I've been a customer of Perry Pet and Livonia Animal Care Facility for over 25 years. I called today for my sick dog and they can't get me in for over 2 weeks. Their prices have skyrocketed while their professional care has plumeted. Go somewhere else. read more

They order food a lot. .they dont tip the delivery drivers....Cheap Fuckers.and nasty and smelly

This is our Mini Pig vet and they are great. Unfortunately, we have to drive quite a distance to get there, but it's one of the only exotic/farm vets in the area that will see Mini/potbelly pigs while still being affordable compared to vets that see mini pigs in Clarence and other more local areas. We had our piggy Perscilla spayed here and we couldn't have found a better vet! He was very confident and made us feel comfortable with the procedure and with him performing it. The staff was very friendly and sweet towards our piggy. The vet was also very kind and gentle with her and told us she's the sweetest and most docile pig he's ever encountered. The procedure wasn't too long and the staff kept us informed. After the procedure, I called a couple of times with minor concerns and questions and the staff and vet answered all of our questions and assured us she was healing just fine and not to let her play yet as much as she may want to. We had vaccinations done on her for the first time at Perry Pet and she did great with those also. We had to go back a month later for a booster for one of the vaccinations and she did great with that one. The vet actually let us keep her in our car in her crate for the vaccine so we didn't have to haul her big butt back and forth. Perscilla healed very well and you can hardly see her scar! We def recommend Perry Pet and they are now our mini pig vet! read more

While the ultimate outcome for my kitkat was not I would have desired, everyone at Perry Vet was there for us when we needed them. In particular, Dr. Sleeper was truly the most kind, caring, compassionate person, and made the sadness as peaceful and loving as possible. I had no problem getting in for appointments, and spoke with someone there daily as this transpired. They were there for me, and I wasn't sure what to expect since my cat had not been to a vet in many years. read more

The've always given great care to our last four pets. The staff is always very friendly also.

I made an appointment 3 weeks ago, and when I arrived they told me I didn't have an appointment. I have the confirmation email for the appointmen, but they just don't care. They were rude and told me I was wrong, even after I brought up the confirmation. Absolute jerks. read more

I know this vet is not cheap, but it is clean, loving, and was my vet for the majority of the life of my first great dane, and next week my puppy will be starting at this vet. Why do a recommend this vet? I will give you 3 reasons. 1. It's clean, your dog will not come in with one problem and leave with 3 more. 2. Professional, and good. They help when they can, when they cant they will tell you how to find help. 3. Compassion. My great dane Kinder was born into my arms, she had to be revived. She passed away at this vet office. They had been good to my old girl all her life. Wednesday I take my new puppy to meet her new medical team at Perry Pet. I know they will take good care of her, and yes I expect to pay good money, but they do good work, and my baby is worth it. read more

We had taken our pets to another vet and the cause of our Golden Retriever's illness continued to be mis-diagnosed as her health continued to fail. We were feeding her up to four cups of a high quality food every day and she was continuing to lose weight. Her health was fine in every way except for a digestive problem. The other vet told us that they ruled out everything and we could give her a supplement to firm up her stool. I took her to Batavia Animal Hospital and a preliminary diagnosis was made immediately and a course of action given. Blood tests soon confirmed the diagnosis and our dog began to quickly improve to her old self. Over the years, they have been nothing but professional, kind, supportive and very knowledgeable. They are not concerned with an 'up-sell' and making money from their clients; they work with animals first and foremost because they love it. Pricing is extremely reasonable and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. read more

Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, gentle, accommodating and very reasonable prices--everything you'd look for in a vet. Even though I live on Grand Island, taking the 30-40 minute drive to Batavia a few times a year is more than worth my time. They were recommended to my fiance and I by a friend a few years ago when we got our first cat, and this has been the only vet we've ever used. We now have three, and the BAH has taken care of everything they've needed. No complications with any of the three neuterings, and no problems with vaccines or physicals. Knowing that we have three cats, and how far away we live, they let us schedule all three at once for shots and physicals so we don't have to make extraneous trips to see them, which is much appreciated. When one of our cats was having an issue with urinating, they fully helped us determine if it was a health or behavioral issue, and gave great advice on how to prevent it from happening. They handle your animals as if they were their own, and always make you feel welcome while visiting. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and being open on Saturdays is a big plus since we both work full time Monday-Friday. As far as veterinarians go, I couldn't ask for anything more, besides living closer! If we ever move out of the area I could only hope to find a new vet that's at least somewhat comparable. read more

The place has expanded since in the last few years but they still have great prices and staff. Everyone was easy to talk to and the visit went fine. However they refuse to help with any 3rd party orders. In other words, if you want to order any prescriptions for your pet from someone other than them they won't send them a prescription. You need to physically get it from them and send it yourself. I understand that they'd like you to order from them but this seems petty. All the other vets I've worked with had no problems at all working with 3rd part orders. It's a great place with poorly thought out policies. read more

I have been a client with the Batavia Animal Hospital for several years and have been pleased with the office personnel and some of the vets. Since its recent acquisition by the mega-clinic Perry Veterinary Clinic the service and care provided has seriously deteriorated with unnecessary costly tests being performed and several misdiagnosies being given. It appears that any observations by the owner are ignored, as well as past histories on the animal in question. This is no longer an animal hospital that has been known for its care, compassion, and friendliness. I, for one, will certainly miss the original purpose and atmosphere provided by the original Batavia Animal Hospital. read more

Every time I called or spoke to someone I received different information. I was quoted multiple different prices for surgery. I was originally told my cat could come home then same day, then she had to spend the night, then she could come home same day and finally that she had to spend the night again. I was given 3 different times that I was suppose to pick her up. I would not recommend this vet to anyone. read more

I have been very satisfied with the care Paige, my 4 yr. old CKC spaniel has received over the last two years at Perry Pet. She needed surgery to remove numerous bladder stones. The vet and the staff did everything possible to answer my questions. Paige has had a few other minor health issues that required visits. The staff is very accommodating.....very sensitive to the needs of the pet as well as the owner. read more

After Dr Phillips passed away I found myself looking for a vet and since the woman (I can't recall her name) that took over for him went to Perry Pet I decided to give them a go. My first visit I find out she's no longer there but nobody knew why, that should have been my first sign to go elsewhere. I brought my dog in for an ear infection, $400 later he was good to go, I thought the price was way high but the place was clean and the staff was very friendly. My next visit and follow up from Karen their group leader did nothing but leave a bad taste in my mouth. I brought my dog in because he had been scratching his side, I knew they would probably prescribe him apoquel so I checked pricing online. The day before our visit I received an email from Perry Pet offering me 20% off on meds, I thought that was awesome. So we get to the vet, she does her exam and says we need apoquel. I tell her about the discount and ask if they would honor the price since it's their website and she says I don't know you'll have to ask the desk. We go to check out and I ask the girl at the desk, she didn't even answer me, she said if you want to order it online you can. I thought that seemed a bit rude, I mean if you won't price match your own website just say so. The cost for 30 pills online was $64 and with the discount was around $52. I asked what the cost was for the 28 pills they were trying to sell me and she tells me $89!!! I couldn't believe it. Now my dog has to wait who knows how long for pills because 4 days later they haven't even been shipped. This vet doesn't care about pets they care about the bottom line. The next day I get an email asking me about my experience. I voice my displeasure and kept it moving. A few days later I get an email from Karen their group leader who tells me I'm confused and that they pay more for the meds than I do. I could not believe how she spoke to me. Again I know they're in business to make money but to price gouge me and the rest of their patients isn't right. There is zero chance that they pay more for meds that they buy in bulk from a place they're in business with for their own website than I do as a consumer for a single purchase. I'll be looking for a new vet. read more

I had gone to Batavia Animal for year prior to Perry taking it over, first problem I took my female dog Moxie in for an xray to find out how many puppies she had in there a Perry vet name Peter saw her looked at the xray and said 4 maybe 5 I told him Moxie had had a previous c-section and if she only had 3 in there I was going to schedule a c-section Peter said no she has more than 3 she should be fine well 4 dayslater she went into labor ok course the puppy was to bid so at midnight I droe over an hour to c-section out 4-5 puppies there were only 3 thatis why they were to large, because of her previous c-section and being in labor for 4 -5 hours I had to spay her of course they charged through the nose. Second problem when Moxies puppies went in for their check up at 6 weeks old the bill was outrageous almost 3 times the normal bill the women behind the counter said there has got to be an error this price is too high I will redo the bill and send it to youwell the bill came in at almost 3 times the normal price I called and was told no that was the new pricing mind you they never informed me that there was a price increase prior to seeing my puppies. I found a new much reasonable vet. read more
