It is an older space filled with many aisles and supplies so it's a bit tight in there but nice to have lots of options. My dog loved going in and checking out all the bones and toys they had out. They have the No Hide bones in many flavors (my dog chose salmon). It's fun to take your dog in and check everything out. You won't leave empty handed. If I lived in Cederburg this would be my go to pet store.

They are very helpful and willing to work with you to get what you want from their suppliers. They also cover more types of pets than some of the smaller specialty stores. The prices are competitive and they offer lots of sales, bargains, and coupons. They still do delivery and will bring your package to the car if you order mobile! The workers are friendly and helpful if you need assistance. The best part is you can bring your well behaved shopping assistant inside on a leash! Everyone is always happy to see your well-behaved helper. Nobody, however, appreciates a pest and please clean up the mess on the aisle if you're "baby" makes it! Okay? You'll find great value! You'll find great service. You'll find great products. There's lots of parking! What more could you ask for?

You see, my betta fish of many years (RIP DMX Dogg - 5 years, and T. Swizzle - 3.5 years) passed in February within a week of each other. They were in separate tanks their entire life but had a longing for each other; now their little souls can rest in eternity with each other. It's like The Notebook! GAH! ANYWAY I really wanted a new fish friend. I love fish! I studied fish in school, I work with fish, fish are great!!! There were very few people in sight. One cashier. I had never been here before so I had to wander aimlessly to find the Bettas. I totally passed them 2 times before I saw them on an end cap display. So I started looking and talking to them. The subspecies (crowntail, veil tail, twin moon tail, etc) were fairly accurately displayed along with prices. The subspecies was listed on the lid of their little display cup as well. It would have been helpful if prices were written or stuck on the cups/lids as several were out of place. However, price is not how I pick a friend. I first saw these adorable little girly fish. I wanted 2! But I told myself, no. No, Angie, no. I can only afford to feed 1 more mouth in my household. After discussions and careful deliberation, I chose "the one:" my new BFF! She was so lively and fun!!! Meanwhile I had begun to look at the male fish. There were so many potential BFFs!!! I was stuck in a conundrum. One really spoke to me, he was a brilliant blue color. I put him next to the girl fish. BOOM! There were solid feels between the two. --In all this time, which was more than 20 mins, one employee said she would assist me and I never saw her again.-- I took my 2 new BFFs and wandered around the store for a while. I found some excellent clearance dog toys, so of course I had to purchase a couple for my pup that was patiently waiting at home. I finally interacted with an employee when I checked out, which was fine but I would have asked a question or two regarding the fish. It was probably best, though, because I would have likely purchased a new tank and more fish......... Did I mention I love fish?!?! Jay Z and Queen B are the perfect co-workers while I work at home. They are healthy and happy, they offer input and relieve stress. I couldn't have asked for anything more! Also, my dog destroyed 1 toy but the other is her favorite and is keeping it "nice." Overall, the store was clean and they appear to take very good care of their fish and other little friends (birds, gerbils, hamsters). I would recommend this store if shopping for a new Betta, based on my intimate experience with their current stock, and doggy toys! They had good deals!!!! Things were going fine for several years until this past year when we installed ring cameras, with the worst event occurring yesterday evening while we are still away out of the country on day 4 of a 7 day trip. We hired Tom and Angela to come to our home for 4 visits per day, 3x15 minutes and 1x30 minute visit daily to feed our fish, two cats, and care for our blind dog. We requested that our dog be walked, played with, brushed, and generally shown empathetic treatment and attention while we are away. Numerous times over the past year, we have observed Tom during the 30 minute visits sitting on his phone and not engaging whatsoever with our dog other than feeding her and taking her outside to go to the bathroom. We were not thrilled about that, but we had been working with them for so long we overlooked it. Last night was the worst though... Our dog is blind, so she needs to be treated with extra care and love. Tom spoke to her gruffly and yanked on her collar/leash to try to get her to stand up, and she slipped her collar. He put the collar back on her, and started to drag her once again. She slipped her collar, and he aggressively grabbed her so firmly by the scruff of her neck that she was yelping and crying. I tried to call him twice to address what I felt was very inappropriate treatment of our beloved pet, and received no response by phone text or email. I emailed their main email address trying to get in touch with Angela for a conversation, also no response. When Angela came to our home to do the bedtime visit, I spoke to her through the cameras and asked her to give me a call at which time I explained the situation and my concerns regarding Tom's treatment of our dog. I requested that Angela performed the remaining visits for the next three days until our return. I sent her the video and Tom the video from the incident yesterday evening. I received a text message this morning from them that they are not willing to care for our pets any longer. Upon our return, I was not planning to use their services ever again. So here we are, in a foreign country, without care for our pets. You will find more empathetic and caring, pet sitters elsewhere, do not put your beloved pets at risk by putting them into the care of people may decide they are no longer able/willing to care for them while you are out of town.
