Instead, it is for all pets. I really shouldn't be reviewing this place, because they are busy enough as it is, and the last thing they need is to be more busy. But there is a very good reason why they are so busy, and that reason is because they are the most affordable, most friendly, most honest, and most genuinely caring veterinarians and employees that I have ever encountered. I cannot imagine there is a vet out there like this. When people reminisce about going back to the 1950s when people cared about each other and there was a community spirit and businesses were trustworthy... this is the kind of place they are thinking about. Between this vet, and Tucciarone auto repair in Clarence, you basically have the best and most honest possible care for your pets and your cars. Don't say I never did anything for you. As for this place. They did so many things for me, I have to say I honestly love them. So does Starlight. So does Harley. So does my son. So does Thaddeus. So does Quilty. So does Tenille. So does Harley. So does Garcia from the basement. So did Bumbalina before she ran away. There is a reason why, every time one of my cats needs medical help, I drive all the way out to Batavia, passing several animal hospitals on the way. If you bring your pets here, you will discover this reason too. If you have some spare cash for donations to vet offices, take a look at what this place is doing to help animals and pet owners out. You'll be amazed. Have a trip down there and talk to them. They are the type of genuinely good people that restore faith in humanity. Need I say more?

This is a strange review and I ask that you please bear with me…read more Open Arms Animal Rescue does inexpensive spay and neuters here. Cat procedures and all cats must be six months or older. Males are $65.00. Females $75.00. Pregnant females are $100.00. All spay/neuters come with shots. As some low cost spay/neuter programs require, you do not need to be on any form of public assistance to be eligible. My daughter moved backed home with two intact male cats. I checked with my regular pet doctor and the cost would be roughly $220.00 per cat. Open Arms offered up on FB the above program. Appointments made. Cash or check only. My daughter took the two cats yesterday evening. She had an appointment for 6.45pm. This is an assembly line operation. The procedure takes about 15 minutes. You wait with the cat, or cats in this instance. Procedures were running about an hour late. The vet is/was Jonathan Kemp. And you, the cat owner, might be asked to assist. All of this sounds a tad strange. The bottom line is that the neutering process has been done. Effectively. One of our cats was resistant to being tranqued/anesthesized. Dr.Kemp administered additional anesthesia to make sure that Mittens was completely sedated. The odd part is that the procedures are done in the open. Sterile, but open. Cats came home somewhat confused as to the whereabouts of their family jewels. Other than that, they are fine. If anyone wants the contact info for the person from Open Arms who sets this up, PM me. Strange operation in that I have never been able to take a cat home immediately post surgery. However this worked! I'm happy, the cats are no longer attempting to establish their territory and I saved a ton of money! No GEICO commercial here. I need to reiterate that this is an after hours operation. I believe that this Veterinary office is primarily bovine. I did receive certification with respect to the neutering/vaccines. I'm happy, cats maybe not so much.

For my cats. Sort of. I love this place because some of the people here are really friendly, and they saved the lives of a couple of my cats which was absolutely wonderful. They de-wormed them too, and who doesn't want to be de-wormed? (Raises hand). I know I do. If it was the Akron Analog Hospital then none of their records would be kept digitally which would be a real pain for whoever had to hand-write them. A couple of negatives about this place, I had to sneak one of my kitties in here because they charge just to see your pet, even if it's just for advice. I just wanted to ask the vet something... but no, you have to make an appointment just for that, and it costs money. Also I had a free visit booked, which was included with the very expensive adoption of my baby cat Mutu, and they did some stuff to the cats without telling me it would cost money, and then asked me to pay for it at the end of that "free visit". And they are a bit pricier than some of the other hospitals in the area, but most of them are overpriced so I can't really hold that against them. So they get a solid 4 stars and thank you so much for saving my kitties :) And if it was the Akron Groundhog Hospital, then Bill Murray would come here every single day and he would be sick of it.
