Not only did they have exactly what I needed when NO ONE else did, but i also got my flu shot (didn't hurt at all!) and personal, caring service that sincerely turned my day and week around. My Dr wanted me to use a specific cream for a terrible itch. She said Benzer Pharmacy was the place I needed to get it from. I was told on a Wednesday, that they would call me at home and overnight the cream. No one called. We called Thursday and was told it would go out overnight. We asked that it be sent the same day, especially since they made an error. Today is Monday and I just called, the cream was not sent out till SATURDAY. I was never told why, never told there was a delay. Now, supposedly it will be here tomorrow, but after checking Fedex, it seems it still did not get to the Fedex facility, only the label was printed. They rave about how caring they are on their phone message, seems pretty disorganized and non caring to me, I'd avoid them. read more

Great pharmacy! Never have to wait, the pharmacist is always in, and they will go out of their way to get a prescription ordered!!!

Last week a good friend of ours had MAJOR dental surgery. The surgery center prescribed pain meds for Acute post surgical pain and Nicole, the pharmacist at Carrollwood, refused to fill it. She said there was no reason for that med to be prescribed and she for sure didn't need that many and refused to fill it. She in the end said she wouldn't fill it because in the past the patient had received pain meds from another doctor and that is the only doctor she would take a script from. She was so rude! Actually she's mostly rude in the past times I had dealt with her. She is rude to people on the phone when they call. Mind you the post surgical patient was in the car in excruciating pain. It was about 4:30pm and they close at 5. I had to take her home and we called the doctor. The MD she said she would take a script from electronically ordered a new script. MD called us at 4:45 and said they had sent it over. Got back to pharmacy at 4:50 and Nicole said it hadn't been sent. Which was a lie. There was a pharmacist in training and she asked what type of surgery she had which was causing severe pain. Explained there was a huge abscess under teeth and they had drained it the week before. Needed a tooth removed and because a bridge was involved they had to remove all teeth, scrape and clean the bone and implant posts were implanted, the entire gum from side to side was sutured. The pharmacist in training was most sympathetic. Nicole could have cared less. So at 4:55 Nicole said she didn't know what was going on they hadn't sent it. She was whispering to the pharmacy in training, which was so damn rude. At 5 pm. Nicole walked up with an attitude and a paper in hand and said...well...he sent it but I'm not going to accept it. I said excuse me?! She very nasty said I can't accept this! It's not written correctly! I said what the hell is wrong with that one? She said. He didn't state it is for acute post surgical pain. I said you have got to be kidding me. This is ridiculous. You have spoken to the surgery center and you know she had major surgery and we did exactly what you requested and now you are refusing to fill this and this patient will suffer because you are not following doctors scripts. Who the hell does she think she is? She's not a MD! I left there and went to the MD and got a hand written script and he was not happy she refused his script or the prior one and the patient was suffering because the Marcaine from surgery had worn off. Took the script to Target and it was filled with no problems. My sons meds had been filled a the Carrollwood location and because of Nicole's attitude we took his back to Publix where they truly care about their customers. The post surgical patient and her mother have several scripts at Benzer Carrollwood. The pharmacy makes good money on them monthly but they will be moving their scripts after this horrible incident. Nicole Dziuba's lic needs to be reviewed and I am placing a report to the pharmacy board that she is trying to go out of her scope of practice. read more

There are several pharmacies I've used since I was injured almost 20 years ago and the staff at Benzer have been some of the most understanding that I've come across. With all the strict legislation many pharmacies are no longer filling prescriptions for longstanding patients and forcing them to hunt for a place to get the medications that allow them to thrive instead of suffering and being a victim of corporate and legislative changes. After Walgreens would no longer fill my medication after years of being a customer I was at the end of my rope. I spoke with their pharmacist and they were not only willing to accept me as a customer but they worked their magic to get me the best rates they could on medications I need in order to continue the difficult work I do. They are more like a friend than just a business to those who need their service. They are not only professional but they are compassionate towards those who are suffering from ailments from injury and age. There are still many great pharmacies and pharmacists out there but they can be few and far between but I feel lucky to have found them when it felt like I had nowhere else to turn. I feel that they not only saved me time, money, stress and even allowed me to focus more on my business. Nicole is one of the nicest pharmacist I've ever met. She really went out of her way to find a certain brand medication that I needed. When no other Pharmacy was able to get it here in the Tampa Bay area and all hope was lost, she was able to find it. She's been a godsend for me and I couldn't be more appreciative. I highly recommend this pharmacy to anyone looking for better customer service then what Walgreens or CVS could ever provide!! read more
