We ordered on a busy Friday night thru the app and still got our food in a good time. ++Teriyaki chicken bowls ++Wok fried rice ++Roti Canai (add extra roti!!) ++dumplings The roti canai is so so good, and the amount of curry given is incredible, it's good to order extra roti and then I always enjoy the curry sauce later the next day. There is free parking in this plaza but may require some extra walking depending on when you go because it's a busy plaza for nightlife/families/movies/restaurants/shopping. I'm addicted to Bento. Any time anyone asks where we should eat, Bento is my answer 99% of the time. I went to this location in Dania Pointe and it was a great experience. The build-your-own poke bowl is what I get most of the time. I'm so glad they added the smaller size option, because I can never finish the full-size one. When I got it, it looked deceptively small, but it was still a generous portion. This was my entire lunch and I still didn't finish, and everything was delicious as always. They also had great specials: $2.88 milk teas for lunar new year! Combined with my rewards from the app, my lunch was only $10! A great deal for the quality. Service was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful; the only thing is it did take a while to get my food. No big deal because I wasn't in a rush. Visited this Asian restaurant for the first time. The restaurant has a great location, delicious food and lots of parking available. Great menu and a very comfortable indoors and outdoors seating. The dynamic of ordering is very efficient, lots of pictures and easy navigation while I ordered my meal. There are a lot of options to choose and a variety of meals that also includes noodle bowls, sushi and fried rice combos. Was shopping at Dania Pointe when I realized I needed dinner so I decided on Bento, as I've never ate there before. The options and savings were endless. Whether you want hibachi, drunken noodles, sushi etc they have it. Stopped by on a Tuesday and realized they had a BOGO on boba tea and the teriyaki chicken bowl was also only $9. Overall, I went with the General Tso Bento Box and had some edamame (with garlic) and Krab Rangoon on the side. Everything was pretty good, nothing extraordinary but it did the job. This place was cool, but also a little bit strange. You order from a screen and not a human - plus 2 stars for that! It's on par as far as price, for what you get IMO it's decent. You take a tent number and find a table so they can bring you your food. That's fine but our food didn't come all at once. They brought 2 bowls of food to our table and shoved both into our faces, I did not order a bowl and they were asking what my husband ordered? Once he reminded her she took the other bowl away, at the same time I was saying I ordered a bento box not a bowl... she ended up taking that bowl to the people next to us. Gross. Then my plate showed up, and my husbands empty cup to go to the drink machine. I ordered a thai tea that showed up later. After this they brought my sauce for dipping, I choose orange, it was good, but tasted like sweet and sour. Who knows if they got it wrong, and finally mid meal they brought over our eggs rolls on tiny plates. It was just a strange way of delivering the food. It did taste good and as mentioned above the price is worth it. I got the tofu and chicken meal, which is +2$ to both but it seems to have been half portions of each, so not sure the up-charge but here were are. I would like to try another location to see what it's like, probably won't come all the way out back for this place, but if in the area I wouldn't rule it out. It's fast, casual and modern. I was in the area for work and Bento was within walking distance. I was able to use the kiosk to order my food. Although the food was good, the wait was a bit long and I feel like the price was a bit high for what I received. I also asked for sauce on the side and was charged an extra $1.50, so an orange chicken rice bowl essentially cost like $20. $12.85 for the orange chicken and $4.50 to upgrade to fried rice so $17.35 plus the cost of the sauce. read more

Bento was a go-to spot for me in college so I was happy when it expanded into south Florida when I moved back to Broward, years ago. It's a lot more pricey than it used to be but the portion sizes are definitely bigger. I wish they offered smaller portions for less money like the poke bowl (I think they still do the kid size for this?) but overall, the food is good! This past visit, I got their newest menu item, the hibachi. If you like your hibachi saucey, this is ideal for you! Of course, I had to get the side of white sauce to go with the hibachi. Located in Dania Point, this is a Pei Wei style Japanese restaurant. They now have touch screens to order on that are very complicated. They really slow down the whole experience. You take a number, and 15 minutes or so later, they bring it to your table. 3 meals and 2 tiny boba teas will set you back about $60. Large portions but nothing special. For that price you are better off going to a Japanese restaurant. A couple of other things that turned me off was that there were a ton of fruit flys, and the tables were all sticky. read more

Inside of Dania Pointe mall there is a row of restaurants next to one another. Decided to check out Bento! Parking was easy to find, I definitely recommend going on a weekday or earlier in the day as this mall does tend to get busier on weekends and later on the day. Upon going into the restaurant I was greeted by a very clean, well lit environment. Staff did not greet us right away and had us waiting at the counter for about 5-10 minutes after we made eye contact. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Rice Bowl. I was given a number and grabbed a seat. The food took a nice amount of time (which is good for chicken) and was brought to my table. The server was kind but be aware you will need to grab utensils, napkins and such beforehand. They did also have a hand wash area that was nice. The food itself was absolutely delicious. Chicken was cooked to perfection and breaded quite nice. I do wish the chicken cuts were a bit bigger and not so thin cut. Presentation on the plate was mediocre at best. Overall, I left satisfied with the food quality and taste. No greeting you order at a machine but then have to flag someone down to purchase wine they don't even have in stock. I settled for a Stella Artois. The woman with the tatted face that walked over and snipped at me they don't take cash and the manager who said she didn't mean it that way were the icing on the cake. I ordered sushi and noodles. Both were good but nothing to write home about. I do think the vegetables should be cut smaller so it's not tiny bits of chicken and huge chunks of vegetables. I will give 5 stars to the young lady who rang me up and offered suggestions. 5 stars to the warm white rice in the bento box but 1 star for the lukewarm/cold food. The tofu was fried/dried so much that it was edible. This was my first time so I do not know if this is the way that it is served. Total disappointment and waste of money. And it was not cheap either. It was nice that they have a sink for hand washing at the beverage station. I only put 4 stars because I feel like for the price, they could add more rice to the bento and the lo mein is served cold.. But other than that, they never miss with the flavors! That ginger salad?? We'd been to the Bento in Boca (which is in an area of schools and business) and liked it. I'd read about this restaurant t chain from Howard H's yelp reviews. So when we saw this location, we figured we'd try it and compare. This smaller location is in a more locals and touristy area of Dania Pointe -- in a row of fast food restaurants. We chose to eat inside as it was windy out, but there are outside tables, as well. You order and pay at the counter and they bring your food to your table. We'd tried their bento boxes at the other location. It was so much food that I decided to go with a smaller option. Howard had written about his usual dish and I decided to try it. I ordered the bowl with chicken katsu and Japanese curry. You can get it over rice or noodles. I wanted ramen, but they no longer offer them, so I chose lomein noodles. The other noodle option is udon which is fatter and wider. There was a lot of chicken in the dish. Each piece is panko battered and fried then cut into long wide strips. It was served on top of the spaghetti-like noodles. Mixed in to the seasoned noodles were some carrots. The curry was served on the side. It was slightly sweet and very very good. I can see why Howard always orders this. I wound up taking some of the chicken and curry sauce home for a later meal. My husband ordered their coconut red curry with added shrimp -- also as a bowl over noodles. There were a blend of vegetables mixed into the slightly spicy curry. And several shrimp on top. He also liked his dish as well. For fast casual Japanese food, this is really quite good. And the prices are also reasonable -- especially for the amount of food in each serving. We also received our meals fairly fast even though they were quite busy. Service was friendly although there was a bit of a language problem. I asked what was in a particular dish and the gal taking our order just kept repeating a memorized line over and over again. It was kind of funny, but I was trying to make sure nothing was in it that I might be allergic to and/or didn't like. Just to be sure, I ordered something else than I was originally going to get. My cousins and I happen to pass by Bento Asian kitchen, leaving the movies one Sunday and we decided to try them. The ambience of Bento is of a futuristic café with red and beige highlights throughout the entire restaurant. When we walked in, we were greeted by two friendly servers, who helped us navigate through the menu. Bento cook their orders as they come in, which I thoroughly enjoyed because that means the food is always hot and fresh. We ordered a plethora of items such as crab Rangoons, Boba tea, fried rice, Shanghai bowl, and the orange chicken Bento box. Their food is very delicious and fresh. The crab raccoons were packed with filling and crispy. The Bento box was my favorite because you get a little taste of everything; you get to try their protein options, noodles, rice, and ginger salad. Also, this was my first time trying Boba, and I got the boba lychee slush with popping lychee bobas which had a delicious and unique taste. I visited this restaurant in the Boca location and always thought their food is good. Since this new location in Dania Pointe just opened recently, I knew I had to pay a visit. In this visit, I came by to pick up a couple of lunch orders on a Friday. I arrived around 11 am just after they had just opened the shop. Maybe because they just recently opened so the staff had not finished preparing the food yet, I had to wait about 30 minutes to get my food. But I guess it was worth the wait. My chicken katsu tasted great. I ordered my chicken with Japanese Curry and it was delicious. The rice was cooked right which was soft and fluffy. My wife copied my order and she also enjoyed it very much. I'd probably come back maybe during the weekend because a 30-minute wait is just way too long on a working week. Yesterday was my second time getting lunch from Bento in Dania. The first time was through uber eats when I ordered a very underwhelming egg fried rice. This time around I placed a take out order through Yelp. It was super easy! I like how they have small orders of rolls so that way you can mix and match. I decided on the Mex Roll, the JB Roll and a chocolate milk tea. The JB roll was good. The salmon is smoked which is not my preference, but that's just a personal taste. I thought the Mex Roll was delicious and would return just for that. My total with tip was just over $17 which for sushi is not uncommon, however, the rolls were so incredibly tiny (size not amount of pieces).
