I went in for a removal and full berry set. Had to fill out paperwork and wait a bit for my tech, but I saw wait times online of 20+ min so my 5-10 wasn't bad. So I had Lori, and she brought me in and initially told me a completely different service, and I was like no, I'm here for a removal and full set. Once she looked at her scheduler she was like oh oops. Again, no big deal. So she confirms I'm there for berry set which was fine but had I known the berry looks sparse as soon as it starts to shed I would've gotten a different set. It was my first time at the shop so I clearly did not know the different sets. So she puts some stuff on my eyes and goes on to I think soak the old lashes off....wouldve liked her to explain the process because, even after getting lashes done for the past 6 years, I've never gotten lashes removed so I was not familiar with the process. So she's texting the whole time I'm laying there with stuff on my eyes, hoping the liquid is doing its job. Finally she says okay go to the bathroom. Again, I have literally never been to the shop so I had no idea where it was and when I tried to open my eyes it was the worst pain of my life. My eyes stung so badly I had to feel the wall to get to the bathroom to wash it off my eyes. Like she never said any of this would burn, barely explained the process or where the bathroom was- and, did I mention she was sniffling and coughing the entire appt? So I wash my eyes and they feel way better. So she does my lashes. All in all the whole thing took 2 hours and cost over $150. The salon itself looked really nice so I was excited. Even though when I opened my eyes the lashes were sparse and kinda weird looking? She said berry was "the most like a cat-eye" and that absolutely is not the case. Like I said, I've gotten lashes for the past 6 years and have never had them look like that. They were much longer than she originally explained, there wasn't a longer part at the edge of my eye like a cat-eye would be, and I generally was disappointed, but I'm not a complainer so I just paid and tipped and left. Well an alleged 4 days later, my lashes are basically gone. I looked in the mirror at work today and was like, where the hell did these expensive lashes I just paid for go. So I called the shop and they said 2 things- one I was past the three day mark that they would allow for any corrective free service on their part if there is excessive fallout (was literally NEVER told about this 3 day rule) and because I didn't purchase the "proper" after care that basically double barred me from them fixing it? So 1.) I was never told by anyone about either of these policies. When I checked out, they recommended the lash cleanser, which was part of the after care which I spent an additional $12 on. 2.) What? Is it past the three day mark or is it because I didn't buy your expensive after-care package the reason you can't fix your mistakes? The third thing they said was that it must be my fault for not taking care of the lashes. Regardless of whether you believe me or not, because I've gotten lashes for so long I know how to take care of them- so no working out, no showering, no getting lashes wet within the first two days and cleaning the third day. So the manager basically told me to get fucked but I could PAY FOR A WEEK FILL. Like why would I go back to a salon who did such a bad job and spend more money on a service that will fall out after 72 hours? Did I mention I now have a sore throat because my lash tech Lori was coughing and sniffling on me? Who the hell lets their lash techs come in sick, they literally have their faces next to our faces to do a full set? I would advise no one patronize this terrible business. I will say, Gabby the receptionist was the sweetest and so nice and the only saving grace for this terrible establishment. Do not waste your hard earned money here because the lashes won't last a full 5 business days. Last update- the owner lied to me bc in another comment to a 1 star review on google said that they would fix lashes with issues within the first FEW days. This individual lied to me and said it was three bc I was on day 4. Don't waste money here, absolute trash business. read more
