I had a fantastic experience working with Ben to replace the deadbolt on my door with a new Eufy smart lock. Ben was very responsive (even on a Saturday night) when I asked for a quote and gave me a reasonable price. He also asked good questions to ensure there would be no surprises during the installation. On install day he arrived on time and finished the job in 30 minutes. He also spent time walking through the app setup steps to ensure I was off to a smooth start with my new smart lock. I can see why he has 5 star reviews. read more

Came as promised. Had everything he needed in one bag. Did exactly what we needed, quickly and efficiently. Great job. Highly recommend Gal.

The batteries of our Schlage Sense electronic locks all died during the same week we were out of town. When we returned home, the locksmith met us and quickly picked one of the locks with his tool. It was not cheap, but he was able to work with us with a narrow time window. read more

He came over to rekey 5 locks, one key can control all locks. For my Doors I was surprised that you can use one key to control all locks. His address in Laguna Hills for his company. read more

I had this very old travel chest that somehow got locked a few years back. I never had the key, so I looked for a local locksmith to open as I knew it had all it's compartments and be great for storage. Ben was amazing. This lock was beyond stubborn so in the end he had to drill it but he got it done. Turned out when it got slammed shut it bent the locking mechanism. With that and the age of the lock it was just stuck. I'm so grateful Ben could open it and for an extremely reasonable price. Will definitely recommend him to others. read more

Rekeying entry/front door lock and dead bolt. Lock installed on sliding patio door. Arrived on time, very professional.

My buddy and I tried to replace my front door handles and deadbolt on our own. We got most of the work done, but the deadbolt hardware was giving us issues. Specifically, when we tightened the screws on the hardware, the deadbolt would become much more difficult to engage and retract. I called Ben on a Monday morning, explained the situation to him over the phone, and asked him how soon he could come fix the issue. He came out the very next morning during the time frame he said he would, which I was very pleased with. When he arrived, I explained the situation to him, he diagnosed the issue, and fixed it with ease. The deadbolt works like a charm now! Additionally, I asked him to replace a couple other door knobs and a deadbolt on two other doors at my home. I hadn't mentioned these tasks to him prior to him coming out, but he not only was he happy to do the additional work, but he did it quickly, efficiently, and very effectively. The two other doors now open, close, and lock perfectly (whereas before they did not work smoothly). Ben also re-keyed my doors so that they all now lock/unlock using the same key, which is ideal. All this work only took Ben about an hour to perform. Overall, Ben was great! He was kind, professional, considerate, and also very educational (he explained to me what the issue was with my deadbolt in a very easy-to-understand manner). I will definitely save his contact information and use him for any future locksmith work I need and I will refer him to anyone I know who also needs a locksmith. read more

Ben answered my call and came out same day. He is efficient, honest and took care of the lock on a lever handle that wasn't locking at all. He also noticed a problem with our front door lock and will replace the part and do the labor as well. I highly recommend Ben as he is knowledgable, polite, and honest. He is the owner operator of his business so does not send out other employees to do the work. Would call him again for any locksmith needs. read more

Needed some door handles fixed and door locks replaced on four doors total. Very good with their communication and responsiveness. Efficient work. Our tech had a little bit of a family issue that he had to go deal with in the middle of the project but he did come back promptly and fixed everything to our satisfaction and changed all the key locks so everything matches. Could have been a little bit cleaner but may have been frazzled due to the family emergency. All in all I would recommend them but I do think their prices are a bit on the high end. read more

What a refreshing experience dealing with a no nonsense business owner! I received 4 different quotes to change my front door lock from a key to a keyless lock. The prices were competitive from 3 out of 4 locksmiths. The reason I decided on Ben'z is his willing to do whatever it takes to make his customers happy attitude. He showed up on time, did a great job and left the place clean. He accommodated my tight schedule on short notice. I'm definitely going to use him on our next project. Highly recommend. 7/10/2020 I called Ben to come out because of a possible faulty French door lock. These locks are complicated and expensive to fix/ replace. He was super quick in responding to my request. After arriving, he accessed and checked the lock throughly and found no problem. It was the tenant that didn't know how to use the lock. He didn't charge me a dime! Wow, that almost never happens. If you have rental properties and want to have a good vendor on your team, someone who cares, a good communicator, quick to get the job done and is very reasonable in price, You NEED to call Ben'z Locksmith. read more

Ben is awesome. He is reliable and did great work. He showed up same day within an hour of us speaking. Most importantly he is kind and trustworthy. Highly recommend! read more

I didn't have time to shop around so not sure about prices... but in every other way, Ben was great. He was able to come out the next day. Was done within 1 hour. Few days later I realized that I had forgotten the 2 upstairs French doors so he came back out that same day. Waived $29 fee the second time. Cost $29 initial fee, then $55 for regular deadbolt lock and $85 per French door. Second time I called him he quoted $95 per French door..... He might have jacked up the price on me a little bit, like I said I didn't shop around as I was on a time crunch. Still giving 5 stars as he was able to come out right away. read more

It was an absolute pleasure to use with Ben'z Locksmith in Orange County. After the heavy rain, I was having issues getting my side gate to lock. He was able to come out the same day and he got the job done quickly. He had excellent communication skills, and not only called to let me know when he was on his way but also called when he arrived. He was able to diagnose the issue and fix it without having to call a separate gate company. The price was very reasonable and the relief of having a functional gate was priceless. On top of everything the service came with a one-year warranty. I will definitely use his services again. read more

The job on rekeying the doors was done in a timely and professional manner. Scheduling was easy.

Its's been a while, but better late than never. The owner came to help with our lock. The response time was short, and ver meticulous on follow up.
