Spicy Ginger Pork, gyoza, shrimp dumplings, spicy tuna roll - A variety of Asian cuisine takeout containers with gyoza, sushi, rice, and stir-fried meat and vegetables on a marble table.

Just my kind of place! Small unassuming place you would miss if you didn't have a GPS. So I was in the mood for Japanese takeout and this place nailed it. Very good menu with lots of choices. Reasonably priced and extremely friendly service. Inside doesn't have much in the way of seating which is fine. Actually a small Asian grocery is part of this place. So cool. The food is fresh, carefully prepared (looks pretty and appetizing) and tasty. Spicy ginger pork was very yummy. Not too much spice. Gyoza were amazing. I could make a meal out of that. Shrimp dumplings were ok. Could be from frozen. Sushi was good. Fresh, nothing crazy but it is a side along with the box. Lots of food for the price. I mean look at the pic! I will def be back!

Chicken Cutlet Box

A lot of people recommended this place, and I'm so glad I went. Ordered the udon, the chicken cutlet box with a spicy tuna roll instead of California roll, and a side of rice. Everything was fantastic. So simple, so comforting, even though this isn't something I grew up with. I did a little shopping while waiting for my food, and while there wasn't a huge selection, there were some great staples for me to restock my pantry at home. The food was well-packaged for the drive back, and nothing spilled. The people were kind, the place was clean, the food was great...what more do you need?

Salmon lovers, (miso soup and salad came with it) and dumplings - A meal with sushi, dumplings, salad, and miso soup is arranged on a wooden table, with utensils and condiments included.

This sushi was some of the best I've had in awhile and I eat a lot of sushi. The rice was so fresh and soft, the fish was fresh, the miso soup was perfect and the dumpling sauce was so tangy. I haven't had ginger dressing since moving to the area and the salad was so refreshing here. I am so glad we went there today!! The deal was amazing as well. Such good prices! I even tried a new drink and loved it! Overall great experience.

Spicy pork ginger bento box! Seasoned so well that I order it every time. I'll try to check out the rest of the menu next time.

Bento-Ya is an Asian grocery store and cafe hybrid. The selection of groceries is small, down to the necessities/staples, however their menu is as plentiful as any other Japanese restaurant minus the hibachi. You have an array of sushi, kitchen dishes, and bento boxes to choose from. I've had the spicy pork ginger bento box and it's packed with flavor and not spicy to me. The bento boxes are good portions and includes the main entree, miso soup, ginger salad, seaweed salad, pork dumplings, rice, and half of a cali or spicy tuna roll. Place and pay for your meal order at the counter. There's a small seating area in the back room past the two grocery aisles. It's not ideal for large groups, more so a quick dine in spot. Don't expect alcohol and wait service where you can spend hours there shooting the sake. It's not that type of venue. There's a small parking lot, but if that's ever full, there's residential street parking available. The owners are friendly, the location is on a main road, the food is good, and you can do some shopping too.

The sushi is so good! The grocery section inside is also a great place to find authentic Japanese treats and foods.

Ordered delivery and I'm honestly still thinking about this meal…read more First of all, it arrived so fast and everything was packaged perfectly. Nothing spilled, everything still looked fresh, which already put me in a good mood. Now the food... I cannot believe how good the lobster roll is. If you haven't had it, you haven't lived. It's that kind of good. Like pause mid-bite, close your eyes, what is happening right now kind of delicious. The miso soup was a whole experience by itself. Warm, comforting, and it just felt nourishing. Not just something on the side, but something you actually appreciate with every sip. And the Brussels sprouts... I added just a little soy sauce and wow. Completely took them to another level. So simple but so good. This is one of those places where everything hits. Fast delivery, great packaging, and food that actually lives up to the hype. I'm already bookmarking this spot.

I haven't done the sushi go round before, and my guy was excited to go during date weekend, so go…read morewe did! Overall, it's a lot of fun, but maybe a bit overstimulating? You are seated at a tablet in front of a conveyor belt with the sushi making it's way around the restaurant. You can take whatever catches your eye as it passes in front of you, or you can order from the tablet. If you order from the tablet, little cars bring the food on a second, higher conveyor belt above the first one, or sometimes a robot brings it to your seat. So there are 2 moving belts, robots, and servers. It's a lot! Fun, but be aware. It is cool that you can see things moving past and try different things. The plates on the belt are also less than a full order, which means you can try more things, if that's your style. Service is pretty quick since you're helping yourself from the belt. They do a good job making sure there is a variety of items on the belt and seemed to restock pretty quickly. You can mostly chose from rolls and nigiri. I do like American style rolls, and enjoyed the options. The guy prefers nigiri. We ordered some tempura and picked some nigiri from the menu as well. I really enjoyed the veggie tempura. They have good salmon - we tried the peppered salmon, which he thought was too much, but was smokey and peppery, and I enjoyed. There was also a spicy yellowtail, and plain salmon that was also nice quality. We shared an ice cream sundae with one of the little fish shaped cakes for dessert, which was really good. I liked the little cake with the red bean paste inside. It was fun and pretty low key.
