Araceli is a brow genius. After getting my brows butchered at 7 different salons in North Hollywood/Burbank area, I decided to go for a brow expert. Unfortunately, the really good experts all cost $50 or more in this area! Thank God I found Benefit BrowBar, because an eyebrow wax/shaping is just $22 and she walks you through the whole process with a mirror in your hand so you can recreate your bomb brows at home. I went in for an eyebrow wax and Lola was awesome! Coming here is truly a full brow experience. Lola started by following safe Covid protocols which I was very thankful for. She even wore a shield over her mask and I watched her wash her hands. She did a thorough evaluation of my brow needs and asked what I wanted, then did a pain-free wax and cleanup of my brows, followed by a soothing lotion and she also managed to cover up all the redness. I've never been somewhere that took the time to do that. I was previously used to going to SHAPES in the Burbank mall to where they offered none of this care, someone usually would just start on your eyebrows without saying a word to you... well you definitely get what you pay for! $23 +tip was a totally reasonable price for this service and I feel like I got an expert experience. Lisa is the brow artist here and let me tell you what, shes amazing!! She's been doing this for a few years now so she really knows what your brows should look like on each face type. She's very professional, but also very personable and makes you feel comfortable in the chair. She has a lot of repeat customers so make sure you make an appointment if you want to do it on the weekend. The brow waxing is $20 but she does a full consultation and also covers up any redness as well as fill in your brows so you're leaving her chair looking your best. I came in for the free birthday eyebrow design which was a pain in the ass to book. My eyebrows ended up very high up almost like something from the 1940s (not a good look for me because it makes me look like I am giving the "I'm on to you" look). I felt like I was also hit up a lot to buy products there. I also didn't care for where it was located in the mall.People are staring at you as they walk by you since it is located right next to the escalator. Cost normally is $20. I went there today to get my eyebrows and lip waxed. I usually go to the Benefit Brow Bar in Ulta (which is awesome!) but I was with my family in the mall, so I decided to stop here. They told me they had a 4:20 appointment opened, so I took it. We got there at 4:10, so I figured a 10 minute wait wasn't that bad. I am almost six months pregnant and even though they couldn't have known that, I was never offered a place to sit. I also felt like I was being scrutinized by the staff because they never ONCE smiled at me after I booked the appointment and stood around waiting. They are supposed to be in the business of also helping people with makeup, and the guy that was there looked like he went to clown school for makeup application, and the girl looked like something from the goth style clubs in Blade II. We waited until 4:25, but nobody went over and told the girl she has another appointment, or came over to tell me that somebody would be right with me. At that point I left because I was fed up. When I told them to cancel, that we had to go, they just told me go ahead. Wow...they really wanted my business huh? I have never been so disrespected by someplace that is supposed to SERVICE customers. This particular brow bar should be shut down or be taught some manner and good customer service. read more

I have been doing my brows for 2 years and when I finally went back a different location didn't really work for me but she read my mind in waxing them exactly how I wanted them! She filled them in as well and made sure to use a product I don't already own to see the differences and that was nice. ANTONIO is amazing at shaping brows! I came in skeptic thinking that I might regret getting my eyebrows done here, but I really, really needed to get them done. Now, thanks to Antonio, I am a big fan of this place. Antonio is very professional about making sure you get what you want while making his recommendations for the type of brow that suits your facial structure. He does not rush to get you in and out of the benefit brow bar, which is a big deal for me, especially when I am paying $20.00. I felt comfortable asking him if he would do the brow map before waxing my brows because I wanted to have an idea of what I was getting myself into. Turns out, the brow map he did for me worked out very well. He was extremely nice and took his time to make sure he and I were both satisfied with my brows. If you go to this place, definitely ask for ANTONIO to do your eyebrows. You will not regret it. I will be going back to him for sure and letting my friends know about his wonderful brow work. And, yes, I agree with the other review on here that this benefit brow stand is in a very busy spot of Macy's makeup counter section.
