This needed to be done before our flooring contractor could install the plank flooring. Time was an issue so we found Prime Lux Builders and Jose was professional in his review of our issue and fair in his quoting of the project. Every project is different so won't go into all the details except to say that he was able to get the job done in a day. There were some anomalies after the floor dried/cured and they promptly came back to fix those anomalies to our satisfaction. Jose and his team were courteous, professional, prompt. The work was done with attention to detail and to our satisfaction and at a fair cost to us. Customer service is as important to me as the quality and Prime Lux Builders checked the box on both of these areas for me.

We went back and forth for months leading up to the project, discussing and planning project costs to be sure it fit within my budget. Shortly after he started and finished the site work and concrete work I was sent an email from one of his employees which included a revised estimate. In the estimate Dave added a new line to the project which added $25,000 to the project with no other communication about it. This totally destroyed my budget for the project and his solution was to suggest that I do more of the work myself or forego materials. There were many other issues with the project including Dave's inability to accurately read my construction plans and complete basic construction steps, like properly installing a perimeter drain. If you have taken the time to read this, I recommend taking the time to find someone else.

We put up with it once but not twice: * Carpet was left filthy. Dog hair and grime left on the carpet. Lots of it. * We pay the minimum "3 room" rate ($125). Normally they make up for this by also cleaning our couch and easy chair - usually takes the guy 5 extra minutes. * Cleaning guy refused to do the couch, even though he was in and ready to leave after cleaning the one room in 15 minutes. He said, "I have other places to clean and I'm running behind" * When we showed him the dirt we were able to scoop off the carpet, he said "if you're not happy, just take it up with my manager about making it right" and took off. * We called the manager, mentioned the still-dirty carpet and the couch not getting done. He said, if you want the carpet cleaned again it's $125. * We said, we just had it cleaned today, and it's not clean. Will you make it right? He answered, if you're not happy with us, call another cleaner, and hung up. I guess, sadly, avoid these guys, they have lost their integrity.
