Undercooked potato, loaded with pepper, some onion and tad corned beef. Tea was oversteeped by the time it got to our table. The server never checked in to see how anything was. As new residents to Jensen Beach, we are so glad we found Berry Fresh Cafe in Stuart . My husband and I take breakfast serious, and this is the place. Even though we can walk to the " local breakfast place "in Jensen Beach , it doesn't stand a chance against Berry Fresh Cafe. The staff is always courteous and attentive, even when dealing with some of the obnoxious , ill-mannered Yankees who overrun our beautiful city every winter. I went here for the first time today. It was busy and we were told it was a ten minute wait, but they seated us almost immediately after they took our name. Their menu is sizable and I loved the fact that they had an entire keto friendly, gluten free and vegan menu! They had tons of fresh pressed juices and drink options, you could tell everything was made fresh in house. I got the lunch special with the chicken pesto sandwich (delicious) and the soup of the day which was cauliflower mushroom (I wasn't a fan, super watery). The food is always fresh and the portions are large. The monthly specials are terrific. Try one of the fresh squeezed juices too. Staff is super friendly and very helpful when you are trying to decide which items to choose. Great food, excellent service, the menu always has new items. The Shrimp and Grits is a classic, but they do so much more.

I have been to this breakfast spot many times and have always thought it was a solid place for breakfast. However today I went and I ordered the shrimp and crab cake omelette and it was full of shells. I had to pull shells pieces out of my mouth until I finally gave up on eating it. I mentioned it to the waiter and he thought nothing of it. Very unsettling as this could be a choking hazard. Wish they would have addressed the concern instead of brushing it under the carpet. read more

Found on yelp and the reviews and food pics made our decision for us. Got on waitlist from Yelp so our wait time was but 2 minutes. Restaurant is colorful and spacious. Jessica our waitress was phenomenal. Had great recommendations and checked on us often. She even fixed the wabble in our table. I had the mango mimosa in the mason jar. I could have shared it. Quite large and a little sweet for my taste. Hubble had the bacon Bloody Mary and loved it. The blueberry fritters are a must !!!' The yogurt dipping sauce was delicious as was their blueberry jam. However mixing the two together and dipping was divine. I ordered the crab cakes and green tomatoes Benedict with home fries. Just fantastic. Hubby had the salsa verde pork hash - Omg!! Tender, juicy and delicious. My friend ordered avocado and goat cheese toast with basted eggs. Delicious. Her hubby had chicken hash with fries. The portions were very generous. Our problem was deciding what to order as everything sounded amazing. We will definitely make this a stopping place when we visit family in south Florida. Worth taking detour to eat here again!! This is a perfect example of a farm to table establishment. The entrees were fresh and beautifully presented. I ordered the Shrimp Avocado Toast: multi-grain toast topped with wild shrimp, avocado mash, scrambled eggs topped with salsa verde hollandaise and served with a side of fresh fruit. I was really impressed with the fruit, as most places serve fresh, yet bitter and under ripe fruit. Not here, sweet and addictively delicious! The entire meal was PERFECT! The portions are HUGE and normally I'd take some home, but since we're traveling, I had no choice but to leave half. The staff is friendly and very helpful, even with our group of 5 adults and 3 kids. We arrived around 9:30 and had a 10 minute wait. By the time we left, there was a long line waiting. Arrive early if you want to avoid a longer wait. If I lived in this area, I'd dine here quite frequently as there are SO many other choices I'd have loved to try. read more

I just moved to Stuart and this is the first restaurant I've dined at. We initially went to Dune Dog but after looking at both menus we got back in our car and decided to go get brunch here. Nice friendly vibe from the staff when we entered. We got seated right away and our server was super patient as we tried to decide what we wanted. He gave great recommendations when we asked. We finally decided on the loaded potato pancake, corn beef hash, and lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberries. We also got the grits and biscuits on the side. Everything was delicious. The standouts however were the pancakes and the biscuits. I'll be back for those for sure!! The grits were also delicious...creamy and cheesy. Nothing was left on our plates but egg yolk residue. Gotta mention the mixed berry jam...that went well with everything. I may have to buy a jar at my next visit. Stuart is off to a good start. read more

I've heard of this technique -- but no one else actually seems to use it. A simple, yet brilliant touch. We sat outside -- though it was toasty -- because we had our dogs. I ordered the crab meat eggs benedict -- sauce on side - with red potatoes. The crab crabs were cooked perfectly; crunchy outside and fresh crab meat inside; eggs were drippy with firm whites. Potatoes were meaty and soft with crispy outsides and lightly grilled onions. All food, including the hollandaise sauce, is fresh; nothing canned or frozen. Hubby is a vegan and easily found choices. He was hungry (brunch being breakfast and lunch, afterall) and ordered 2 entrees. 1. Fresh avocado toast with a side of fresh fruit (and it was FRESH!). The bread was thick and whole grain. 2. Quinoa burger (without the cheese) with a side of cole slaw (for me). They do have gf buns, if needed. The burger was thick and made fresh with real food ingredients of quinoa, black beans, corn and I forget what else; there was avocado on it. There were other people eating outside and their food also looked yummy. Portions were excellent size. More than enough food. Even the beverage straws are eco-friendly.
