I arrived there and was met with scepticism, the manager just kind of shrugged her shoulders and said, "Look, you're asking for an awful lot" we have a truck to unload." I told her I had just talked with a gentleman there less than 40 minutes ago, and he said it was no problem. I replied, "Good, thanks, I'm on my way " I finally asked the manager, are you going to help me or not, I don't have a problem taking my $500+ somewhere else. She said no. I called the store at Southern Plaza, I was told,, "Well, you should call back tomorrow and ask a manager". I looked and I was just a few miles from the Speedway Store. I called them, and again, got the "no problem" reply. I was skeptical, but upon arriving, I was assured by a lady there that, yes indeed, we can help get you loaded and on your way. Because of limited space in my vehicle, they allowed me to uncrate the tool box, (they actually helped me) and let me wrap it with furniture blankets with straps to hold them in place before setting it up so we could slide it into the back of my vehicle. Paid for and on my way. I regret not getting their names, but I made sure they knew I appreciated their help. There are a couple of other stores that might be a little more convenient to get to, but I will drive by them in the future if I have to. I will not hesitate to take my money to Speedway Harbor Freight.

I purchased an air compressor to use with a TORNADOR® Air Blow Out tool. The TORNADOR® came after…read moreI had purchased the air compressor so I had no reason to open the compressor. When the TORNADOR® arrived, I found out that the air compressor would not push out enough cubic feet per minute (CFM) that the TORNADOR® requires. Unfortunately, Harbor Freight Tools does not have an air compressor in the store that the TORNADOR® needs. I went to return the air compressor only to find out that they charge a $34.00 restocking fee! Roughly 20% of the purchase price. The employee never told me this; only that I could return it if needed. When I explained to the store manager why I was returning the compressor and that it was never opened, she showed no empathy. The store employee who started the return said he had never heard of such a policy until he started working at Harbor Freight Tools. I could understand a restocking fee if I had opened the box but it was clear that I had not opened it. When she referenced the restocking fee the reference information said *subject to a restocking fee*. Had I been warned, made aware of, or if this information was posted where the air compressors were, I would have more pointed questions about the policy or not even purchased an air compressor from them. I ended up buying an air compressor recommended by users on Tik Tok and I had to spend $180.00 more for one that meets the TORNADOR® requirements. Take heed of my expensive experience and be cautious of what you purchase from Harbor Freight Tools. Also, note that most of their tools only have a 90-day warranty.

If I could just rate this store, I would give them a 5 since Dave worked so hard to try to get us our money back. He is super nice and a pure genuine person who cares about his customers. This is a mixed review. We got a refrigerator through this Sears store when our old one went out in April. When we got it home, we realized it was dented so bad that we could not change the handle from one side to the other. We ordered another one and then had to wait close to 4 weeks before it was brought to us, but they let us keep the dented one until then. They delivered the newer one and took the dented one a month later. We have been trying to get our refund from the dented one for a while. The manager at this store is great, he kept trying and doing paperwork and making phone calls for us. I called the main 1-800 number and literally waited on the phone on hold for over an hour. I called with my cell on one ear while still waiting on our land line on the other ear to speak to the supervisor. I had 2 supervisors answer at the same time. They told me that I should not contact the store anymore but that it was on the highest level it could go online and we should expect our money by today. I made this call a week ago. I told them to call me to let me know, not to email me. I received an email yesterday to contact the store. (So many mixed messages). I contacted the manager of the store yesterday and he said he got an email from them that they would be calling me in the next 24 hours. Just now the manager called me and asked if they had contacted me yet, which they have not. He told me he just got a note and we have been credited our money for the refund of the first one. Thank you Dave. You make it easier. I am sure that if you were not there, that Sears would not have as much business as they do. God Bless you! I stopped in to pick up a chicken doormat that I saw advertised. This was my first visit to this…read moreremote location north of Whitestown. The store is new and well organized. I was greeted by a friendly and helpful clerk when I entered. They carry everything from wood burning stoves to chicken treats. I was distracted by some really great clearance deals that I found throughout the store. I picked up solar lights, a half priced Halloween costume for my dog, Halloween planters, a mum for a $1 and boots for my granddaughter. There were lots of great deals. I found the chicken doormat that I originally came in for. The store carries everything that you could imagine for your farm, pet or home and prices are really good. They even carry name brand clothing such as Columbia. Check out was quick and easy. I left with my cart full of great bargains. The parking lot is easy to navigate. There are accessible spaces. I'll be back!
