Excellent care and communication. I have been going there for over 10 years and the quality of care has not changed in that time.

Dr. Bannister does an awesome job! I've brought my pets to his practice for over 20 years.

We took a dog tues to PetVet for a heartworm test and did not need an appt which was wonderful. They are a hidden gem in the back of Tractor Supply. The staff were friendly, professional and informative. The vet was gentle with our nervous mill dog, and I was impressed how easily she was able to draw blood from a small dog. The clinic was clean and I could not have been more pleased to have this invaluable facility for our dogs. We took a Rottie Thurs and again had the same wonderful experience. We were able to purchase heartworm preventative at a discounted price and the bill was discounted as well with coupons available online and is very afforable. I recommend PetVet to everyone who has a pet. We are very grateful to have them so close to us and plan on continuing to take dogs there. Thank you PetVet!

I also called several other vets, one not taking new clients and another said they had no openings but recommended PetVet. I went shortly after they opened at noon, I walked to the back of Tractor Supply and was greeted right away with no wait! I got an ear exam, ear cytology, ear cleaning, and medicine Mometamax for all under $100! Very impressed that no appointment is needed and you can just walk in with a very reasonable cost. Probably ended up way cheaper than if I ended up at my "vet."

This is a strange review and I ask that you please bear with me…read more Open Arms Animal Rescue does inexpensive spay and neuters here. Cat procedures and all cats must be six months or older. Males are $65.00. Females $75.00. Pregnant females are $100.00. All spay/neuters come with shots. As some low cost spay/neuter programs require, you do not need to be on any form of public assistance to be eligible. My daughter moved backed home with two intact male cats. I checked with my regular pet doctor and the cost would be roughly $220.00 per cat. Open Arms offered up on FB the above program. Appointments made. Cash or check only. My daughter took the two cats yesterday evening. She had an appointment for 6.45pm. This is an assembly line operation. The procedure takes about 15 minutes. You wait with the cat, or cats in this instance. Procedures were running about an hour late. The vet is/was Jonathan Kemp. And you, the cat owner, might be asked to assist. All of this sounds a tad strange. The bottom line is that the neutering process has been done. Effectively. One of our cats was resistant to being tranqued/anesthesized. Dr.Kemp administered additional anesthesia to make sure that Mittens was completely sedated. The odd part is that the procedures are done in the open. Sterile, but open. Cats came home somewhat confused as to the whereabouts of their family jewels. Other than that, they are fine. If anyone wants the contact info for the person from Open Arms who sets this up, PM me. Strange operation in that I have never been able to take a cat home immediately post surgery. However this worked! I'm happy, the cats are no longer attempting to establish their territory and I saved a ton of money! No GEICO commercial here. I need to reiterate that this is an after hours operation. I believe that this Veterinary office is primarily bovine. I did receive certification with respect to the neutering/vaccines. I'm happy, cats maybe not so much.

My experience was horrible. Dr. Rice misdiagnosed my dog not once, but twice. I brought my dog in…read morebecause he suddenly couldn't see well, was having accidents in the house, seemed to have back pain, and was circling the house looking confused. Instead of investigating further, it was written off as him simply getting older. He was given medication that actually made his symptoms worse. Concerned, I contacted another vet for a second opinion. It took them only moments to realize something was seriously wrong. From there we were referred to a neurologist, who confirmed that my dog has a brain tumor or another serious neurological condition. I truly believe that if the right steps had been taken earlier, my dog might have had a better chance at getting the help he needed. Instead, my 8-year-old dog has now been given only 3 to 6 months to live. Dr. Rice also seemed uncomfortable around my dog. He immediately had him wear a muzzle and came across as very standoffish. My dog has never shown any aggression toward him or anyone else at the clinic before. When Dr. Rice took my dog to the back to check his ears, I could hear my dog screaming. I have never heard him make a noise like that before, which was very concerning to me as his owner. It made me feel like they may not be comfortable handling medium or larger dogs, so I would advise others with similar-sized pets to be cautious. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you need a veterinarian who will thoroughly investigate serious symptoms. I recommend Creekview Veterinary Center or Green Acres Veterinary Center.

I have two indoor cats so we do not go to the vet often. Typically, our experience isn't great…read morebecause we go in for one issue and the veterinarian comes at us with a laundry list of things we need to do for our cat, in a very cold tone, which is overwhelming. That was NOT our experience here. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. The veterinarian was very pleasant to deal with providing options for our cat focusing on the reasons we came in. I am so glad we found this place and hope to call it our forever vet when our fur babies are in need of a visit.

Like many pet owners, I've experienced other veterinary offices where it felt more about the money than the well-being of the animal. That is absolutely not the case here. This is the first veterinary clinic I chose to stay with because they genuinely care, not only about your pet, but also about you and your family. From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with a smile, kindness, and respect. The staff treats every client with dignity, and more importantly, they treat every animal as if it were their own. You can feel their compassion, their professionalism, and their heart in everything they do. It is rare to find a team that balances exceptional medical care with such sincere compassion and understanding. Their priority is clearly the health, comfort, and happiness of your pet, not your wallet. I wholeheartedly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone and everyone. In fact, I would recommend them even to my worst enemy, that's how strongly I believe in the care they provide. Kudos to every single member of this incredible team. Thank you for caring, for having heart, and for making such a meaningful difference in the lives of the animals and families you serve.
