A great place for a well-stocked selection of dog and cat food, treats, toys, as well as other items like nose and paw balm. I'm not giving the one star because I don't have dogs or cats and instead own another animal like some reviewers. I take this store for what it is. The staff was engaging and asked us what we needed and went further to give us pros and cons for products based on my sister's dog's preferences. And even after we spent less than $10, the clerk thanked us and invited us back. read more

Small shop. Lots of food and treats. They even legit have pig snouts, duck heads, real stuff your pet will crave. They're treats are really pretty and look good enough to eat myself! When I went the whole block had their internet down. They packaged my order up and promised to call as soon as the system would be back up and I got a call maybe a half hour later letting me know its be the next morning to make sure I wasn't waiting around. Very considerate. When I came and get my order in the morning they put a bunch of extras in my bag for what they considered an i convenience. So sweet. This is a cool little pet store. My wife and I have been spoiling our pets with purchases from this store since they opened a few years ago. The owner, Catherine, stocks only holistic-style pet food (think "Whole Foods" for cats and dogs) and her prices are reasonable, if a little more expensive, than chain stores. This shop hosts several pet charities and has adoption events frequently, too, if you're looking for a furry beast to add to your home. We stopped here on the way from the market since we were in the area. This is a cute little place with some unique items and some deals. It was fun looking around but it's very small and has creaky floors. I was being very polite but the girl working at the register didn't seem too kind or even happy to be there. All in all pretty satisfied with everything we got for our fur baby! I like the downtown area around here too. read more

Great local place to buy quality food for your fur kids - they don't sell the garbage you see in big box or grocery stores, these foods are quality - lots of varieties of frozen raw, which is great! Friendly folks, will special order and call you when your order is in, and they have a loyalty club which helps when you have multiple pets...Love it! read more

I've been going to this store for maybe 7 years or so, including when they were previously Go Dog Go. Still travel here since we moved a town over. They have a great selection and the staff are very knowledgeable. I purchase dry and wet food for my cats and dog. We love buying their freeze dried animal parts for our dog as there is always so much variety as well as quality. They have bakery type treats for dogs as well and my son loves picking a "special" treat out. This past fall I bought a new harness and coat for my dog from here and they have worked excellently. I liked this place when it first opened... I was informed previously by one of the ladies there that if I brought the info for our dogs brand of food in to their store that they would see if they could order it and price match brothers supply. I brought the receipt from Brothers in on Monday and was told they would call me the next day and let me know. I never received a call and went in today. Today, the same lady from Monday said they called me (no missed call or voicemail on my cell) and that they could order the same food but would not price match. Wish there was someone else working in there today so I didn't have to wait 20 min in a line to find out I can just keep shopping at Brothers supply for our dogs food. I think it's great to support small local businesses, but when customer service is sacrificed in addition to saving a few bucks... then shopping at a competitive business is a no-brainer. read more

Did the original owners of Go Dog Go leave when it became Bentley's Pet Stuff? I never minded the 10+ mile drive to Go Dog Go, but Customer Service is gone now. Today I called Bentley's to see if they still carried a certain dog harness. I had purchased 3 of them when it was Go Dog Go. The lady who answered said "Yes we still carry them and have different sizes." I made the 10+ mile 25 minute drive and walked into the store. The 2 ladies were working in the 2nd room on a bag of dog food and seemed annoyed by being interrupted. When I asked where the particular harnesses were that I was looking for, they said they didn't carry them. I explained that I called first and was told they did have them. One lady then said "Oh yes, I am sorry we only have this one. And this one. They pointed out one XL and one XS. I needed something between S and LX, not yet sure which sizes. I had one dog with me and one dog in the car. They barely even acknowledged I had a dog with me until I mentioned I needed to fit the 55 lb dog at my side, as well as the 50 lb sibling in the car. They suggested a size for both and said I could order somewhere online. They never even patted the dog on the head or said anything other than offer to get me to switch to another harness. They then walked away from me. I tried to follow them and engage them in a conversation about CBD oil for pets. They seemed like I was wasting their time and didn't try to answer any questions I had. When I said I would be back with my other dog they didn't even acknowledge me at all. I returned with the other dog, leaving the 1st one in the car. I told them the dog's name and they had no response. They didn't even seem to care and continued on with their own conversation. WHO DOES THAT? How could these women work in a PET SHOP and not care about the pets in the store. They ignored me as a customer. They ignored my dogs. I will NEVER return to this store. What a waste of over an hour of my time. Batavia Bentley's so so much closer but at least they were honest when I called and they said they didn't carry those harnesses so I went to Oswego's Bentley's. These women should be fired or quit, or be trained to cater to pet owners and their pets. Horrible experience which I will not repeat. Hey Oswego Bentley's, when you have a booth at the events I frequent, I will be sure to tell you in person how disappointed I was on 2/21/20 with my visit to your store! read more
