and refused to acknowledge the cancellation in writing. I was told someone would email me a copy, which still hasn't happened. Later that day, the technician left me a voicemail asking for clarification. When I called back to explain (which I didn't legally need to do), she hung up on me mid-sentence, right after I mentioned I had paused the credit card charge. To cover all bases, I also emailed the company to confirm my cancellation. The next day, I received an aggressive email from the owner. The message was full of strange accusations, including that my friend was "impersonating" me, that he "scared" their employees by sitting in his car in the parking lot, and even a bizarre reference to my job. The tone was defensive, unprofessional, and frankly disturbing. Additionally the email was riddled with legal terminology that was used incorrectly. I've never encountered a business that responds this way to a perfectly legal cancellation. If this is how they treat customers during the refund window, I can only imagine how difficult they might be if something goes wrong after installation. All that happened was simply a firm pushback against a pressured sale. Blue Wolf may sell real equipment, but their approach is manipulative, their communication is hostile, and their response to a basic customer right was entirely inappropriate. I would not recommend them to anyone. Get a second opinion, and don't confuse a branded water test at Home Depot with impartial advice.

First I paid for a new Furnace, AC unit, and tankless water heater. After the install I found out instead of installing the SER 16.2 I paid for they installed a 15.4 instead at my house. Both my father and I were told we had sign up for the service contract and that they would service our equipment for free. In the beginning it seemed like a great deal. I also had my water main break and that was all this initial call was for. I was able to fix the main break on my own and did not need the service. It took Whitney so long that they had already installed the AC and furnace but not fixed the water. When I told Matt I didn't need he stated he had all his profit wrapped in that portion and that I would need to pay another 4k... My father had an AC and Furnace. They did not give him the de-humidifier he paid for because the install tech had a dull drill bit and inadequate tools, it took him 4+ hours to drill through the wall. My father offered a better bit and drill, the employee refused. SO he did not get what he paid for either. Fast forward to the after the first winter and my fathers AC is not working. WHiteny comes out and tells him he has a leak, service plan expired (even though they never came out for wither of us) and he would need to pay them. He then called the office and spoke with the office manager who stated he would not have to pay. Later I call I have to my service completed that I paid for at install (more than $4350 after the additional extorted $4000. ) just to find out my service plan expired and I also will need to pay after they completed the service, not before. I call the manager explain the situation let them know I am not going to pay, they say that's totally understandable, the AC unit should not be leaking when barely a year old. THIS WHOLE TIME THEY BILL ME FOR EVERYTHING. My dads service, mine, just everything. I call ask them for the 10th time to straighten out our accounts, explained again the entire situation to Margot. She says she will fix it, and talk with the higher ups and get this resolved. Instead she then Billed my father for services from MY house and his house! This company is hot pile of crap and is the biggest mess I have ever seen. If they continue to harass us over their fraudulent charges and business practices, we will see them in court. You sold me a 16.2 and installed a 15.4 thinking you were slick. You lied about your service plan, and over charges customers because your employees had poor tolls and improper equipment (Install tech tried to drill through a 12" wall with a dull bit and dead right angle battery drill). My father and I expect an apology. Thank you.
