I have gone to a few places looking for paint, but have not been able to find colors that I like. Annie Sloan paint is supposed to be the best, so I decided to find a retailer. I was in the area and called to ensure they were still open late Saturday afternoon, but they were closing. Instead, they said that they would remain open for me. The place is clean and inviting. It is not overly cluttered as one might expect. They have every color offered by Annie Sloan in stock and painted on something in the store. In fact, they have each color painted on wood with different wax finishes. Right before I was leaving (already kept them 20 minutes past closing), Renee an off the clock employee began to give me some great pointers. She showed (and sold) me a cool product that would help bring the project to life. I almost cannot believe the level of customer service offered by Wonderfaux.

I happened to see someone posting about Patrick and Fresh Coat Painters, so I decided to at least get a quote and see if they were the real deal. I was skeptical based on past experiences. I could not have been more happy. Patrick made an appt for a quote and not only showed up, but confirmed the day before. He measured and presented one of the most professional quotes I have ever received from anyone in the construction and refinishing trades. It provided full detail; specifics about the paint products used, the company insurance, and warranty detail as well as much more. They also have easy no interest financing. After Patrick left we went through the quote in detail and contacted him to get our kitchen cabinets refinished. That was less than 2 weeks ago and the job is done! His painters are professional and know what they are doing. Patrick came by several times and we went over specifics. He was always open and took care of any concerns we had. I finally asked an employee, she pointed me to the folding shoe racks in storage section. The quality was not the same. I bought it and found the size mismatched. I have to return it. Such a bummer.
