First off, this is the freshest fish we've had in Rio in the last 20 years. For me, this is the single biggest factor in a sushi spot. Also, the menu is ample - loads of hit and cool Japanese foods. We started with Hana Nira - garlic sprouts. Warm with lovely teriyaki-type sauce. Then, we had grilled octopus. It was really good...perhaps a bit chewy. Our main course was a Combinagi platter of sushi, sashimi, and rolls. Five types of fish were on this combo platter. Everything was tasty and terrific. Little to no wasabi on the sushi so you might request more wasabi if you really want that heat. For dessert, we had the creme brulee crepe with apples and ice cream. Amazing. The buffet menu is all you can eat. The decor is not what I would say typical Japan resturant but it was comfortable even if not all the chairs matched. The staff were helpful with everything. I liked that you could see where your food was being prepared when you went up for salad. They have a good selection of wines,spirits and the Local beer selection was outstanding. I'm not a sushi fan but I have to say that the quality, price and service made me a fan of this Resturant. If I had time to eat here again I would.
