Read the comments please, don't bring your car in here. You expect better quality atleast from a dealership but that's not the case

Extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Chevy of Bend…read more I brought my Suburban in for its 90K service and a check engine light. I received a link to my total after the service was completed showing approximately $843 labeled total estimate for the 90K service. Nothing indicated that this was "parts only." They diagnosed an additional high-pressure fuel pump/regulator issue and initially quoted around $1,900 to repair it. After getting much lower quotes elsewhere, I told them I would take my car somewhere else for that repair. Terry then offered to lower their repair price to around $1,300 to keep the work there. He called me and specifically told me my total for everything would be $2,150 and some change, which made sense based on the $843 estimate plus the negotiated repair price. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, my bill was suddenly around $2,900. When I questioned the nearly $750 difference, Terry told me the $843 estimate was essentially just parts and didn't include all the labor. I went back and reviewed the receipt later and looked everywhere for the original $843 that was in the link and it was no where. The parts total was listed around $600 not $843 and the labor was over $700 bringing the new-to-me total to over $1400. Somehow, after approximately $600 was taken off the additional repair, the cost of my 90K service went from roughly $843 to around $1,400. From my perspective, it felt like the discount I negotiated on the repair simply reappeared somewhere else on the bill. Had I been told the actual total would be $2,900, I would have taken the vehicle elsewhere as I originally planned. Instead, I authorized the repair based on being specifically told my total would be around $2,150. I paid the bill because my vehicle was already completed and I clearly wasn't getting anywhere disputing it at pickup, but I left feeling completely taken advantage of. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend getting the final, all-in price in writing before authorizing any work here.

Don't get me wrong it is a great dealership with service just be ready to open your pocket book. It is not like it use to be and pay some money to have some one work on your vehicle. We use to love taking the vehicle in to get worked on. Anymore it is sad we don't take it in because of pricing. It is sad we have gotten to the point where you can't just take your vehicle in cause you don't want to work on it. Now it's you either work on it or you won't get it fixed do too you can't afford the part. This is coming from a guy who watched a YouTube video and changed his radiator in the parking lot after buying the tools.

Terrible dealership. I wish I could take back my purchase and buy elsewhere due to their service…read moredepartment. Brought my vehicle in a week before warranty expiration. Of the six items that needed repair their service department looked for reasons to deny rather than fix or even try to replicate the problem. For instance, the factory horn that can be seen thru the front grill on a Wrangler 392 appears to be rusted. Went back and forth with the service advisor on how that's a factory horn and he kept on insisting that its aftermarket. After many times going back and forth, turns out the plastic cover on the factory horn came off and exposed metal - still can't get an answer why this isn't covered under warranty. 2) the vehicle came with half-doors and soft top uppers along with factory full doors (Jeep). The factory soft top upper doors began leaking and leaving about 1-2 inches of water on the driver and passenger floorboard. First the service department claimed it's not covered under warranty because I installed a rack on the back half of the vehicle. When I pushed back, because the leaks were coming from the front, they pivoted to say the tops were aftermarket and Chrysler would not cover after market parts. Had to go back and forth again with the service writer. First he said he couldn't see the jeep came with those doors from the factory. Then he said they are not OEM. Upon pressing, he miraculously noticed the Chrysler emblem on the corner of the vinyl window. Pretty obviously you ask me. 3) alternator not charging battery. Service response was that because I added after market lights to vehicle, the can't diagnose and troubleshoot. 4) transfer case not engaging front axle housing. Known problem in the 392. Supposedly they found metal shavings in the oil. When I called bull they pivoted and said it's due to my aftermarket axles and Chrysler will not cover them. I call bull specifically because when the Jeep would not engage the front axle, I changed the oil and it was filthy dirty indicating a problem with the problematic clutch plates. The dealership didn't check the oil! I call bull. The vehicle was never driven with the new oil. A few more issues but I won't bother. I have never experienced such terrible service from a dealership. I would have expected them to be on the side of the consumer. I will NEVER bring my jeep back to this dealership in Bend. They lost a customer for purchases AND for service.

I bought a beautiful 2016 beetle at the end of June 2023, and Corey provided some of the best…read moreservice I have ever experienced. He was responsive, kind, and I felt like he really put an effort to get me a deal I was okay with, he even drove it from bend to Hillsboro. The issues started with the lack of effective communication when it came to getting a new title, registration, and DEQ testing. It's a very complex situation that has the Oregon DMV confused about everything, during which time I got less then stellar customer service from management. With significant (to me at least) unexpected fees popping, and after exchanging some emails, where admittedly I let my financial frustrations (along with some very strong curse words) get the best of me (I'm sorry!), I was reimbursed for most of the fees that incurred. Overall* I would recommend* buying from this dealership, they are fair in making deals, and you have a lot of freedom in negotiating a deal. ** buy local if you can, distance purchases, as it turns out, suck because different counties and/or states have different requirements, which although I knew, didn't think it was going to be much of a problem, they're professionals, they should know AND tell you about it, but sometimes, they don't. ***ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS. My situation seems like it was a lack of communication on BOTH SIDES, I didn't know what questions to ask, and they didn't know what I didn't understand. I would have much rather been on the same page as them, than having to fight for a reimbursement for fees.

They scheduled and I asked the cost but they never specified what the service entailed and yes, I should have asked. When I got back to pick it up they told me the quote was not right and I owed more due to needing more oil. I had an oil changed 2 months prior and did not need one but they went ahead and did it and charged a ridiculous amount for it. The light I went in for is still on. I will never go there are suggest anyone does again.

Please consider before getting work done at Team Kia of Bend…read more We took our 2016 Kia Sorento to Team Kia of Bend for maintenance. We spent $1,600 on some simple repairs, including an oil change, replacing filters, and repairing the seat heater. After picking up the vehicle, we drove only about five miles before the engine failed. We had the vehicle towed back to the dealership because we believed the issue might be related to the service that had just been completed. Initially, Team Kia of Bend told us that this type of engine failure is common on these vehicles and attempted to have the repair covered under Kia's engine recall program. When Kia Corporate denied the claim, the dealership changed its explanation and told us the engine failure was the result of years of inadequate maintenance on our part. We understand that engines can fail and that no vehicle lasts forever. However, our Sorento had only 120,000 miles, had been a reliable vehicle up to this time. The timing of the engine failure--just five miles after the dealership completed the service--makes this situation extremely difficult to accept. To make matters worse, Team Kia of Bend has informed us that they intend to sell our vehicle through a lien sale unless we pay an additional $400 in charges. After already spending $1,600 on service and now losing a vehicle that was running when we brought it in, this has been an incredibly disappointing experience. What made it even worse was how we were treated by Team Kia of Bend. The service manager was dismissive, rude, and made us feel as though our concerns were a joke. We are not looking for special treatment--only fairness, accountability, and consistent communication.
