Dr Patricia Tamke and Lynn, her Assistant, are an amazing team. They are compassionate, competent, and dedicated to helping both your fur baby and you. They were extremely gentle with our baby girl and great at explaining her diagnosis. They were tremendously caring with our family. We can not say enough about these wonderful ladies.

City Creatures is the sister facility to All Creatures on Transit Road. A friend of mine had…read morerecommended we go to All Creatures, and when we were there my Mother had commented that she wished AC was closer. The staff told her that they had a city branch (City Creatures) on Delaware Avenue, and that the vets treated at both locations. CC is incredibly close to her house, and she loves the fact that she doesn't have to drive on Transit. I made our appointment online, and selected the sick option when it asked why I was making the appointment. I received a phone call about 5 minutes after making the appointment, from one of the techs. She said they were just about to close, and when my appointment popped up in the system, she noticed I'd written that my dog was a little lethargic. She said she wanted to make sure that she was okay, or if we needed to come in earlier? This in itself was amazing to me, because our old vet never did anything like this. I was recently there with our Saint Bernard, Sweet Pea, and while it's smaller than AC, it's very clean, isn't smelly, the staff are very polite and the vet we met with is incredibly nice. The scale is right in the waiting room, which is a plus and a negative. My dog happens to be slightly dog aggressive, so when a puppy was brought into the waiting room to be weighed, she became a little upset. But it wasn't anything bad, because there are two waiting areas, so once the dog went over to the other side, my dog was fine. The room we went into was a little small, but then again, everything feels small when you have a 120 lb dog. We had questions about a procedure she needs done, and the vet answered all of our questions. They gave us a price estimate and reviewed it with us. We are very happy with them.

Outrageously expensive. My bills tended to be $400 and up. I was told by a nurse(?) that the whole thing was going to come to almost $400. I decided not to do it. The visit cost me $150.00. I know everything is expensive, but this seems excessive and exploitive. I love my dog so I'll bankrupt myself. This place was started by humanitarians, according to what I read, but they've lost their sense of mission and squeeze us dry. There are lots of perky young people working there but their cheer doesn't make up for the half-assed service. And maybe they don't need so many of them. To top it off, when they have treated my dog's ears, it is sometimes ineffective. And when they express his butt stuff, he goes home and drags it across the floor immediately. I do love this dog, but I'm done with this place. I've ordered some ear medicine from Amazon for thirty bucks. My guess is it'll be at least as effective and the ministrations of this gyp joint.

No matter who was tending to them, always have gotten wonderful care & love for my animals, and some of those "kids" been difficult at times. Highly recommend. My last dog, though otherwise a pleasant guy, had to be sedated and muzzled for a vet visit, even a nail trim. Thankfully, he became mellowed in his advanced years. He became a legend. Everyone who worked on him gave him special treatment, in spite of him not returning their affection. Seems like they loved him more because he was a difficult boy. All cried with me when he unexpectedly needed to be put to sleep. Happily (and finally), my current dog is happy no matter where she goes. They now the opposite problem, and need to deal with an exhuberant girl whose tail is wagging and butt is wiggling, even with a thermometer stuck in. One of my current cats (and a few in the past) have also been difficult patients, and their moodiness is always handled with a gentle hand and a laugh. Have never been disappointed with the care and diagnosis over many years. I can't see myself taking my furkids elsewhere. We are truly what they call "part of the T&C family".

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Summer Street Cat Clinic!…read more Our little girl was really ill last week -- to the point where we needed to bring her into a vet ASAP. Our normal vet never has immediate availability, and it was really crucial that we got her in as soon as we could. After some quick research, I learned that Summer Street is typically great about getting cats in for emergency visits. I called Friday morning around 9 and they let me know they could see her at 11. When I got her there, they were genuinely concerned about her illness and they were so gentle and caring towards her. Dr. Ryndak was excellent in going over all of her findings with me -- including explaining the treatments they gave my cat and how to care for her going forward. Thankfully, my cat has bounced back and she's feeling much better because of the staff at Summer Street. She is officially an established patient here and I wouldn't want to take her anywhere else!

This vets office was telling me nothing was wrong with my cat, there is still blood in her urine because I can see it on the puppy pads that I've put out for her.
