Came here during a windy day. I advise to make sure you check the weather to bring a jacket. It was a bit nippy that day so but the view was amazing and we had plenty of space coming in on the weekday. We sat on the patio first floor so servers was good. We got all our drinks, fresh and cold. View of the beach was amazing. I had an inkling for clam strips so I ordered that which came nice and hot fresh fried. It was a little bit pricier but given the location we're at I can't complain. The tartar sauce was nice and tangy. The coleslaw was a bit flavorless, but I let that pass. This is a classic spot that we come to at least once per year. The only bad reviews you'll see for this place are about the "food" and the "service" from uptight Karen's or kids who the bouncers didn't let in. The food is average to good depending on what you get and the service is about average considering the staff has to deals with the aforementioned Karen's during the day and the aforementioned kids at night when it turns into a legitimate party spot for the younger crowd. If you're older come here with an expectation of drinking a cocktail on a deck within a stones throw away from the ocean, but leave when the music starts and the kids show up at night. read more

I thought this place was just okay. Our waiter, that we could barely hear, took our drink order. Came back told us some things weren't available for drinks. Took a new order. And before the drinks were delivered another waitress came over to take our drink order again. Maybe it was a shift change but it seemed like no one knew what was going on. We both had a misunderstanding when I ordered oysters (I wanted 2 of each kind for a total of 6 and she thought I meant 2 dozen total lol). No biggie it was quickly rectified. I also had the clam strip basket with fries. Portions were generous and they were really good! I considered a 4* simply for price but it's a tourist trap in tourist season so I guess expect $26.00 clams, I mostly wanted to highlight Sarah's professionalism and great service - thanks girl! My husband and I were seated before many other larger parties yet waited more than 30mins to be served water and I had to stop two different servers. Had the lobster bisque & lobster Rangoon. I didn't care for the rangoon because the sauce had a soy sauce base. I thought it sounded good, but didn't deliver. I didn't finish the rangoon. The lobster bisque is the ABSOLUTE BEST I have ever had. I take every opportunity to try bisque from coast to coast and this style with thick, creamy, rich stock and generous chunks of lobster is undeniably the best. I came here 8 years ago and made sure to enjoy on my repeat visit. Drinks are very tasty with a tall pour. Lively atmosphere and live music. We had such an excellent waitress, I'm so sad I don't remember her name. I want to say it starts with a "W", anyway the place is so trendy and chique. I was there with my classmates for my residency so we needed to shake off our anxiety and that place was perfect! The food was well portioned and delicious. It is a bit on the pricier side. I also highly recommend you grab a seat upstairs because you will have a beautiful view of the beach. We went on a Wednesday and by coincidence that's when they have live music at the restaurant and fireworks on the beach. It's an amazing experience. Recently discovered this restaurant when we went to Hampton Beach (on a Monday). Loved it! What a scenic location! Available deck on the 2nd floor overlooking the street and beach! Had a great time! Food was delicious! A little more expensive, but given the location, it's still reasonable. Had the fish sandwich and two dozen oysters ($1 each on Mondays). Oysters were good. Kinda smaller than I hoped for, but still, they were fresh, and delicious. And most importantly, they didn't swim back up in the middle of the night. ;-) One of the sauces that came with the oysters was absolutely delicious: Some sort of really spicy habanero sour cream or something like that. OMG! I did spread it all over my fish sandwich. I'm drooling all over my keyboard thinking about it! :) Even with their covid masks, all the (female) servers are beautiful! Seriously. Really cool spot, but not a good place for dinner. Went for dinner with 6 guys before a concert and it was clear that this place is not well run. They had a lot of kids working that weren't attentive or interested in customers. Waitress got one of our entree orders completely wrong and said we could keep the mistake order (but she'd have to charge us for it) and brought the wrong drink another time (but didn't charge us). We asked the guys who served our food for extra mayo and they just shrugged and walked away. We gave 3 cards and asked to split our $200 bill three ways and it came back with three checks: two at $70 and one at $60 - clearly not evenly. Our table was broken and super wobbly and the top wasn't event fully attached. Would go for a drink and a show again but pick another place to eat dinner. Way too expensive for the food and quality. Each time we have been there, at least one of the meals has not very good (my fish dish recently was extremely dry). And to cap it off- they add a surcharge to the bill - not a tip. Just an extra charge they add. There is no signage or up front notification. Just "surprise! Great oceanfront bar/restaurant/venue. Right on the boardwalk of Hampton Beach so guests have a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. I'm unsure if Ive ever eaten the food here but the drinks are always cold. Ha. The 1 drink per person rule makes getting a drink for your Friends/partner annoyingly difficult during concerts. Most recent concerts I attended are GZA 6/22 and Bone Thugs & Harmony on 9/4. Great sound, great stage view, mediocre light shows. Bone thugs was so packed it was hard to move haha. What a great show though. Exiting afterwards was a total shitshow with only 1 exit which is a long staircase so it makes things challenging for a crowd. I would 100% recommend Bernies for a visit though. read more

This restaurant has the best view of the beach. When we visited last summer (2020), there was a line in order to get a table, but security tried their best to expedite the process by checking ID's throughout the line and handing out wrist bands for those over of 21 and older. We had the option to sit downstairs , upstairs patio or inside ( bar area i believe) we were mostly interested by the view so we remained patient to get what we wanted. It was totally WORTH IT! We got drinks and food, the pina colada were so good that we almost chugged them without realizing. There is a live band that does take request from the patrons, and everyone there wanted to have a good time, and we did just that! I will be honest and say some tables did get a bit rowdy, and if they got out of control security took care of it. Just something to keep in mind if you're bringing kids along with your party.
