The interior was very clean and feminine which just made it feel more fun. The only things that I think could be improved on are the music choice and the paperwork. I had checked in with someone at the front desk and they just went to the side room to chat with one of the other employees and it wasn't until Savannah came out that I was given several pages of paperwork to fill out. I had been waiting quite a bit for my appointment and it would have been so much more seamless if they had just given me that to begin with. Also the music choice was super bizarre - it was like early 2000's clubbing music which isn't necessarily the vibe I'm going for when I'm trying to get a spa treatment. Savannah is 5/5 but the front desk could definitely use some improvement.

I've got unusual hair, weird cowlicks, and I can be persnickety. Not once - not once - did she cut my hair that it wasn't perfect. Not one stylist had every done that in my (not short) life. After she moved to Ohio no one has cut my hair to her standard since. She's friendly, warm, caring, unassuming, eager to hear your needs, and an outstanding technician. Her shampoos were a monthly treat that I looked forward to. Her mentor is Vidal Sassoon - each year she'd invest in Sassoon's technical courses in Chicago to broaden her expertise. She's one of those stylists that actually listens to what you want and never pushes you to do or try something that isn't in your comfort zone. She had been cutting my hair for years before we ever had the conversation about me possibly doing something with color, specifically balayage. What I love most about Becca is that she really does care about your style and will spend time with you during your appointment to actually look at pictures, pins on Pinterest, etc. A lot of stylists I've been to sort of rush that process along, which can be really unnerving when you're spending time and money for color treatments -- Becca will never do that to you! If you take a look at her website, Facebook page, or Instagram handle, you can immediately see the breadth of her ability. Becca is creative, passionate, and a TOTAL pleasure to be around.
