Quaint cute pet store with all kinds of stuff for your fur baby. This store is located in downtown…read moreFrankfort. It's a great store to find stuff to spoil your pets. I did enjoy all the stuff they had and the owner and people working there were super friendly!

I love…read morefinding a great dog store that was designed by someone that loves his/her dog as much as I do because you can be sure that the products they carry are quality and going to be the best out there. First off, I'll say that some of the items are way too rich for my blood. I mean, I wouldn't spend $39 for a sweater for myself let alone my dog, but I know there are people out there that would. (Erin L. hit it on the head when she said Paris Hilton-ish..Paris could afford that stuff.) They did have a great selection of sale leashes and dog collars for $5. I found a great pink studded collar on the sale rack but it looked a little small to fit my dog. The homemade dog treats were what brought us here and they didn't disappoint. They had a big selection and I didn't think that the prices were unreasonable. You could get a medium/large sized dog biscuit per piece (between $1.50-4 each) or you can buy per pound for the smaller treats. We ended up with a 1/2 pound of some yogurt covered treats and I believe it cost about $6. The dogs love them already and I feel good knowing that I'm giving them quality, fresh treats with no worries of a pending recall. We also ended up buying a few miscellaneous items: a doggy toothbrush, a giant bone, and this stuff in a red bottle called Pet Corrector. I'd read about the pet corrector online before and was happy to see they had it. My yorkie can be quite monstrous at times, completely disregarding any commands. We've tried clicker training, positive reinforcement, obedience classes and nothing has helped. Miraculously, in the two days we've been using it, he's actually started listening. He hates the sound of it, therefore does anything to avoid having to hear it. We're already planning a trip back to Chew on This to get the bigger bottle. I can't say enough good about this product and am really glad that I was able to finally get my hands on some of it. The service was equally as great as the selection. I was given a $5 coupon to bring back next time I come in since I was a new customer. They also signed me up for their email and mailing list so I can be alerted of any new sales. This is a must visit for all dog owners who care about getting the best of the best products for the furriest member of the family.

Over the years of patronizing this store I've never had a bad experience with anyone working there or the products they sell. Everybody is all smiles (who couldn't when dogs walk in to shop all day), and very knowledgeable of the products they sell. The prices don't seem to outrages to me but I don't have a lot of other pets stores to compare too. Petsmart is all I've known since I was a whipper snapper. Recently I went to have my doggos insanely crazy raptor nails trimmed up. Backstory: I adopted her in 2013 and was advertised as a puppy. She looks like one, but she sure wasn't a pup. No matter, this doggo was in rough shape. She needed me (in the end I needed her more). The fur around her neck was sparse and her skin was kinda nasty from what I was told is mange. She was found in a forest I'm told and had gotten into what not but thats all I know. Over the year I was able to fix everything myself: Her neck has a thick coat of fur, her once rough nasty ears with crusty edges now are fully recovered and feel like silk. Her nails however, were still super long, sharp, and considered weapons. She would scratch people on accident just trying to give them love. Her favorite game is to pull your mouth open with her paws and try to french kiss. Obviously no thanks doggo-- and secondly I'd go to work daily looking like I was attacked by a woman's nails up and down my face. I'd get her nails trimmed and they were still long. My luck however came today when my normal raptor blade sharpener place decided to not update their hours online. Annoyed, I decided to give Petsmart a try. Its about $10 for a clipping, but it was worth every penny. My doggo is REALLY sensitive to any sort of discomfort or slight pain; especially touching her nails. Heather was absolutely amazing with my doggo and used a dremel tool to get the job done. As expected, Doggo wasn't enjoying it and Heather allowed her to take a break and walk around a bit to calm down so part two of the operation was a lot easier. Her nails have never been that short ever before. She hasn't scratched me yet, and shes silent walking on the floor. I wish I would have tried a different groomer before. I was told her quick was unusually long. Heather got those raptor claws looking like doggo nails again. Doggo seems much happier and less sensitive around her nails now. I am just happy because my doggo is more comfortable and less dangerous to her loved ones and fan base. Thank you AGAIN Heather and Petsmart. You have earned all the money I spend on my pets material, living, and grooming needs.

(It was 12:50) . I'm thinking a better response would've been. I'll be with you in a minute , but someone came up to her and they were talking so I waited around .....four minutes to 1 and still no acknowledgment and still talking. apparently too busy to help the animals get adopted but not to busy to talk. South suburban put the animals there to get them exposure , they are wasting their time . I won't be buying any of my animal needs here. being that petty to make someone wait .?? Besides myself I saw no other customers in the store.
