It was my first time there. She took me in right away and did a great job cleaning up my brows and tinting them.

If you work or shop at Oakbrook Center, this threading salon is a convenient option. I was lucky to get a walk-in spot late in the morning on a Wednesday. The aesthetician who did my brows was efficient and did exactly what I asked for: cleaned them up and kept them thick. I also got my upper lip threaded and finally got my one annoying chin hair taken out! They accept all major credit cards and you can easily add tip without needing cash. Doesn't get better than this. read more

We've been in this facility a couple of times. It's nice how bright it is inside, so they can really see what they're doing. Both times my boyfriend got his brows done they looked awesome! My only complaint is that he asked them to do the sides of his brow by right above his temple and they charged an additional $5 for what took two seconds because it's his "forehead". We've never been charged extra for that at other places so we just found it weird. When you do men's eyebrows it leaves an awkward line so it's always just been a part of the service. I came here on a Saturday afternoon to get my eyebrows and some extra facial hair threaded. They are super efficient and the place seems like it is always a little busy. This was my first time here. They did a great job and it was really quick. The clean up after was a little less satisfactory and because they had a lot of people those extra attention to details, cleaning up, applying aloe were not done. Also the price is up there, I paid close to $35 for my services and it was nothing too crazy. I usually pay $15-20 at other salons in Chicago for what I get threaded. I would say this is a good place, it's busy, it seemed clean, the staff was friendly. It however was pricy, and the attention to detail gets lost when there is a rush. read more

This is simply THE best place to go to for threading. Your brows look amazing every time! Trust me...I have some serious eyebrows. I have tried plucking, waxing, even threading at other salons. Other places hurt too much, make my brows too thin, miss smaller hairs, dont trim the brows too.....here they do it all. I've tried local threading spots, even the brow place at Woodfield mall. Nope. Nothing compares. This is definitely the best spot. Wait...it gets better...It's affordable, its conviently located in a mall for additional shopping needs, they havr a customer card that will get you a greebie if you keep going back, and they offer other bodily waxing services. Its a one-stop hair removal joint! No...I dont work here. I just faithfully visit every two weeks. I have been coming here for 2 years now and I love my eyebrows! I was looking for a new place since my old eyebrow lady was starting to charge an arm and a leg for brows. My sister and friends also go here and love it. I love when Mariela is there bc she threads very nicely and fast. I'll be in and out within 15min-at most. The prices are very reasonable. You can pay with cash or card, and can include tip on the card. They opened up their new location which is very nice! The location is right by the parking lot where the Sears and The Picture People are (or used to be). You'll be in and out without having to deal with all the mall crowds. read more

I had been coming here for the past year but unfortunately I will not be returning. The women are rushed and cut up my eyebrows so horribly the past few times. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for 10 years so I know the difference the quality of thread being used. The thread this place uses is harsh and hurts so badly. Location Location Location. This threading location is in the perfect part of Oakbrook Mall, well for me anyway. It's close to some of my favorite stores--Nordstrom and Paper Source. And it's in the "children's wing" as I like to call the area--Disney store, Stride Rite (for now-they're moving boooo!), The Children's Place and Kidsnips. Talk about getting all your shopping, kid shopping and kid haircut and eyebrow grooming errands done in one area! But location doesn't mean a thing if their service isn't good and luckily Neel delivers. I've never had to wait for my turn--even on a busy Saturday. They are always friendly and are always attentive. I've grown accustomed to telling threading gals wherever I go to not go "too thin" and to just "clean up the brows" because I don't want to end up with too thin brows. Here, they know I want them shaped well without over-threading. Now I just sit in the chair and say "make me look pretty" and after some zipping with the thread I feel like a new person. Waited over 1 year for my eyebrows to grow back after repeated butcher jobs by other brow "experts" so so happy I finally came here, my brows are still thick but beautifully shaped. This place did not disappoint and is way better than Anastasia inside Nordstrom, for a much better price point too. The young lady who worked on me LISTENED to me, she did an amazing job and they are so sweet here. Please note they moved locations and are not near Stir Crazy and Lane Bryant. I came in to get my eyebrows threaded on 10/8 & decided to also get eyelash extensions after talking to the girl & seeing the price. Big mistake. My left eye started burning toward the end of her putting them on. She told me my eyes, "just aren't used it yet." My eyes were red & puffy for 2 days after and in no way look like I have extensions. The eyelashes on the left eye that started burning are so far up my eyelid, I'm unable to even put mascara on. This way not only a waste of $65 plus tip, but I can't even wear mascara to make it seem like I have eyelashes. read more

I've been going to Sneha at Neel Thredz Spa for a while now and I am ALWAYS happy with her work. I get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded. She does it exactly the way I like and is always very friendly and courteous. I have a business in the mall so it's just easier for me to go to her rather than the neighborhood places I use to go to.
