Brow Station located inside of Macy's in Oakbrook. I went online and booked my appointment for a brow trim. My schedule appointment was confirmed with my date and time. I arrived a few minutes early and no one was there at the station. I walked around a bit and went back over to see if person had arrived. Still there was no one around.i tracked down a manager and she told me that the young lady was off for the weekend. I tried not to be upset about little things. But, I'm only human. I explained to the Manager of my situation ad she was so attentive and kind. She sincerely apologize and for my inconvenience. I was giving two $25.00 vouchers to spend on my purchase at any department in Macy's. I appreciate how the manger handle the situation with professionalism. So Desi is the current brow artist at this location and she is great! I thought it was a prerequisite to know how to do brows, but due to my past experiences I have found that is not the case. I unfortunately moved out of the area and could not find anyone who could do brows-- how?!!? After dealing with some pretty bad brow jobs, I made the drive just to see Desi because she is that good!! You can tell she knows what she's doing and is super easy to talk to. I won't go back to any other Benefit!! Ladies (and gents) do your brows a favor and visit this location!! D'Andre is a brow genius. I traveled 3 hours to have him fix my brows, because I saw what he was able to do with my good friend's brows. And she had great brows to begin with! My eyebrows were in major need of some help as I had at one point gotten desperate and had someone else (at another establishment) shape them for me and well It did not go well . I have gone to see Mia for brow appointments multiple times and I have been happy with every outcome. Mia is kind and welcoming and she listens to what you need. She works quickly but efficiently for the results that you want. She also offers to touch up your makeup before you leave so you are looking your best after your appointment. Mary Anne was outstanding and I so enjoyed having my brows PROPERLY arched. This is not a brow factory where everyone exits with the same look. She first measures to locate your natural arch and then uses a marker to outline what hair will be removed. You have an opportunity to say yea or nay BEFORE she removes the hair. The end product was so eye-pleasing! I would highly recommend and will be returning. I've gone to numerous eyebrow salons and it seems every time I go the shape of my brows would be different. Oak Brook mall is my go to where I do most of my shopping. Im a regular at Sephora and I noticed one of the sales associates eyebrows which I was very drawn to. She ended up telling me that she goes to beauty bar in Macy's. And to be sure to ask for Mia. Well let's just say I've been going to them for the past couple of years and they've never disappointed me. It's very easy to make an appointment. There's no waiting. I'm always greeted with a smile. And most important I always leave satisfied with my service. Mia is the best she always greets me and catching up on how things are going. I love how she takes her time. Unlike most places they rush and get you out ASAP for the next client. She's very organized and clean. Unlike some places it's a hot mess! I went to Benefit for my first time today, I was referred by a co-worker who's daughter goes there. My eye brows were LONG overdue to be done, the girl Jenny, was super nice, plus she did an AMAZING job. Literally, my eyebrows are perfect. That has NEVER happened before. I went to the brow bar on Friday and had a horrible experience. I just read the last reviewers comment and Jenny, must have had an off day with me. After explaining I like a full natural looking brow and telling her I didn't want anything off the length she proceed to wax the entire left side off my brow. My left brow is now a full inch shorter than my right. I will never go back there. I've been wearing benefit makeup for ten years now and although I'll still buy all my favorite products it won't be at this location. This is not a bar that treats brows in a conservative fashion. Be aware and if you go there monitor the process every little step of the way. read more

I have been here a few times and have had amazing service (Cayla is my favorite!). I have made appointments both online and by phone. However, I made an appointment yesterday by phone for 6:30 pm, drove an hour to the BrowBar, and was told I never made the appointment. The woman at the desk treated me very coldly, but then offered to "squeeze" me in (even though I had made an appointment). This was fine with me, as it took me a very long time to get there. I sat down with D'Andre, who seemed very nice! However, about a minute after sitting down, I was told to get up since the "actual" person scheduled for 6:30 pm had arrived. The whole experience made me feel very uncomfortable as if I wasn't wanted and was an inconvenience, even though I had called them to make the appointment! Although I used to love going here, I will now have to find another place to get my eyebrows done. I do not appreciate feeling unwanted when I am spending so much! read more

I decided to visit Benefit at Macy's for the eyebrow waxing (would have liked tinting, but not offered here) and individual eyelashes. Endear (sp) did my eyebrows and they were not too thin nor too thick. I had just enough natural arch. I also ended up purchasing the volumizing eyebrow gel that she used to fill them in and it was perfect for me. Just enough color without overdoing it. I was not as impressed with the eyelashes, but I would definitely come back for the waxing. read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This encounter reminded me why I don't go to this Macy's for anything. I went to the counter and made an appointment. Returned on time for my appointment time and was told they had to take the next walk in because we were "late." The young man who entered the appointment into the book told me a time, we were prompt. Karyna's answer was he doesn't work there, their appointments run on a 20 min interval, and they in fact took two more walk in's. I don't usually ask someone behind the counter if they work there (since he spoke directly with Gio before setting it up), nor do I have a reason to question a time slot since I don't make their schedule. I asked to speak with a manager, Karyna returned a few minutes later without one. Gio also insisted we missed the appointment, by 10 mins per her. If that were true, and you run on 20 min intervals, how could you have taken two additional walk-in's? Simple math doesn't add up, but that didn't matter. Neither Gio or Karyna should work in a customer service industry. Lastly, they had my phone number to call me if there was any issue with the time slot the young man had given us.
