I made an appointment with her to get my makeup done for engagement photos after my original makeup person I found on Yelp canceled on me the week before. I don't remember how I found Lyndsey during my last minute scramble to find a replacement, but I'm so glad I found her (things really do happen for a reason!) As a makeup artist, Lyndsey is very open to what you would like your makeup to look like. She takes into account your reason for getting makeup done, your outfit colors, your favorite colors and just how you wear your makeup everyday. She definitely knows how to highlight your facial features and cover up the blemishes so that you have a flawless and gorgeous looking face. Her salon is cute, chic and very inviting. You can even get your hair done there as well (which I didn't plan to but ultimately did too). I can't rave enough about this place! So much talent! My normal person (Diana) was out first having her baby recently and I love her - but I ended with a newly graduated stylist who took 1 hr and 45 min for a basic hair cut (on my bday) and also did all the things I said I didn't like and cut it too short. Never asked for a refund before but still waiting to hear back from my multiple emails. I'll be back when Diana returns but don't know that I would switch stylists again.

These range from stylists to waxers. Many of the professionals who rent lofts allow for online booking through the Salon Loft website. With COVID, the waiting area is closed. Customers are to text who their appointment is with, and that person will let them know when it is safe to enter. My appointment was with Stephanie Castrucci. Stephanie took time cutting my hair. On that she did a good job. I would give the cut 4 stars. I was more impressed with the cut than the highlights. ALL other places I have had my hair colored at have shown color swatches to confirm the color I am describing is what they have. This has been the case no matter the stylist I have seen for color. (Unless it is a repeat appointment, and they remember my color.) Stephanie got right to mixing, with no visual confirmation. Resulting color was more oragne than I would have liked. Color also didn't go all the way to the roots in most places. This made the color immediately look like the hair had alreay grown out for a few weeks. The color I give 2.5 stars. I averaged the stars out to 3.

Search her name in the reviews at Salon Beck and you'll see what I mean. She has fixed my hair so many times. On my most recent visit she fixed my hair (yet again)- it had been dyed completely black by a stylist in California. She is an amazing colorist and her cuts are always perfect. I don't have to explain much- just tell her an idea of what I want and leave happy. Highly highly recommend.

She has coffee and other complimentary drinks for you to enjoy during your service. I get my hair cut, colored, and high/low lighted. She used to be a Wella color instructor so she is highly talented in this area. I have showed her a picture of a color I wanted and she duplicated it EXACTLY. Same with haircuts. Whether you have a picture, something in mind, or are looking for suggestions you will not be disappointed. As an added bonus she does wedding hair and makeup!

She's super friendly, and made me feel super comfortable when I first came in to see her. Cassie has done so many different variations of color on me all the way from dark brown to near blonde. Well, I found out A LOT!! Two sisters (Ashley and Andrea) co-own this place and started it a little under a year ago. All of their products are organic and you can tell they really know their stuff when it comes to body grooming and care. They offer tons of services, including but not limited to: Waxing, haircuts (for men and women), mani's, pedi's, massages, etc. My cousin and I had the pleasure of getting our nails done by the owners themselves and they are absolutely the cutest, sweetest ladies ever! Super personable and it's obvious they care a lot about their customers and the services they offer, as well as products sold!! Even though I'd had a rough morning and was a little late, they did their best to accommodate my requests while still being cognizant of their time and their other clients time. It was totally my fault I was late and I appreciate them setting boundaries and expectations to keep themselves on schedule. I enjoyed my experience and liked my haircut and quick style. I will be back when I'm not rushing around to enjoy the salon more fully!
