We had State Farm in San Francisco, so naturally, we looked at switching to a local State Farm agent. Unfortunately, the State Farm agent we met was somewhat unprofessional and didn't seem to be interested in our business whatsoever, so we decided to shop around. I went to Allstate's website to get a quote, and because they had great rates available, I took their suggestion and signed up with Ms. Crockett's office. The signup process was quite easy, but from that point forward, my interaction with her office has been anything but. Over the last two years, I've had questions at various times about our policy, and I would estimate that I've sent Ms. Crockett's office at least half a dozen emails and left at least as many voicemail messages (several to her office staff, and two to her directly). In that time, only one of these voicemails has been returned. All other times, I have had to call the general Allstate customer service number to get questions answered about my policy. Granted, I've been able to get the answers eventually, but what's the point of having a physical insurance agent if you can't ever speak to them? The only reason that I've stuck with Ms. Crockett's office is because Allstate rates were very competitive. However, when I was informed of my policy renewal two months ago, the rates increased by almost $70 per month. When I called her office to ask about the rate increase, the gentleman said it was because they are automatically using a higher estimate for yearly miles driven. (This, by the way, is the only time I've ever actually gotten to speak with someone at the office.) When I told him that we haven't increased yearly miles driven, he said he needed to send me forms to fill out to prove it. That was two months ago. I still haven't received any forms, my policy just renewed at the much higher rate, and I'm tired of dealing with her office. While I realize that the rate increase is no fault of Ms. Crockett, she and her staff have been terrible at customer communication throughout the life of my policy, and I would definitely not recommend her to anyone.

Nima Rad - State Farm Insurance Agent - Waiting for his Pet Insurance Review

Nima Rad - State Farm Insurance Agent

He gets an F for failure…read more A total lack of response has caused me to seek another insurance company after over 20 years. Way to ruin a long-term customer relationship I had with State Farm. It's not like I don't have choices. This guy just works from home by himself since when you call no one ever picks up and then he might call you back later from his cellphone, but usually just ignores your voicemail. He doesn't seem to be able to make any policy corrections quickly (or at all) like other State Farm agents can, and he just does nothing. I've been with other State Farm agents who not only have an office, but can put in policy corrections pretty much immediately, which triggers an updated rate and bill. But with Nima Rad, I'm going on a month and he has done nothing for me at all. You would think he would want the insurance policy to be correct, and get it corrected ASAP, but instead he's just stalling making the corrections probably hoping that I will forget about it and needless pay more money. I only drive like less than 5,000 miles a year yet on my latest bill, he put that I drive over 15,000 a year. And now I can't seem to get him to correct this error. I've had it with this and have sent noticed to the corporate office about it and also am closing all of my multiple policies with State Farm. Good riddance.

It…read morewas not just a matter of having a bad escrow officer (Donna DiBasilio) either, it seems the whole organization could use a refresher on customer service and just plan doing their jobs right. I had a few initial questions, which all went unanswered. For the signing, they had my gender wrong. I was happy never to work with this company again. Unfortunately, I found out later that they also had my name spelled wrong in certain places. You would think they'd return my calls after making such a blatant and consequential error, but I went through another few weeks of being ignored until I was finally able to get someone to address the problem. I had to take more time off work to return to the Fidelity office and sign the name correction. At this time, I asked to speak with a manager. I wanted it known that the level of service and incompetence was not at all what I expected to get given the thousands of dollars I paid Fidelity. After hearing a few half-hearted excuses (my escrow officer tends to take Thursdays and Fridays off, I should have used a team email, rather than the one on her business card, etc.), I was assured I'd get a call back from the district manager, Uyen Nguyen. I was not surprised never to hear from anyone again but continue to be disappointed. I hope this review helps others make better decisions in choosing not to work with Fidelity for their titling needs. It's the last thing you need to worry about during an already stressful process.
