So this location is amazing for trying to get you in for an appointment. The technicians are friendly and amazing. So, the reason I cam for lashes is that the strip lashes that I glue on every morning are a pain and start to come off in high humidity, sweating, swimming, etc. it is summer and I am spending time outdoors, time in the gym and just enjoying life so I wanted to make things easier for myself. So yes, I do wake up gorgeous in the morning because my lashes stay on but but but the reasons I really wanted the lashes was for the activities I had just mentioned and appalling the lash extensions do not hold up with pool chlorine, high heat and sweaty exercise...so you have to try it for your self to see if this works for you but it is a time saver and you always look great. read more

I've been coming here for 1.5 years, and loved most of my experiences with this place. If I didn't love the service, I was at the very least satisfied. I noticed it took some time for me and my stylists to find our groove, but that is just part of figuring things out. The only negative experience I had wasn't handled well at first, but I felt was handled better by the end. I had one instance where I went with a different tech because my usual tech had a family emergency. They got me rescheduled ASAP, but it was also the day I left out of town. They don't usually recommend doing that, but those were the circumstances this one time. That night before adding doing anything except sitting in the car, I noticed a *lot* of fallout. Way more than the usual 1 or 2, and they weren't my natural lashes falling out, it was just the extensions. When I got back into town, it had already been three days, and my stylist wouldn't be available until much later, so there was a bit of back and forth about how to handling redoing my lashes. I was not satisfied with that. The next time I came in, I did let them know I would like to cancel my membership and use up any remaining credits with my regular stylist because I did not think things were handled well for someone like me who has been going to the studio for over a year by that time.However, by the end, the owner was there and we talked and squared things away. I appreciated how she handled things with me and with the stylist at the front desk (she was not new to lashes, but on the customer service aspect). I've been going there ever since. Having said all that, I did develop an allergy to the lash glue, and am ending the lash extensions for now. But overall, I'd say my experience with this location has been great! I want my lashes done for the holidays given that Thursday is Thanksgiving and Christmas is coming right around the corner. I reached out to Michelle who is a technician here and she told me she could fit me in because she need a models when I walked in. They asked me what I wanted, and I gave them a specific set and I was told that they couldn't do the set I wanted because since she's in training, she can't touch certain lashes, which I understood and I told them to mimic it cause she said that she could sat there for a good 2 1/2 hours. We had a great conversation and when I left, I was satisfied when I got home. I looked at my lashes in the mirror, and I saw that there were huge gaps. I messaged her and informed her that I noticed that there was gaps in my eyes. She told me that it was the best she could do left it alone today the lashes started falling out and I reached out to her about 5 to 6 times before she finally messaged me and told me that I should've never gotten to her in the first place. I understand that she is in training, but as a technician, you should want to improve in your work and she just seemed uninterested, so I thanked her for her time and I told her that I would be looking for another salon to go to and that I wouldn't recommend this salon and it doesn't help that my eyes were itching and burning the next day read more

In my experience, there's only one master lash technician worth going to Amazing Lash and paying mucho mullah for and she gets 5 stars and is worth it. The ladies at the front desk are friendly and professional and the establishment is clean and comfortable. Why I give them 3 stars is for business practices. They only have one master! You pay a monthly membership fee plus additional 15 dollars per session for premium lashes and an additional 10 dollars for going to the master plus tips I end up spending close to 200 a month on lashes going every two weeks. The master books up fast and I often had to go to someone else. When I've gone to someone else, my lashes fall out at about 80-90 percent within a week sometimes the lashes look twisted and just bad. I had to go back in a week which ended up costing me full price on a fill which was extremely expensive on top of my membership. The difference between the quality of work of the master vs. anyone else is extreme. If the master left, I would not go to amazing lash. Why don't they train or make it worth while to improve the rest of the techs? Even when I couldn't get the master I asked for the next best tech and it was as bad as anyone else there. They are doing something wrong and seems as though they need to give more of an incentive on achieving mastery of their skills. I think this is why their ratings are so low. read more

However, this business handled my situation poorly. Amazing Lash clearly only thinks about money they are making and not about retaining their clients. Sadly, my business with them ended. I started my services 3 months ago. At the beginning all was great but the last 2 times the glue they use has crusted over both eyelids and my eyes are painful to touch. I was told nothing had changed to which I replied perhaps it is a change in supplier. I don't know what it is but this business seems to be so money hungry and not care about customer service at all. The Poor techs are rushing to finish. I have since done a lot of research and found out that if they over stretch your eyelid you can end up with serious Damage to your sclera. This last time I had blood shot eyes the following day. The glue had crusted over and blood vessels were broken inside both of my eyes. When I brought this up to the management I was told I couldn't get a refund and they didn't know if they could remove my lashes. I went in and they did remove my lashes but they refused to give me a refund. RUN FAR AWAY from this place. Spend your money elsewhere. I'm sure I'm not the first and won't be the last. Worst ever!!! Unfortunately, it's a poorly managed salon to say the very least. Due to my personal experience, coming from another Amazing Lash Studio (Round Rock, Texas location) my expectations were much higher, all the way around. I understand that El Paso, Texas doesn't have the same clientele or apparently the same level of expertise in their personnel (no expert level operators in EP) perhaps as the Austin area but that does not excuse inept and unacceptable customer service! My issues (while it started with the lashes and application to some degree) are/were not with the person that applied them - it was the manager's mishandling of the situation, not once but AT LEAST twice, possible 3 times, depending on your idea and expectations of a Store manger is... I wouldHIGHLY discourage anyone that values their eyelashes (first and foremost) and a true customer service attitude to consider finding another establishment to spend your money. I have found a truly 'AMAZING LASH' person and she's actually the owner of her salon so I prefer to frequent local businesses and get what I have paid for without having to worry about the product, service or how much additionally is it going to cost in the end; the +++ WITH a membership is beyond ridiculous. Now that I know the big picture, I would have stayed away from the El Paso, Texas location. I was warned but decided to give Amazing Lash Studio (El Paso) an opportunity but regretfully so. I have gone to this studio for services 4 times and the best advice I can give to you ladies looking to get eyelash extensions done is GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! They are very deceiving in giving you accurate rates when you are scheduling an appointment and asking for prices. I have gotten the same volume amount each time and every time I schedule a service they tell me one price then change it when it comes time to pay. You would think based on the fact that I get the same style the least they could do is give an accurate rate so I can decide the type of service I want to get. They will try to get you to sign up for the membership (which I did at first) but did not find it beneficial and just like everything else it's an additional fee for them to make money off of you from. They lack professionalism and the last time I was there for a full set I ended up with a lash technician that cried and talked about her boyfriend issues for the entire time she did my lashes. They seem to have a high employee turnover rate so you will always be getting someone that is new to the profession and barely learning. There are plenty of other people that do eyelash extensions and give accurate rates with high professionalism. Save yourselves the time, money and headache... go elsewhere ladies. read more
