Once I got there I popped the hood and immediately seen the MAF sensor was unplugged so I said something and he proceeded to pull the connector from behind the motor and plug it in which once he did it immediately died. So I immediately decided to scan it and found 6 different trouble codes which Travieso said "has check engine light but doesn't effect the way it drives" was misinformation. After I confronted him with the codes he was willing to negotiate and eventually we agreed from 3000-2000. Once I got it home I found that it was leaking oil majorly and burning it. But remember it "doesn't effect the way it drives" thankfully I'm knowledgeable when it comes to these systems and found the source of the issues pretty quickly and repaired it for around 200 so still a win. But overall I would not recommend this place because I felt he was trying to be very deceiving and seemed upset when I tried negotiating for the issues. If you go here please request to scan the car with either his scan tool or better yet take it to Napa or O'Reillys, please be careful when buying here! Anyways I fixed it cheap and now it works well.

Hands on Car Detailing & Audio - Very disappointed with the lack of performance and…read moreprofessionalism. A month ago I took my car to Hands on Car Detailing & Audio on Winchester Ave., in Martinsburg, for a much-needed auto detailing. I spoke to a pleasant sounding woman who quoted a price of $140 for my car to be hand washed, hand waxed, the inside thoroughly vacuumed, and the seats and carpets shampooed. She told me to bring my car in Saturday morning at 10 AM and pick it up about three hours later which was perfect for us. Things did not start off well. I was waiting in the parking lot and was joined by another customer. It was 10 minutes past the opening time and still no one was there, so we waited in our cars. I called Brittany and she told me she she was going to be another15 minutes before she would come. She changed her mind and came in five minutes later. When she arrived, I reminded her what we agreed was to be done to my car. She called me back almost 6 hours later that it was ready. Oh, another thing! At the last minute she asked me to pay for the service in cash. When I told her I didn't have the cash, I asked if she would take a credit card and she told me the machine was not working and that I should go to an ATM. Now I see why... When we got there, my car still had ALL the outside scuffs and marks. I asked her about them she said they waxed it and they would not come out. Because it was late in the day I did not examine my car further and I drove it home. The inside of my car was clean enough. When I got home my husband I could clearly see that my car had not been hand washed or waxed. It looked like someone drove my car through a car wash and did not apply pressure by hand at all! We took a light cleaning pad and warm water and were able to remove most of the scuff marks our selves! I called the office and the mobile numbers to complain - she did not answer and no one returned my calls. Very disappointing. With the current lack of honest work ethic and management that I experienced, I would warn you to stay away from Hands on Car Detailing & Audio.

I forgot who I was speaking to on the phone, but after the initial talk about pricing, etc., they started saying I should consider getting a new dashboard/head unit system because mine is the OEM one. They said the amp/subwoofer is powered by the head unit, which makes no sense to me. I'm not a mechanic, but as far as I know, the amp is powered by the battery, and the amp feeds the subwoofers. After I heard that, I called the conversation short, not to mention the random pitch about audio quality and replacing the stock speakers in the door panels.

Andre was extremely easy to talk to and a consummate professional every step of the way. He started by explaining his policy of only installing parts he'd provide as opposed to having us bring equipment for him to install. This made sense as there are a lot of things that can go wrong with internet purchases, and an installation oftem involves more than just the one part. After discussing various options, he emailed us a fully itemized estimate at a reasonable price. We were able to pick the car up about 5 hours after dropoff, after which he gave me a quick walkthrough of the new system which was a very welcome modern upgrade from the previous factory setup. He even went the extra mile to ensure that our phone USB charging setup remained at parity with the way it was before the installation. I would recommend Unparalleled Audio to anyone who is looking to have their car stereo replaced by an expert you can fully trust to just... be a good person.

I read a bunch on the interwebs about how this was a bad idea, it was gonna screw up my low voltage battery system, the battery management system was gonna freak out. All sorts of horrific things were likely to happen. But Tim's had enough recent experience with EVs to know with the 12V batteries (not the Lithium Ion 16V or higher in some news EVs) - it was likely to work just fine. He whipped up a quote based on experience, and gave me the peace of mind to say, "Hey if it doesn't work - we'll customize according to some of the specs you're seeing online". Great! So I dropped it off a few months ago, the install went swimmingly and as planned, and I've had it thumping the hell outta my car ever since with not a single complain from the car's battery management system. Woot! Well done, Tim! Thank you!
