Steak and Eggs
Shamir W.

Stopped by here after the hot chocolate run. got on the waitlist and by the time we got there, our table was ready. The place was busy, the staff was very helpful and got us seated right away and got us waters. Spent some time looking over the menu and ordered a few things. The place is on the Main Street and there is street parking plus a parking lot about a block or so away. Good ambiance and clean restaurant with high tables as well as booths and tables. I got a steak Benedict and on the table, we got steak and eggs, the brunch burger, French toast, omelette, pancakes, side of the hot chicken and the burrito. The food took a few minutes to come out but it was a busy day and they had a full restaurant so that's understandable. The server was friendly and helpful and was attentive to our needs. My Benedict was good. The béarnaise sauce had good flavor and the steak was cooked to temp. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside. The burrito was packed and had decent flavor and the steak and eggs were good with the same béarnaise sauce that was on the Benedict. The burger was overcooked but the egg on it was perfectly cooked. The kids were not a fan of the pancakes but the star if the show were the French toast. We shared one order of it and it was enough for the table as a sweet ending to the meal. Overall, this is a decent place for brunch. There are definitely other places that have better brunch in the cities. I wouldn't mind going back there if a group wants to go or if we are in the area. I wouldn't seek it out if make a point to go out of my way to go there.

This was my second time here, but my first visit was yearsss ago! Everything was better than I remembered - it's the best breakfast we've eaten out in ages (maybe ever?). Everything was delicious & the pancakes were served with real syrup, which is a BIG + from me. Service was great too, engaging but not overbearing. This spot would be especially great for a summer brunch since it's right by the lake. Everything inside is nice, bright and happy with high ceilings.

We absolutely love this spot! We recently moved to Plymouth and we're looking for a nearby breakfast spot that wasn't super busy. My wife and I also really enjoy eggs Benedict so this spot made sense to try out. Plenty of parking nearby although might be a short walk to get to entrance. Hasn't been too busy when we go around 8AM on weekends. The service is great and the food is delicious. Highly recommend going here for breakfast/brunch.

Wowowow was this place great: 4/5 classic Benedict - the ham was shaved a little too thin, otherwise excellent flavor. 4/5 gravlox - the tomatoes were cut a little too big, wish they were sliced instead of chopped. Also didn't like that I had a tomato core. But well balanced, great flavor. 4/5 French toast. So good, just wish the whipped cream was smaller dollops. Amazing experience. Great service. Loved how the server asked if we were sharing and offered extra plates right away. Waters and coffee was always filled. Will absolutely return.

Stopped by on a Tuesday morning around 10 AM, and it was surprisingly busy -- definitely a popular spot! I tried the tater tot hash, and it was excellent -- crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. I also got an almond latte, which was smooth and well-balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness. The atmosphere was lively, and although it was a bit crowded, the service was still friendly and efficient. A solid breakfast/brunch spot -- I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

Had a great breakfast! Went with the California Benedict and it was a nice dish. Could have had a little more flavor but the ingredients were fresh and the portion was substantial! Loved the breakfast potatoes- super crispy and perfect amount of salt. Service was great and it is a fun, upbeat atmosphere. Had a great experience overall!

"The Classic" Benedict. Yummy!

Stopped in for a girls brunch on a Friday morning. Despite being quite busy, it had a relaxed vibe and the sever was attentive, but we didn't feel rushed as we spent time chatting and relaxing. We all had "The Classic" Benedict. It was well prepared with the requisite ham, egg, and hollandaise. It wasn't the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had, but it would rank in the top five. You have a choice of sides- I went with hash browns- they were wonderfully crispy and not oily. The coffee was tasty and our sever kept our cups full- which we appreciated. Benedict's is a great breakfast/brunch spot- I would definitely return.

Food was great! Service was great as well. I had the smoked trout Benny with a pancake side. Trout was fresh and seasoned. Pancake tastes like a cornmeal mix but still was good. We enjoyed the music and decor. The mocha was delish. We will definitely be back!

Smoked trout Benedict and the Nordeaster Benedict

I ate breakfast here yesterday for the second time and this spot is so delightful. Fresh squeezed orange juice and amaretto oat milk iced coffee to start the day. The smoked trout Benedict and Nordeaster lobster Benedict were delicious. Benedicts are my favorite breakfast food and the smoked trout exceeded expectations. I am also a big fan of sweet potatoes and their side of such was perfect! Our server was incredibly pleasant! I was surprised to be sat immediately during Sunday brunch.

I really enjoyed the Monte Cristo sandwich. And the staff were very friendly and efficient. This place definitely has a nice ambiance, but I will say that during busier times the seating can feel a bit cramped.

Sat at the bar with a friend. The service was just ok. I think the bartender gets slammed with taking orders plus making drinks for the restaurant. We waited a long time for our food. My friend had an omelette and I had the chichidas. We both enjoyed our food.

Second time coming to Bennedict's, this time on a Saturday morning. Good brunch spot, loved the biscuits and gravy and the strawberry/S'mores pancakes were good as well. Both times the service was a little slow because of the crowd but a solid breakfast/brunch spot and no complaints.

We had friends in town and were looking for a nice brunch place to take them to - especially one that is vegetarian friendly. We had heard good things about Benedicts in Wayzata so took a drive up to give them a shot. Don't sleep on this Western suburb restaurant. The breakfast food is banging and the service is impeccable. For vegetarians, if you take meat out of a dish they will even offer to let you sub in vegetarian options like avocado for free! Which is unheard of nowadays. We shared the Monkey Bread to start which is a traditional monkey bread, but you can get a combination of Caramel AND Cream Cheese topping. Which I highly recommend as it is decadent, sweet, and delicious. For my meal, I went with a Build Your Own Omelet. I had them throw in Jalapenos, Spinach, and Mushrooms. Was it huge? Absolutely. Did I eat it all while drinking plenty of coffee and having great laughs with friends? You know it. ____

Limited vegan options. A scrambled tofu would be great. Or a fruit bowl with the chicken patty. Not every vegan likes oatmeal.

The only confusing part was the ordering process. I ordered a glass of wine and wasn't told I needed to pick it up from the bar, so I expected it to come out with the food. I understand the concept, but it wasn't very clear when walking in--where to order, how food is delivered, and that drinks are picked up separately. The staff also weren't very engaging, either at the counter, when delivering food, or at the bar. A more welcoming experience might have encouraged us to order additional drinks. That said, it's a really cute spot, and I'd definitely give it another try next time I'm in town.

Their food tastes fresh, and they do a great job with their menu options. If you're going in the morning I would go earlier as it definitely fills up. They do have decaf espresso which I love as a decaf person. However today I ordered decaf and didn't get it which was disappointing especially since most people order decaf for medical or other reasons, not just for fun. The past two times I've ordered it was decaf though so hopefully just a fluke today, but I'll be more careful next time.

The views are immaculate. My date that I met there went all out and go an amazing table right by the water (5 stars) and I sat down and we promptly ordered drinks. I got my typical grey goose club soda lemon lime (and 2 more after that lol) and they were all great. The service was perfection, our waitress was really good about popping back in and out and not being too overbearing, she was really good about reading the vibe and that we were deep in conversation and I was really grateful for that. We got the wagyu meatballs and man oh man.. they were awesome, melt in your mouth, quality meat, great flavor, the sauce was perfect, not too runny or saucy at all and served with some nice crusty bread. All in all, great vibes, great ambiance, great energy, lovely drinks. Will be back!

Sure you folks had scrambled eggs but no sausage? No bacon? No omelet station? Instead you serve some kind of veggie casserole, salmon, spiced carrots, and mashed potatoes? I guess I wouldn't complain if the dishes were done well but they weren't. Every protein dish was bland, bland, bland. From the prime rib, to the scrambled eggs, to the salmon...they all had absolutely no flavor. Oh, and you have to ask your server for salt & pepper for your table. The best things on the buffet line were the French Toast Bake and the mashed potatoes were decent. The desserts were more just sweet than anything else. Next Mother's Day, I'll book a reservation at Manny's.

Nestled right along one of the most scenic lakeshores in Minnesota, Wayzata brings a charm that's hard to beat. Between the lake views, walkable streets, and vibrant energy, the setting alone makes the evening feel special and Josefina fits right into that experience with a great atmosphere and inviting space. The food matched the setting. We started with appetizers, the Brussels sprouts and focaccia were excellent and then moved into a mix of pastas and pizza.
