I soon found out she was one of the owners on her day off just dropping off checks. I love when an owner steps up and does whatever it takes to get their customers in and out. Ordered a snickerdoodle coffee and was in LOVE. The staff were incredibly nice and answering all questions. It genuinely makes me smile to see the positive messages on the cups. Second time my husband went and got a cold foam and a sandwich. He didn't like the cold foam but said the sandwich was good and since the staff was so friendly he would try it again. Second time he got a cookies and cream and was much happier. I think these owners alone make people want to come back. They are dedicated, friendly and must treat their staff well to have teenagers (for the most part) so kind. I love Starbucks but I choose Cali coffee because their coffee is great and owned by a family who really cares.

I was genuinely excited to visit this place because my sister had been craving their donuts. As…read moresoon as I walked in, the gentleman behind the counter, Josh, asked if he could help me. He asked how many donuts I wanted, and I explained that it was my first visit and that I wasn't sure yet. I had planned on ordering several donuts, but almost immediately I was met with a frustrated facial expression and what appeared to be a slight eye roll. I should have walked away, but I wanted to get my sister what she had been craving, so I stayed and placed a $37 order. The entire interaction was uncomfortable. Josh's attitude made it seem as though he didn't want to serve me. His facial expressions, hand gestures, and overall demeanor suggested he was frustrated and unhappy to be there. No customer should feel like they're inconveniencing an employee simply by placing an order. To make matters worse, the customer behind me seemed irritated because I was ordering more than the two donuts she wanted, and it felt like Josh was more concerned with her impatience than with providing me good customer service. I regularly visit local businesses and share honest reviews with my personal groups because I enjoy supporting small businesses. Unfortunately, this experience is not one I can recommend. No craving is worth standing at the counter feeling unwelcome while an employee appears visibly irritated handling your order. One negative interaction can completely change someone's first impression. I sincerely hope management addresses this, because the quality of customer service should match the quality of the product.
