It's disappointing to see you respond not by addressing the concerns I raised, but by questioning whether I was ever a patient at all. That's not only false--it's a deflection from the real issue: I paid for new designer frames and was given used/demo ones from your display wall. I wasn't even provided the proper designer case they normally come with, just a generic one that didn't fit properly. That is not acceptable, and it certainly isn't ethical. You claim to have searched your patient database but couldn't verify me--yet somehow you sent me a private message on Yelp with direct contact info. That doesn't align. You also claim I would have responded if I were a real patient. I did not respond because I already attempted to contact your office directly before ever posting a review, and I was ignored. Only after leaving honest public feedback did I receive any acknowledgment. This pattern of dismissing concerns and redirecting the narrative is exactly what motivated me to leave a review. We did this on a Saturday at Costco, which is a very stupid thing to do. It was a mad house. The Costco lady did the centering of my eyes on the new frames but when I picked them up, the focus was bad. So back I went to Brinton. Another exam and a slight adjustment. Back to Costco and they replaced the lens gratis. However, it still was not working so I went back to Costco and had the ladies check whether my eyes were properly centered and...no, the measurement was off, so Costco replaced the lens again, at no cost. Brinton put me on to that and I am very appreciative that he did, and had taken the time do do all the eye checking to get it right. Very nice operation.

I called right back and told her to not even worry about it. So this review comes after a lifetime of experience with eye professionals and opticians. I have never been so satisfied with an eye doctor, optician, or office. First, the professionalism, depth of care, and individual attention are unsurpassed. Dr. Foust spends a great deal of time making absolutely certain about the health of the eyes and about the corrective prescription. If you like learning more about your eyes, their care, and the science behind the procedures, this is where you want to be. I learned more about my eyes, about undiscovered issues, and about the eye care profession in one visit than I learned in all my previous visits combined. This past weekend I had a fall and started having some retinal issues with one eye. Once I checked out the symptoms and found I needed to have a doctor look at my eye, I called Dr. Foust's office, and they got me in extremely quickly. Dr. Foust conducted a thorough exam, explained my symptoms, gave me instructions for care, and helped me understand what to look for in case my symptoms worsened. Again, he also provided a wealth of background and scientific information to help me understand more deeply. It doesn't hurt that he is friendly, welcoming, and patient. The optician, Robert McBee, is just as amazing! I have a wide head, and searching for frames is always stressful and frustrating. Robert took one look at me, picked out 4 frames that were lovely and fit my head comfortably. That's how well he knows his stock and his clients. He also does all the jobs of an optical shop - no assistants that might make errors or sell you the wrong frame. He fit the frame and lenses to my prescription carefully before he ordered the glasses. His philosophy is that when you pick up your glasses, they should perfectly fit your face and eyes without adjustment - and they did! His knowledge of lens technology is amazing, and I left the appointment with a great deal of information. I will continue to use this business for the rest of my life!

In March I purchased contacts and then glasses later on this year. I'm in town for the holidays and unfortunately had forgotten my contacts. I called and explained the situation, how loyal we are and how I'm from out of town. I nicely asked if I could swing by and get 2 pairs of contacts - Wendy declined and proceeded to say that unless I come in for an exam or put in an order I wouldn't be able to get the trial contacts. With the amount of years and money my family and I have spent, and I can't even get 4 individual contacts. Safe to say I will not be a returning customer.

The office is very clean and staff super friendly -- the Bible out kinda freaked me out, but I keep forgetting that I am in the Bible belt and other peoples religion is forced down your throat... oops sidebar... Anywho... like I said, the staff is super friendly and professional. I love how they research your insurance beforehand so that there are NO surprises. Also I loved how transparent they are when it came to costs... nothing hidden, it's all up front! So some computer glasses I need and get I will - in about a week! He did a very thorough exam and started me in Vision Therapy which is also available in his office. My other eye doctor told me my vision was fine. I am glad I got a second opinion. He is one of a very few neurological optometrists in this area. He has extensive training in helping kids and adults with learning disabilities, sleep issues, ADD, balance issues, vertigo, stroke and concussion recovery. I started seeing major improvements within the first week of starting vision therapy. I cannot say enough about this very special practice.

I was connected with an AI voice that told me my order was shipped and would be expected in 3-5 days. I called 4 days later and the voice said the same thing. This is the second bad experience I've had with Visinworks and I am totally turned off from coming back.

This is something that should be stated up front, NOT surprise, "I'm a medical doctor now and I get to charge you accordingly". Very disappointed in the whole experience. Even the front desk and check out person were nowhere as friendly as they usually are... Lastly, I've been a patient at Lux for at least 7 years and I was treated as if I had never been there before! One would think, I'd get a, "hello Mr. Such and such, welcome back, good to see you".
