If you want something fancy and elegant, come to Estelle. I came on a Tuesday afternoon and the…read moresmall parking lot was full. Thankfully there's some side resident parking. Walking in, the line was short but the staff took a really long time servicing people. Since it's a 2hr drive from SF to Sac, you know I'm about to bulk buy. The case had a good selection but quite a few were sold out already. Everything looks really delicious but I had to control myself. Almond Croissant $7.50 - I don't remember what this tasted like so it must've been standard. Matcha Croissant $9 - Don't let the price deter you because for $9, you get a big filling croissant and it was honestly so delicious. The dipped part was like a white chocolate matcha and the inside matcha filling was so good. I don't know how but I fridged it and ate it the next day, IT WAS STILL CRISPY! This was the highlight and highly recommend getting it. Blueberry Choux $11 - This was also really good too. The blueberry filling was creamy and delicious. It tasted really fresh. Macarons $2.95 each - Standard stuff. I got a Thai coconut cream and this is a flavor I haven't seen before and recommend trying it! In summary, highly recommend trying this place. It is on the pricier side but if you're like me and don't go to Sac often, I would give this place a try and buy extra!!

Our server was attentive and so kind. Absolutely loved it and enjoyed the experience. I've been to other high tea places but this is probably my new favorite high tea experience. I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to experience high tea! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Pegasus is a bakery that sells baos, pastries, and cakes. They also have a restaurant side that…read moreserves Hong Kong-style food. I haven't tried their baos or pastries yet, but they do have a limited selection of options that look pretty good. I usually come here for their fruit basket cakes. The fruit is fresh, the icing isn't overly sweet, and the sponge cake isn't dry. Their fruit basket cakes are perfect for birthdays or even celebrating just getting married, lol! I've never had any issues ordering cakes from here. My orders are always ready on time, and the staff is friendly!

I found this place online, liked what I saw, and so I came down for lunch. It's in a very large…read moreAsian, mini mall, which has things such as a shipping store, plenty of places to eat, a water store, a barbershop, things to buy, etc. It was a nice place. Large, very clean. All of the employees were friendly. It has a little bit of everything. It has a bakery, sandwiches, soups, stews, other items as well. They even serve an afternoon tea. I decided to go for the chicken and mushroom congee. (rice porridge.). I also got a green onion hotdog roll to take home with me. To drink, I had a green tea with lemon. The congee was amazing. A rich complex flavor. It had a little bit of ginger in it, you could definitely taste the ginger, but it did not overwhelm the rest of the porridge. The chicken was good, and for the mushroom, they used black mushrooms, which have a deeper flavor than regular mushrooms. So very good. It looked like a small bowl, but I couldn't finish it. Some came home with me, and it reheated very well. It also came with Chinese donuts to put in the porridge. Chinese donuts are a little bit different. They definitely taste like a doughnut, except they are not sweet at all. They are savory donuts, and are perfect to use as a crouton, so to speak. The green tea was very good, and they didn't overdo it with the lemon, and that hotdog roll that I had later, the pastry was delicious with just a little bit of a "chew" to it, they were definitely high-quality hot dogs, and it wasn't just green onion. They had something mixed in, I'm not sure what it was, but it didn't taste raw like green onion can. Just a great lunch. I'll be back. Thanks.

The banana bread had this wonderful caramelized exterior that complemented the tender banana bread, and the strawberry cupcake was baked perfectly and topped with a frosting that wasn't cloying in any way. The brown butter chocolate chip cookie was deeply flavored, and the coffee cake hit that mid-morning craving just right. I also appreciated the lovely touch of being able to get just as much coffee-flavored glaze as I wanted on the top.

My boyfriend and I finally had the time to come on a Monday (after the gym lol). We ordered a couple of items to try and I'll tell you I was full after a couple of bites and it carried me for the rest of day. We ordered jalapeño cheddar and classic sausage patty, egg, & cheese biscuit sandwich and biscuit 2 pack: blueberry and brown sugar biscuit. While picking up my boyfriend was recommended the cinnamon roll and he caved and got it! We had our pickup time at 7:30, but we showed up a little early and got our food around 7:20. There was a bit of a wait since there were some people ahead of us, so I'd recommend you going a bit earlier than your time just in case you're in a rush. We headed home to try everything. We really enjoyed the biscuits themselves as they didn't leave a dry or grainy feeling in your mouth. They had a good crust while being airy and light inside. The sandwiches were good, but they were anything crazy. Size wise it is small for the price you get, but I get it. It's all house made and fresh. We definitely think the biscuits themselves are the standout. The blueberry and brown sugar biscuits were a sweet tooth's heaven. The cinnamon roll wasn't too sweet either and had great texture and basically melted in your mouth. I never knew about midtown bakery before midtown biscuits so I would definitely come back to check out their other items, while getting those biscuits!
