HORRIBLE JOB. no one is helpful for anything! this place just loves to find anything wrong to you…read morecharge you a quick buck. Failed inspection and got quoted 2500 by them. I got the work done at another shop for $600 then they found something else "wrong". I get that fixed then but, then now in MD you can't have this so we need to fix it. I get a third repair and have to wait 2 week since the ONLY ONE INSPECTOR IS ON VACATION. Then when I make my 4th appointment, my 30 days grace expired and I need to pay 100 to start over again. This place is a joke. If there was anything wrong they should have said that the first time it failed not finding something new everytime I brought her in. This place is a scam and stay away!

On February 20, 2026, I paid $1,586.12 to Midas at 338 E Pulaski Hwy, Elkton, MD for repairs they…read morestated would address shaking at high speeds, a rough ride, and shaking while idling. The issue was not fixed. When I returned to the Elkton location for resolution, I was not provided a solution. Law enforcement was called, and I was asked to leave instead of being assisted. I was then directed to a second location at 3601 Miller Rd, Wilmington, DE to meet with a district manager. During that visit, I was told additional repairs could cost up to $2,244.76, depending on further parts or services. I declined and requested that the original issue be properly repaired without additional charges, as that was the purpose of the initial service. I was later informed that no further repairs would be performed on my vehicle. I am requesting a proper repair or a full refund for the work that was paid for but not completed. I have documentation and video evidence supporting this claim. Join me at ErsatzReality as I document the entire process.,

Midas replace the battery. The battery they put in was not the same battery on the sale receipt. It has now failed February 2015 this month. Diehard refused to honor the warranty. Took my truck to a Nissan Garage make sure that everything was all right before buying a new battery. They had to jumpstart it to get it in their garage. They told me the battery was not the right one for my truck. They put in the proper battery with a longer warranty. Chanced my full synthetic oil. For lees money than Midas did. Sorry Maryland. Never comeback there again. You probably won't miss me.

They told me there was nothing wrong with my vehicle, and told me I had to pay an additional $185 for the tow. When I told them I didn't agree with this additional payment they threatened to take my vehicle from me. I paid the money under duress, drove the vehicle home, and once again, upon exiting the vehicle saw that the oil was still leaking continually, if not worse than before. These people did nothing but lie repeatedly for no other reason other than the sake of lying. They cursed me out repeatedly, I was threatend to have my vehicle stolen from me, and I was robbed $1685 dollars. This is only half of the horror story. The good news is that every event, email, and text message has been well-documented. Stay away from Lunch Box Garage unless you want to subject yourself to the abuse of these liars and thieves.
