I gave the staff very minimal guidance because I really didn't know what would be best. The staff were receptive and completely understanding. I felt like I was in great hands to be honest. What I thought would be an all day wait turned out to be only a couple of hours, if that! My dog was trimmed, shampooed, and had her nails clipped. It was a VERY easy experience! Will be coming back on the regular now. It's cash or check only which was a little bit of an inconvenience. Only because I had to dig out my check book and dust it off.

When I called to reschedule, I was told I was no longer allowed to come back as a customer. There was no other explanation except that the owner apparently instructed her staff to tell me I am no longer welcome there. The staff are kind and sweet, and have always done a wonderful job, so learning that my dogs can no longer be groomed here is disappointing. I want to caution everyone that this business does not send appointment reminders like texts, emails nor calls, expects customers to pay in cash, and 100% attendance.

She was so kind, and was able to make an appointment for the following week. When I got there, my dog was greeted and welcomed by all of the staff members. She felt like a celebrity! The groomer then came out to introduce herself to my dog and I. She noticed that my poor dog had a matted coat in some areas. The groomer told me that she had to be cut pretty short, and I was very upset. However, both the groomer and assistant manager reassured me that it was the best option for my dog. I showed them some photos of dogs that had haircuts that I liked, and they said they would try their best to match it. I left my dog a little hesitant, but I was so nice to know that they had my dog's best interest in mind! My dog was ready to be picked up within a very reasonable time, and she looked AMAZING! 1000x cuter than I ever imagined. I was so impressed! She left feeling so much better! We brought him to The Dog Wash for the self service wash today and honestly had so much fun! The owners are so sweet and helpful, and Auburn did such an amazing job cutting our anxious dog's nails. They provide everything from soaps to scrubbers to aprons to towels, even lifting help if you have a big guy like we do. The stations are super clean and well stocked. They even gave him a cute bandana on our way out! And at $10 for a wash and $5 for a nail trim, it was a steal! This will definitely be our go to spot next time Mackie needs a spa day :)

Saying that also states that "I know better"…read more My dogs are all small bath dogs and as much as I love huskys I swore I would never own one because of the hard work it entails keeping that coat up. Well fate had it that I fell in love with the owner of a Wooly Husky. I had to stop grooming myself due to severe asthma that sent me to the er multiple times. It was difficult because I absolutely loved grooming. Hard work but rewarding. Still I took my dog to a self serve dog wash but the dryers can barely blow out a candle let alone a hairy husky. I had a friend of mine groom her in the fall and between October and yesterday her coat got out of control. So tail tucked between my legs I brought her into Blooming Tails. These girls are real and I could tell that helping my dog feel more comfortable was important to them. She's a fire cracker for brushing her back side yet they carried on. When I picked her up she looked like a new dog and I felt so much better knowing she can be more comfortable in this summer heat.
