These checkout lines are on par with the DMV in CRANSTON! They. Are. LONG!!! I do not understand it! They always have sales! But the discounts aren't even that good. So many things in this store are overpriced! Most clearance items never go under $10. Maybe $9.50 if they're feeling generous. I guess Kohls is doing what Marshall's and TJ MAXX are doing now. Having all the registers against the wall, with a maze checkout line as an automated voice calls out for the next available cashier. Crazy. I stood in line this evening for what seemed like an eternity. Kohls is struggling financially, yet I've never seen it so busy. So. Many. People. Thankfully nobody yelled at the understaffed workers to open more registers, as the four that were open seemed to handle the line at a decent pace. I had the unfortunate pleasure of standing next to a Karen at the next checkout lane who was arguing with the cashier and her supervisor over Kohl's Cash, and how the customer wants to combine the Kohl's Cash with a sale item, and then get cash back. Something they said the company doesn't allow. Idk she sounded nuts. I implore you. If you are in a hurry this holiday season. Please do not come to this store. Your patience will be tested by overpriced, name brand clothes that are somehow always on sale. Seriously, why is everything and nothing on sale at the same time?!? When you get to the register they add more discounts on top of your discount! Then you use Kohl's cash. For god sakes. Just give the clothes away! They have online pickup. Specifically the toilet stalls! The last two times I've used the men's bathroom here, the toilets were not clean and the bowl was covered and full of shit. Idk what type of demonic individual is coming to Target and destroying their toilet with Taco Bell, but can you STOP??!!! Tonight was even worse! The first stall had a nasty concoction of bowel discharge, used paper, and sewage water. Thank the heavens I couldn't smell it. It would NOT flush and I had to go BAD! The next stall wasn't much better, but I didn't have a choice. There was poo poo splatter on the toilet seat. (Don't worry I didn't put my whole ass on the seat. I don't want E. coli or hepatitis.) After I did my business... THAT TOILET DIDN'T FLUSH EITHER! What type of unholy toiletry nonsense is this???!! Is Target's bathroom the new place to unleash bumhole hell these days??? Both toilets are out of commission. I had to alert an employee of this tragedy and they fully understood as if this is the norm here. I'm surprised the whole store doesn't reek of a waste processing plant with how much suffrage these poor potties go through!

I asked another employee if they could call someone and they said I'm sorry I don't work in this department, but I'm sure someone will be here soon and walked away.. all I needed to do was check a merchandise credit I had since you can't check it on the app. I was very frustrated at this point, but the girl who did come over to help me was very kind and friendly. I get that sometimes it's really busy and overwhelming, but if that's the case, they need to hire more employees.. because no one else was waiting in that customer service area so I have employees bouncing from register to floor to customer service that's definitely a problem.

When I first walked in, I was a little discouraged, thinking maybe the clothes would be too "old" for her. However, the owner, Janet, was an absolute joy. Not only did she pick things out for my daughter that we NEVER would've gravitated towards, she helped her with the fitting and boosted her confidence so much. I can't say enough about how wonderful and personalized the service was here. And I was pleasantly surprised that the dresses we would've looked right over were actually perfect for her. Shop was clean. Not a huge store, but a decent selection casual, dress-casual, and formal wear. Prices are what you would expect for a specialty store; not exorbitantly high. But the customer service is definitely top-notch, and we both left with smiles on our faces and a weight off our chests. This is apart of the Lincoln Mall/Commons area, so parking is also a hit or miss depending how busy the area is.
