The customer service of JD garage was EXCELLENT! The guy who answered my call and helped me through was SO helpful (I think his name is Imad), he had me email them a picture of what was wrong, got back to me with a reasonable quote and got it replaced for me, and the entire process was SO smooth! I have definitely sang praises of this garage to my coworkers all day, and I will be hands down switching to JD for all my auto repairs/ maintenances from now on! Thank you guys SO SO MUCH!

I had a confirmed appointment, but when I arrived, I was told the appointment would not be honored and service was refused. I cannot speak to the quality of their repair work because they would not evaluate or service my vehicle. However, based on the appointment and customer service experience alone, I would not waste your time

We took a vehicle to Christian Brothers here in Bedford a couple years ago to have it looked at for…read morea problem we were having. Turned out, it was a problem they couldn't fix (Ford is a pain in the backside). So, they charged us for nothing but the labor to look into it. Because of their honesty, we took our vehicle in when one of the door handles randomly snapped off one day (really shouldn't do that on a 2016 vehicle). They were wonderful and kept us apprised of the progress and pricing every step of the way. We even had them perform our state inspection while they were at it, which was a great value. The staff was super friendly and helpful every step of the way and zigged when we zagged (it was a particularly bad week for cars for us). Everyone we encountered seemed very trustworthy, the price seemed fair and the finished product is perfectly acceptable. We will be using Christian Brothers for our auto shop needs in the future.

I've been to their shop a few times. This last experience has lost me as a customer…read more They held my car for almost a week and made lots of excuses like "the tech is still looking and hasn't found the issue yet". The problem was very obvious, and it was explained with great detail, and should not have taken so long. It was all just excuses. They also added a laundry list of problems they found and inflated the bill. They even made up a problem and tried to quote me $6000+ for repairs. I could buy a new car for this price, this repair is almost more than the value of the car. In the end, I paid $3300+ and I don't believe they did all the work they claimed. They charged me to change one of my fog lights and never did it too. This whole experience proved to me they have no integrity and make stuff up to suck as much money as possible out of the customer. They all had guilty smiles on when I was in their office paying. They tried to get me to pay for a large, non-critical repair. Going by the experience I had, I am suspicious they may have left things "loose" to create a car problem down the road. The car still has a rattle in it, and this was the reason I brought it in. In the end, I had to wait a week, waste money using Ubers, lied to, bill inflated, did not do all the work they listed, and possibly sabotaged my car to have failure later. This car is pretty new. I have been very gentle with it and always do regular maintenance. The car only has 70k miles on it. They essentially tried to con me. I am posting this so others can see what sort of tactics they use. I will be using a different mechanic and I am going to have this mechanic shop do an examination of the car. The car is fairly new. It should not have all these problems. Either they lied or created them and tried to suck $6000+ from me. Even the $3300+ I paid was ridiculous. EDIT: I am probably going to do a chargeback because I believe they frauded me. My car is worse off since they touched it. I came in for something that was more of a "noise inconvenience", not a major repair. When they came back to me and named a list of repairs, I agreed because I figured the car would be immaculate. This is not the case. My car is worse. They wanted to upsell me on more repairs and I declined. The noise is worse, I hear parts rattling. I am nervous now about my tire coming off the axle or some other major malfunction and it causing me to get in a major wreck. I know they will try to blame me. But you can simply check the miles when I went into their shop and the current miles it has now. Not even 500 miles have been put on it since. All local driving. It is also obvious they did not do all the work they claimed. I wish I never allowed them to touch my car because now it feels broken. The car was fine before.

Although I did not receive any service from this company, I could tell the owner cares and truly wanted to help me as well as others. I was very grateful for our chat and his assistance and expertise, and he made me feel a little better even though I was in a deflating situation. It's not everyday that someone is so helpful, and I appreciated the help that was thrown my way! These guys are good! A class act all the way!!…read more Just before signing the big check for a slightly used car I decided to have it checked out at a mechanic not affiliated with the dealership - as you always should! The car had seemed perfect, it was clean, purred along the interstate during the test drive, everything worked as it should. Perfect! But I still needed to have it check out for peace of mind. And I am glad I did! But we'll get to that later... From the initial phone call where they were able to get me in last minute to being greeted upon arrival, to the actual service, the entire process was top notch. As I looked around their office signs on how they conduct business were everywhere, from the honorary system of paying for the snacks to the mottos that hung on the wall exuding they were serious about integrity and honesty. And they were. From years of interviewing people for work you get a slight talent on how to read people. Actually, that was why I was there, I had a bad feeling from those that were about to sell me the car. I had detected a few non-verbal signs of deception that gave me pause. On the other hand, I felt the guys at Jerry DeLong Automotive are genuine, honest, good guys. Very important in a auto shop! And they didn't prove me wrong. Now for the bad news... When I returned (they paid for my ride back, too!) they showed me everything that was of concern with the car - and there was a lot. Seems the previous owner pushed the car to its limits. Leaks everywhere along with some other things. These repairs would of cost thousands in a year or two. The $90 (I used their Yelp discount) I spent there saved me thousands of $$$! Needless to say I didn't buy the car. The whole process was done with class, professionalism, and honesty. My only regret is that my house is not located more closely because these would be my go-to auto guys. Thanks again for your services. Keep up the good work!

They said they would also charge me a $250 diagnostic fee. I called Japanese Autoworks and Chris quoted me $75 for the diagnosis. I had my car towed to them after they closed, and they fixed it literally THE NEXT DAY - they fit me in after a cancellation. Kate was extremely helpful on the phone and explained everything they were doing and walked me through the pricing. They replaced my hose with an aluminum hose so that the rubber part wouldn't fail and the same thing wouldn't happen. They did my oil change & I will be taking my car back soon for them to look at my AC. I picked this shop based on reviews, and I felt it only fair to talk about my experience as someone who isn't a car guy and has a hard time picking mechanics other than a dealership. This was the worst experience I've ever had with an auto repair! When I brought my car in it was…read moreperfectly drivable but vibrating at rest. I was given a list of repairs to complete on my vehicle and I initially declined a transmission flush because my stepfather who is a mechanic in another city advised against it. Alan would not take no for an answer on this. After I expressed concerns multiple times, he assured me his mechanic said this service needed to be done. I hesitantly agreed to this and other repairs totaling $1900. When I picked up my vehicle it was no longer drivable, stalling every time I idled. They said I would have to pay $2500 for transmission repairs to make my vehicle drivable again (which I refused given the vehicle was not worth that much). The very first thing I found on Google is that it is NOT advisable to perform a transmission flush on a vehicle over 100k miles because it will worsen the problem and cause the vehicle to stall (my car had 160k). When I expressed frustration with this I was told my transmission was already shot before they began work and it wasn't their fault. So why did they advise me do nearly 2k worth of repairs knowing my vehicle would likely become completely unusable? Also, Alan was very aggressive, defensive and rude. I had to ask him multiple times not to raise his voice at me since I was not speaking to him that way. Clearly they either do not know the first thing about transmissions OR they maliciously did this flush in order to require me to pay an additional $2500 to get my vehicle working again. They did refund only the cost of the transmission flush but I am still out $1600 and have a car worth less than 1k after their service. I have been advised I could take them to court over this but decided I need the peace of just being done with this situation. Please don't trust these people with your vehicle!
