Put in an online order and this girl brings it out to my car. Two 40# bags of dog food are squished into the cart. I use their curbside pickup because of a back injury; the girl tells me she can't lift them to put them in my car behind the drivers seat, through the window. So, I get out to help, saying that I can't lift them out of the basket but if she helps with that I can put them into the car. She lifts them out of the basket one by one, and THREW the bag at me, which startled me, but I quickly put it into the car, luckily fast, because she threw the other bag at me as well. If you're having a bad day, you shouldn't be in a customer facing role! And now my back is sore and I have a Dr's appointment to evaluate it. read more

I have a 6 month old miniature dachshund. I brought him here to get groomed for the first time today. The service I scheduled was for a bath, ear cleaning, nail trim, and tooth brushing. When I returned 2 HOURS later (that's when I was called to say he was finished) the groomer told me she couldn't brush his teeth, couldn't clean his ears, and couldn't dry him off after his bath. Not to mention, we have and use the same puppy shampoo as them and our puppy just smells like a wet dog. but don't worry! she COULD cut my puppy's nails all the way down to the paw leaving him bleeding, and cracked his other nails in half. He is limping around and wincing now as he walks. This seriously looks like someone who has never groomed a dog a day in their life woke up this morning and decided to fuck around with nail trimmers. If you love your pet, don't make the same mistake I did by bringing them here to be groomed. So angry. read more

This is my favorite place to get my dog groomed. I have been coming here since my dog was a puppy and the team is amazing with him. They are so patient, gentle and help ease him of his grooming anxiety. I highly recommend Amanda, she is the best groomer we've ever had! She always makes Murphy so happy and look great. She has helped us with finding a grooming style, when we didn't really know what we wanted. Whenever I leave my dog with her, I know he's in great hands and that I never need to worry. I bought an African Fat Tail Gecko from this store, crazy because they're rarely ever sold in pet stores. She's absolutely beautiful with an amazing temperament but unfortunately she has parasites :( She went from 26 grams to 10 in a couple weeks! For me it was easy to treat because I know how to do it but not sure if she'll make a full recovery. Just something to be mindful of! The staff is super sweet and the stock is always great! My first visit to Pet Supplies Plus. My son brought his dog with him from N.C. for a visit. He had not had time to get her groomed so I offered to do that. Many places were full so we opted for the self serve dog wash. The young lady at the counter was very polite and helpful and told me where to go. The towels are furnished. There was a sink for a small dog that was waist high. That was good. The water however was cold. Tried another hose, cold. Contacted a floor member. He said that he was sorry but there was nothing he could do. The warm water goes to the grooming side first and if we were washing her at the same time, they would get the warm first. They should tell you upfront about that or fix the problem. Went to the groomer side when done with bath to get her nails clipped and those ladies were caring and had great service. I would highly reccomend the groomer side but not the self serve bath with cold water. read more

Pet supplies plus has been my go to for dog food and supplies for the last 5 years. The staff have been wonderful and appear to be extremely knowledgeable on animal care and food suggestions. However, I recently have become aware of the neglectful habitats they have for their reptiles and guinea pigs. I find the setup to be incredibly abusive. I have voiced my concerns to staff and there does not appear to have been appropriate action taken for the animals. Pet Supplies Plus owner, please give these reptiles and guinea pigs appropriate care while they wait to find their forever homes. Leopard geckos need 3 hides: warm, moist, and cold. There seems to be only one hide in your reptile tanks. read more

I do love the convince of this store and do usually have a good experience there but the staff needs to be a little more welcoming/friendly. Sometimes I feel like the crew at night almost tries to avoid customers. One girl was actually working on homework, which I don't really care about but she didn't even talk to me. My pug is a very picky eater and it makes finding things he will eat a challenge. They allow you to return food (bag needs to be mostly full) if your pet doesn't like it. She is very receptive to his needs as he is anxious when he gets groomed. By far and away the cleanest, nicest, best selection large chain pet food store near us. We have the marts and co's but they sell sub par food. I purchase raw food for dogs from a mom and pop shop down the street but if it's an emergency and we run out, I like knowing pet supplies plus has us covered in the quality raw food department. I come here often to get my dog's food and ferrets' food. If anyone's owned a ferret before, you know that their diet is very restrictive, and introducing new foods may or may not be welcomed by a ferret. That being said, I was completely out of ferret food (totally my fault, I had meant to get some the day before and forgot and NEEDED to get some that day). I stopped in the store and went to where their food normally is, but the shelf was completely bare where their food normally is. I took a chance and asked an associate if they kept anything in the back, particularly the brand of food I was looking for. A man who I assumed was a manager came up front and let me know that they just received a shipment that day, but everything was still in huge boxes, and it would take a while to finally find the brand of food I was looking for. I was disappointed, but I totally understood his situation. He asked if I wanted to try a different brand, but I told him that my older ferrets may not eat new food, and I didn't want to waste $20 on something they may or may not like. He then offered to give me a few cups of the Marshall Ferrets' brand to hold my ferrets over for the night since I was completely out - completely free to me. I thought it was super nice of him and the store to do that for me considering it was my fault I hadn't picked up more food before they ran out, and because he could've charged me the regular price for the food. The staff definitely care about animals and pets, and they were over-the-top accommodating for me. Definitely will continue coming to this location for my pet food! read more

I was amazed with the amount of knowledge Austin, the young looking sales attendant who helped us, had regarding food options for my dog with digestive issues! My wife has done extensive research on dog foods and pitfalls of legumes and lentils on Golden Retrievers. Austin worked with us to locate food options that we were comfortable with based on our research. He was well aware of the reports that we concerned with and provided advice that would work for our Puppy regardless if the reports findings held up over time. Have used the self groom room with my two german shepherds. Love it. It is so easy to bathe them. The shampoo is in the water... like at a car wash. They have a super efficient dryer. My husband and I were done bathing and drying both dogs in under an hour. Great pricing for this service too! read more
