    We rented in the Brooklyn Heights Instrata building…read more 1) this building is the most poorly managed building I have ever rented from. The door men and women are LOVELY and phenomenal, but the office staff of Bozzuto are truly horrific 2) after a regular radiator cleaning by the building (we were away at work when they did it), we returned home to find muddy footprints trampled all throughout our apartment and on our rugs. We emailed the building management numerous times, and they did not reply to me until I left them a review in google stating the issue 3) we never received a building walk through or overview of "building rules" until we had a furniture delivery that "broke the rules" 4) any time you have an issue, and you contact building management, they will NOT get back to you. You have to follow up incessantly and visit the office every day hoping they are there to talk in person

He said to move in I needed to pay first month rent and security deposit $1350+$1350= $2700 (The problem is this is not prorated ) He wrote the prorated amount on the lease but he is not using it!!!! So I was supposed to move in on 1/16/26 and it should have been $1350+$720=$2,070.00 But because Jeremy math was wrong I couldn't which resulted in me getting fired. So I moved in on1/23/26 $1350+405=$1,755.00 I over paid was not prorated. Jeremy promised he would refund me and he did not. He did not fix the date on my lease Help please. Please make sure y'all are paying the prorated amount because he is aware of what he is doing. And adding an extra $1 to rent I want my move out bill fixed

My dignity and humanity was brutally violated. And the reason he became so irate was because he overheard me telling the Maryland tax office that he was being uncooperative and not helpful, which was absolutely true. Instead of trying to assist me, he became abusive. Not once did I yell back. He was rude, unprofessional, screamed at me while I was on the phone with my real estate agent. On top of that, his accounting was incorrect and I had to go over the documents with a fine tooth comb or I would have lost money due to his inaccuracy. It was all I could do to not walk out and yell back at him but as a mature adult I needed to complete the process. I had to deal with him like a child having a tantrum to get through it despite the inexcusable assault on my dignity. The abuse was unacceptable and the clear evidence of racial discrimination and prejudice is unconscionable. I would never use them again and highly urge potential customers to avoid them at all costs and find a different settlement company. I have purchased and sold over 6 homes in the past 20 years, not once have I encountered behavior so outrageous.

    Have been working with Sheridan Title, Inc. for approximately 10 years. They are simply an AMAZING…read morefirm. Jim's mild tempered manner helps to calm down any stressful, last minute, unexpected event that can occur right at the closing table. They go out of their way to do the little things from start to finish. Robin, offers amazing customer service and assistance on the front end, and Cindy REALLY works hard to handle issues from Robin's hands to the point of closing. If you need a preliminary HUD-1, or simply have a friend who wants to add a family member to the title, or perhaps you have questions about the process, or perhaps there is a questions about the contract, Jim, Robin and Cindy and simply a team to make it happen. Also, you NEVER feel like you are aggravating them. I must say that some title company staff sound stressed on the phone, are not accommodating, or you simply feel like they really do not want to assist. I MUST say that I have NEVER felt that way with Sheridan Title. Additionally, they promptly return calls or emails. They are efficient and they are simply results-oriented. If any surprises come up on title, they will alert you right away and try to work out alternatives to make it happen or provide you with the results of what could happen if you proceed or what could happen if you do not proceed. Sheridan Title is just simply AMAZING in this respect. Also, for you investors, buyers or sellers, I have NEVER had to be concerned about the deed, deed of trust, or certificate of satisfaction not being recorded. They also retain their files in archives for a decent amount of time so that if you ever have a litigation regarding title on a home that you have purchased, you can always call them back, and trust that they have documents that you made need to assist you with your law suit. Moreover, you never have to worry about the title insurance. They use a reputable title insurance company. It is wonderful!!! When I had a lawsuit, once, Jim wrote a letter for me, the title insurance company provided them with what we needed, my title insurance paid the attorney's cost for litigation, and we WON with NO MONEY out of my pocket. VERY CRUCIAL: The thing that endeared me to Jim (James S. Higdon, Esquire) from the very beginning was how VERY PATIENT he was with the buyer. He took his time to explain each and every document to her. In comparison to many of the other attorneys whom I had closed with, I have to say that I was simply impressed with this sort of care that he took, and trust this much, it has been almost a decade, and he still takes the time with each and other client that I bring to him ... whether it is a seller or a buyer. NOTEWORTHY: If a seller is not able to make it to the closing table. Cindy and Robin will arrange for the seller to come to the office at a time prior to closing that works for them, collect all requisite information, and coordinate everything in time for closing once the buyer appears. Of course, it is always nice for both parties to be together at the closing table, but sometimes that is not possible, and when it is not possible, Sheridan Title (Cindy and Robin) make it happen!!! Consequently, all of you buyers, sellers, investors, and personal representatives of estate (executors), if you are looking to settle at a wonderful place where there is ALWAYS plenty of parking, whereby the atmosphere is very calming, professional, results-oriented, trustworthy, and full of integrity, this is the place for you, Thanks Jim, Cindy and Robin ...
