In which I just had them diagnose & fix my cooling system issue with my radiator during the hot Summer of August! Pete, the Owner is very knowledgeable & very trustworthy that is rare in the Auto Mechanic Shop World today that has values in which shows on how he values his Customers! He's a great listener & applies your auto problems discription in your itnitial communication to help get the diagnosis right( the 1st time).. His shop hasn't given me a wrong diagnosed ever! I have learned that other auto Mechanical Shops in the area are in this business for gain & not caring to get a repeat customer back after ripping that customer off the first time... And, have mistreated their customers in order to make a quick buck, not with Pete! His shop is family Owned & his Dad is an old school Mechanic that is great & his mark is shown in Pete's character in which is very rare these days in trusting certain Business. During the Virus Pandemic they are very careful & respecful in handling your vehicle! 1/5 Stars - Complete Nightmare…read more I brought my truck in for a check engine light, though it was running perfectly fine at the time. After their diagnostic, I approved $700 in repairs for a purge valve and vapor canister. I was asked to pick it up at 3:00 PM, but when I arrived, the truck wasn't ready and clearly wasn't running right. I had to come back the next day, and it has been a disaster ever since. The truck is now undriveable. I nearly got into a serious accident trying to merge into traffic because the vehicle just wouldn't accelerate. I am currently having it towed to another shop to figure out what they did. To make matters worse, they tried to claim it might be the oil pump--an issue that wouldn't even cause these symptoms and was already replaced recently. Avoid this shop. I paid $700 to have a functional vehicle turned into a safety hazard. Review will be deleted with a refund.

I cannot say enough good things about Velocity Auto Care in La Marque…read more They were honest, professional, patient, and incredibly kind from start to finish. They took the time to diagnose my vehicle, didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs, and charged me fairly. In a world where many people dread taking a car to a mechanic, this team was a breath of fresh air. Now for the embarrassing part... I was driving my mom's car when the check engine light came on and the car quit running. Convinced it was something major, I had it towed to Velocity Auto Care. Even the AAA driver didn't realize what was actually wrong. The diagnosis? The car was out of gas. Completely out of gas. That's it. Gas. They could have easily made me feel foolish, but instead they treated me with grace. Special shout out to Mr Jason, he was kind, professional, respectful, and had me back on the road quickly. If you're looking for an auto repair shop that values honesty, integrity, and customer service, I highly recommend Velocity Auto Care. They've earned a customer for life.

THEN two weeks later I went to change the air filter and saw they never put the engine cover back on the engine! So called and they said they never went under the hood. How do you put freon in then? So I said look. Guess what they found it. How can you miss putting a piece that big back on a car? In my opinion they suck and didnt even care they screwed up! Not even an apology!!!!!

Many places prior to my contact with eagle transmission quoted me for the same price the car was purchased for. Immediately after contacting eagle transmission, they towed my car in, got a quote, and worked the priced out with me and my mom. When an agreement was made, they quickly started the repairs, and kept us updated on the progress. One week later, I picked up the car and it was running smoothly. They showed my the parted that got replaced, how the damaged was caused, and advice on how to keep the car running as long as possible (which I needed, because I have graduated school in another state and won't have time or money for additional repairs.) I highly recommend them because they work with the customer to get the job done, and even have a free follow up to make sure every thing is running properly. While waiting in the lobby, had a great converstion with them about volunteering and scholarships for student. They included a 18 month warranty on the labor and transmission. Hands down, amazing business with great people behind the name. P.S. for those who would recommend us to junk the car and down a new one. This was my college graduation gift from my parents and surprised the morning of my graduation. The car I wanted since junior year of high school. The sentimental value was too high, hence why I couldn't junk G.

I took it back they said they heard no noise and charged me for freon. Days later my car stopped in the middle of the road. I ended up taking it to a different shop and they discovered an entire part missing from my car. I tried calling/texting Velas and received no answers. I drove to the shop and they knew exactly what I was talking about and gave me my part back. Their interaction was weird when I mentioned to them that the entire engine hose was missing. I am not the first review that mentions they are missing parts after getting repairs done at the this shop. There's also multiple people on social media accusing them of allegedly taking parts from their vehicles. Not sure if this is what they were trying to do with my vehicle but it resulted in me paying over $300 to fix the damage my car experienced after this part was missing and the car was being driven without it.
